UNION NO!!! in Garner, North Carolina

No, there’s no two ways about it, those cars were complete shit.

How many K-Cars do you still see on the road? How many Citations, how many Mustang IIs?
Its almost like cars made 50 years ago usually arent on the road 50 years later! Omg! Like woooow!

There more 60s American cars on the road today than those crappy 70s and 80s cars.

As for the age of cars, I drive a 36 year old Corolla.

The 60s cars were junk too. They rusted out quickly, drum brakes all around, and terrible handling. I do love the 60s styling tho. The early rivieras, the 409 impalas, the ford galaxy, and many others that were just gorgeous.

Not to argue for or against unions with the below statement, just offering it for the hell of it.

My mom owned a bright orange Chevy Chevette. Damn near needed asbestos boots to drive the damn thing. Floor board got hot as all hell.

Then there was the Ford LTD Crown Victoria. While it was nice and roomy and luxurious for its time period, if you had to go up a sharp grade on the Interstate, you had to drive over in the truck lane. Had zero power. Fine on flat ground, not good for hills.

Yes, there were some good models in the 1970's and 1980's, but lots of bad ones as well.

Im just saying your train of logic is not sufficient to reach your conclusion. Take it for what its worth.

You can believe what you wish but the reason foreign cars, particularly Japanese, made such major inroads in the states was because American cars were not what people wanted.

Don’t see how that is an issue with my logic.

That is better. We agree. The first car i rode was in a Honda in the mid 80s. Im closer to being at the beginning of the millenial generation.
