'Turned out the lights': Fury hits Washington Post as it refuses to run $115K anti-Musk ad

I don't know if you've look recently, but the employees of that paper are rebelling.

Spineless cockroach Bezos is going to lose his ass. He deserves nothing less.
How does someone with $227 billion net worth "lose his ass"?
Have you had experience losing billions of dollars?

Here's the ad
Musk's approval of 36% aligns very closely with the number of hard core MAGAs in America. No where near the majority of Americans.

Unless congress has a major change of heart, Musk isn't going anywhere. They are enabling him.

You wrote: "I knew American democracy would not survive Trump. I am amazed at how quickly it is slipping away from us and how little resistance to this there actually is."

According to you we have already failed as a democracy.
Just six weeks into a new presidency? That must be a world record.
You don't have faith in our Constitution or in a duly elected president.
I hope you survive until the next Progressive gets lucky and maybe finds another DEI running mate.

Take the Chicken Little award and wear it proudly.
Most of the legal scholars are all in agreement. Once Trump started ignoring court rulings, our democracy is failing, and we are in a constitutional crisis. He has refused to comply with at least three court orders that we know of.

So you can't come up with a reason to sue him? Got it.

Right now, the employees of that paper are rebelling.

That publication has lost 100,000 subscribers.

Bezos is losing his ass on that paper because he has Trump's wang in his mouth.

I love your dubious belief: "Most of the legal scholars are all in agreement."
Did you find a poll somewhere which includes most of the legal scholars."?

I'd love to see it.

Of course you are the anti-Donald. You should wear a tee shirt to that effect like Elon.

As your favorite president, Obama, once said: "Elections have consequences".
Live with it. Only four more years to go.

He is correct.

Dump is ignoring court orders and that is an issue.

And I hear he is really worried about losing money on The Post.
Just like Elon is worried about losing money on X.

Bezos didn't care about losing tens of billions to his wife over their divorce.
Why should he worry about a newspaper losing money?
That's small potatoes.

Eventually, those dollars add up.

Bezos will always be a spineless coward. That is a given.

In 2027, when Trump gets impeached, count on the ball prick to change the policy back.

You love using that word 'impeachment'. I don't think it means what you think it means. (to paraphrase Inigo Montoya from "Princess Bride".)
Even if the Dems win the House, they still will need 67 Senators to convict Trump.
If not, it will be like all of the other impeachment proceedings in our history - no conviction and removal from office.
What is the point of you using that word "impeachment"?

Trump wasn’t involved in this, thus needs no defense.
Read what I posted again. This time go slow.

I said, "ORANGE BALL-JUGGLING BALD PRICK".

I was not referring to Trump. I was referring to Bezos. The orange balls belong to Trump, and they are currently housed on Bezos' chin.

Bezos is... ******SHOCK******* BALD!

You had to get the “ORANGE BALL-JUGGLING” in there to try to implicate Trump, otherwise (without government involvement) there could be no ‘justification’ for your previous (ridiculous) 1A reference.

He censored free speech to help Musk.

This is a 1st Amendment violation.

Nonsense. There is no law that requires news media to publish any and all information readers might want to read. That is not a violation of the First Amendment. Free speech does not equate to "compelled" speech. If Mr. Bezos doesn't want his media outlets to publish a story, that is his right as a business owner.

The story can still be published, even if it's just by some nerd with a copy machine who ends up being the only one.

It PERMANENTLY discredits any media outlet he has a stake in.

Maybe, and maybe not. News media often publish a lot of trash, propaganda, and clearly biased nonsense. IMO most news media has already been discredited by the openly partisan ways "news" is presented.

1. I know what it means.
2. 50 bonus points for the Princess Bride reference.

At this point, there are some republicans who will turn on Trump.

Trump will be impeached for a 3rd time and will not be allowed to run again.

No, I didn't.

I stated (without stating it) that Trump's orange balls were sitting on Bezos' chin. Bezos did what he did to curry favor with (and avoid pissing off) the orange shit stain.

This is evidenced by the fact that Bezos had dinner with Trump right after he made the changes we're unhappy with. Ask yourself... WHY would Bezos have dinner with Trump?

There is no "maybe not" about it. Bezos juggled the orange balls on his chin and prevented people from expressing themselves. That discredits any publication he is involved in.

We now know he is a Trump ball juggler.
