Of course...guns. It would be the same if the kids had a knife or a baseball bat. The issue is the threat and nobody on the anti-gun side EVER considers why these criminals feel a need to threaten innocent people. You're absolutely right. Getting rid of so many firearms on our streets and in public hands would help reduce crime too.

How right you are. Look at those countries and how they label speech and thought they oppose hate. The people who push gun control only want the government to have guns.
How well did that work out in Soviet Russia, Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, Communist China, Pol Pot's Kampuchea, and pretty much every other oppressive form of government in history?
I grew up watching lots of shoot'em-up cowboy movies. While fun to watch, I remember thinking I'm so glad I don't live in that kind of society anymore, but instead in modern civil societies.
Oh well, I guess I was wrong...
Standard. So then you should have no problems with nukes on sale at Walmart. Knives, baseball bats, guns, nukes.... whatever. the tool isn't what really matters, right? It's just about the people.
And his dying words are, "Honey, I knew you'd need diapers for our baby, and I was trying my best to find work, but no one would hire a guy with a tattoo of the devil on his forehead. I will see you in heaven darling" as his eyes close and he breathes his final breath to her sobbing "Why! Why him??"Sadly, the "gangster lifestyle" has been perpetuated in movies and music for quite some time. Almost "romantically" picturing the gangsters dying in a hail of gunfire, as often as not with some beautiful girl crying over them as they pass away in their arms.
Crime should not be romanticized. Gangs should not be romanticized. Bring back romanticizing the good guys who only use guns as a last resort against the bad guys who use guns to take from, and/or harm others with intent.
?? I've made no excuses whatsoever. None. You asked a question - I answered it! You wrote ....Excuses do not fly with me. Two wrongs do not make a right.
Acknowledged. I appreciate your discomfort in answering.I don’t care what Trump said as it has nothing to do with the thread.
Oh brother. Keep on with your “capital punishment” nonsense.Acknowledged. I appreciate your discomfort in answering.
What do we do with people who break the law. Not enough police to be everywhere, and would you want that if there were? We now effectively have a catch and release program. Criminals go back on the street and accost people again because they didn't get a penalty stiff enough to stop them. Are you suggesting you have a different solution to keep people from harming others? Do tell!
I cannot fathom a response from a poster that we have "The Law" to keep people from breaking the law (harming others). What do we do with people who break the law. Criminals go back on the street and accost people again because they didn't get a penalty stiff enough to stop them.
If it takes shooting the people to protect those they harm, then I'm OK with that.
So then you should have no problems with nukes on sale at Walmart.
Don't they have anything newer?Damn Wal-Mart always has "Little Boy" on back order.
??WHA...?? You think shooting a car thief makes us safer?!? On what planet does that happen?
I guess there's no sense in asking you about whether or not the punishment should fit the crime. Too complicated a question for you.
13 year olds out stealing cars and pulling out a gun. SMH I do have to feel bad they were shot because they are very much children who obviously have no positive role models in their lives but hopefully this can be a wake up call to those young boys to straighten up their lives.
When there were riots in Mayor Dick Daley's Chicago, he instructed cops to shoot to wound thieves and shoot to kill arsonists. By the way, he was a prominent Democrat.??WHA...?? You think shooting a car thief makes us safer?!? On what planet does that happen?
I guess there's no sense in asking you about whether or not the punishment should fit the crime. Too complicated a question for you. As Trump's biggest fanboy, I'm sure you were tickled to hear him say he'd have the National Guard shoot shoplifters. There's a country you'd delight in living in.
In Trumpistan, everyone found guilty of stealing diapers and baby food would be sentenced to death.
OK. So you're a vigilante. Define "harm".What do we do with people who break the law. Not enough police to be everywhere, and would you want that if there were? We now effectively have a catch and release program. Criminals go back on the street and accost people again because they didn't get a penalty stiff enough to stop them.

I remember Daley. I hitchhiked into Chicago back in his day. When there were riots in Mayor Dick Daley's Chicago, he instructed cops to shoot to wound thieves and shoot to kill arsonists. By the way, he was a prominent Democrat.

D U H !
Is that too difficult for you to wrap your mind around? We have laws that keep people from harming others.
Are you suggesting you have a different solution to keep people from harming others? Do tell!

I got Fat Man for my brother-in-law for Xmas.
I got an ICBM with MIRVs for my Uncle Achmed.
Oh shit...it was supposed to be a surprise.
We didnt need that, bro in law stays pretty local. Just pop and drop.
Seriously, I looked and looked the other day at Walmart, and can't find anything that costs 85 million dollars. What to do? I don't want my brother to think I'm a cheapskate come his birthday.
Has a gun been found? Last I read only the shooter claims to have seen it.Why do you keep ignoring the "armed" part when it comes to the kids?
