Maybe in your fantasy world.

And since the Challenger is twenty years newer than the T-72, your meme is a bad joke.

A better one would be “the heads of folks like you when you see those pictures of “invincible” American kit burning in Yemen”

the news of helicopter supplies to Ukraine,

Sadly, the news may be premature. The Ministry off Defence has apparently denied the stories and the Mirror has removed the story from its website.

On the other hand, we might be supplying 30 AS-90's to Ukraine along with the challenger II's.

No they won't. The time it takes to train a pilot and the ground crew for any airplane or helicopter is so long that the war will be over.

Plus the US has the license and most likely won't give permission at this time.

Doubt the Challenger 2s will be given or even useful. Only 2 countries use them, so spare parts and ammunition are in very short supply.

God you just eat up bullshit propaganda.

Poland sent their old soviet era tanks early in the war.. And considering "tanks" often gets a very wide definition, then some of them might just be armoured trucks with a gun on them.. who knows in this propaganda war.

I've read the apache is not the most user friendly whirly bird out there. Does Ukrain have 4 pilots that can operate them?

14 Challengers, 30 AS-90s.

This again - you complain when Ukraine gets kit their troops already know and don't need extra training and then you complain when Ukraine gets new kit.

Stick to one side of the complaint - it works better for you. Both Russia and the US have been scouring the world for old Soviet equipment as that's what the troops can use right away. It will also help if they get newer kit and training with that kit.

Which is happening now.

This breaking news? Have not seen anything. The AS-90s could be useful, but the Challengers are stupid. They use no standard NATO ammunition, and spare parts are relatively hard to come by. But as I have said for years about the current UK government.. dont believe a single word they say until you actually have video of a Challenger tank being operated by Ukrainians.

Which is my freaking point. If we want to help the Ukrainians now.. either force a peace or give them old Soviet equipment. Hell, the biggest supplier to Ukraine is Russia!

Giving them high tech equipment wont help here and now.. sure in 3+ months (if we are lucky), but a lot can happen in 3+ months. Saw an interview with some British general or something, who said a rushed training program could maybe get people ready for the Challenger in 3 months, but 5 to 6 would be better. So unless the British and others have been secretly training people the last 3+ months in high tech NATO gear.. then well.

Hardly a high tech weapon. The original version is from the 1960s
Leos had an 80% chance of a first round hit. I'm willing to bet that the modern gunnery systems in the Leo 2 A6 is far superior to any system in the T72 B has.

If Leopards don't actually arrive, those Challengers will be useful where they are. As it is, most won't arrive until 2024.

As for the Challengers, I'm pretty certain we'll be giving the Ukrainians ammunition supplies. BAe have a good record producing munitions for Challenger.

Force a peace? Tell them to give up their country until Putin decides he wants another slice? When Moldova becomes the next domino, what will you say then? Force a peace?

Giving them high tech equipment wont help here and now..

Erm... HIMARS has worked out pretty well for them so far don't you think?

or Estonia, or Poland or Kazakhstan

I don't see Russia stupidly attacking Poland or Estonia; they are NATO countries. Kazakhstan however has been pursuing closer ties with China and I don't think Putin has the chutzpah to attack someone China is building relations with.
