U.S. Job Growth Unexpectedly Soared in July

My enthusiasm as to a 2024 vote for Biden only extends to "I'll be enthusiastic if his opponent is that fat anti-American piece of shit loser Trump".
So far the only thing he's been repeating ad nauseam is how the election was stolen despite having no evidence to prove any of his nonsense. That and the endless whinging about how he's the most persecuted American blah...blah...blah. That's not a campaign platform, it's a therapy session.

You want to pretend that a woman is a man? You want to ignore the reality that 74 million Americans voted for Trump and he lost the election by about 175,000 votes all mail in ballots from Democrat precincts? You want to ignore that Trump supporters when to the polls doing their civic responsibility while millions of Biden supporters couldn't take the time to go to the polls for early voting or on election day? You want to explain why 9 states sent out official ballots to everyone on the voter rolls without first cleaning up those rolls for deaths and moving out of state? You like are too many have that entitlement mentality that you believe democracy and voting should be easy. now you want to turn on democracy as well by not adhering to state and local laws crying to the federal bureaucrats when you don't get your way

Oh by the way, this is post 369 and still no one has refuted Post 60 which shows less people employed in July 2022 vs February 2020 the month before the pandemic was declared and business lockdowns occurred

BWAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA!!!!!

Trump lost by 7 million votes. Is today the day you just post the stupidest things that come out of your addled brain? Chug some Metamucil and chew your toenails for a while.

Conservative is a Big Lie pusher in addition to being clueless about economics. This is too rich!

He's appealing to his base. They are not the brightest bulbs in the tanning bed. They are all disgruntled, angry, moronic, and need their master Trump to be the alpha males in their lives because they have failed miserably on their own. He plays them like fiddles in a way we haven't seen since the jungles of Guyana.

Ok, I would prefer he didn't run either but the reality exists if he does run he has my vote because his policies and results warrant that support. I don't pay any attention to rhetoric or personality, just policies and results.

In other words "I've been bribed to accept anything and everything that Trump does that is a lie, illegal, evil, and anti-American so long as I have more money in my bank account."

Lovely, truly patriotic of anyone who accepts a bribe because it's good for them even if it's bad, illegal an evil...

I do not think Trump can win again.
I agree with you and that's why I prefer that he gets the nomination. The problem is that his world is crashing in on him like a black hole and it's impossible to predict how many legal issues he'll have when it's time for the GOP convention in two years.

Yep, no doubt about that. I'm always reminded about that comment he made about shooting someone on 5th Ave. and not losing any voters; it's when I knew he had made his marks and thought them dumb enough to support him no matter what. Switching this back to the thread topic, if job growth remains at a health pace and inflation begins to slow down, then it might be an easier go for Democrats in 2024. The passing of some key legislation Biden campaigned on might make it easier for them as well, but all that depends on where we are in 2024 economically.

The House is in trouble in the midterms, but that's always the case, with only 2 exceptions in the last 100 years. Things are not as gloomy and doomy as the Republicans would like them to be right now, which is why @Conservative flips his lid every time good news is reported. As long as America is failing, there is a chance that the party that owns him will take back control.

The other piece of comedy in the post you quoted is the hypocrisy in complaining about the narrow victory margin in 2020 when it was apparently just fine in 2016 when Trump won. This is on par with the whole "landslide" criterion, when Trump called his 2016 win a landslide but then minimized his loss by nearly the same margin in 2020.
🤭

That's my hope too. We've been at a point where there's a desire for a bit of a change outside of the old guard in both parties, and while some thought it was more important to remain unified behind Biden for the 2020 election, they might not have the same motivation to do so in 2024.
The only mistake biden made was picked kamala harris as vp. He should have picked a true heir apperent. I don’t think it’s her

Yeah, for me that was never in doubt given the consistent pattern of power shifts in Congress; what will be more telling are the margins. If the GOP wins big in the House then that might be more indicative of people's displeasure with Democrats and Biden than if the margins are much slimmer. Time will tell.

it looks like you may have more money in your bank account but it looks like all he did that for is so he can get his low IQ followers to " contribute " to his legal fund aka slush fund and maybe his campaign
just another fund he can draw cash from and maybe nobody will notice
Have a nice day

I didn't think so back then. Her performance during the run up to the primaries wasn't inspiring; I preferred Warren in that role.

He also boosts that obama in 12 getting 4 million votes less than 08 is a victory for the gop. You can’t make up that type of bias.

Trump had the worst results of any president in us history

This I completely agree with. He had a lot of better choices for the heir apparent.

So if you liked most of Trump policies then why the hatred of him, does personality and rhetoric really matter?
Yes, to people who have a moral compass personality and their actions matter as much or more than policy. Basically, what you write over and over again is that you're OK with Trump lying, stealing, murdering Americans so long as his "policies" align with mine. Isn't that what Germans who followed Hitler used to say? No difference really, just not as extreme with Trump but still evil, wrong and morally bankrupt. Plus, shouldn't the President of the United States be a moral example to Americans and the world? Except for Nixon, all other modern American Presidents were, especially your heroes, JFK and Reagan. Do you think that their standing in history would be what it is if they behaved like Trump?

HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
there were OVER 79,000 people in NYC ALONE that got it in the first 28 days 79,000
what was COMO and the mayor of NYS suppose todo?
Let it run wild and maybe it would have been a million or so in another month?
Is that what your saying they should have done instead of shutting the city down.?
AND as for the Hospital ship have you ever read the restrictions they had on that to be used
Have a nice day
I am done with you

Personally, I did not pick Biden in the primary.

But enough people thought he was the safe option or something that he won it and thus was the only viable non-Trump option.
At this point I'm not sure how many democrats still think he was the best option, and I'm not convinced he'll win the primary in 2024.

But he and/or his team know this too, so from my perspective this is a good thing - he has to try and accomplish more of the stuff he ran on in order to recover some support.
Safe for whom, the liberal elites? It is amazing to me how results don't matter but rhetoric and personality do.

Personally he was somewhere around 6th place on my list of preferred candidate options in 2020.

I think the more establishment democrats wanted him, as an attempt to continue the pre-Trump status quo without significant changes.

But it is very possible that is just my bias against establishment Democrats talking.

Guess I will never understand in a very tough world with a lot of evil how personality and rhetoric trump policies and results. You won't get the left doing anything but placing blame, never accepting the reality that states and local governments were responsible for implementing Covid policies and The President's role was to provide support which he did through the fly restrictions, supporting the pandemic declaration and stimulus for the 26 million Americans unemployed, project warp speed which the left ignored just like they ignored the 2017-2019 results. I felt safer knowing Trump was in charge of foreign policy compared to how I feel with Biden and the true role of the Federal Gov't is Providing for the Common defense and PROMOTING domestic welfare(not providing it)

After the 2020 primaries, Biden was the only feasible option to avoid the dangers I and many others saw in a continued Trump presidency.

I actually think that Biden is FAR better (or at least his team is) on foreign policy.

Yes, I like spending my own money on my family and on the charities of my choice not funding liberal bureaucrats to spend it for me.
You're acceptance of bribes from Trump as payment to overlook all of his massive failures is well documented.
You cannot point to a Trump policy that hurt you nor can you deny the Trump results his first three years in office so what do you do??
First 3 years? So you leave football games after 3 quarters and ignore what caused you to be on the losing team?

50 ways that Trump hurt me and my fellow Americans and I could provide you with hundreds of other ways. It's time you stop cutting and pasting your sorry, tired refrain about "how has Trump hurt you and your family" and ignore when a plethora of posters show you how Trump hurt us. Are you so blind or prejudiced that you can't accept the truth when presented to you and instead choose to cut and paste your propaganda?
