Tulsi Gabbard to report for active duty in Indonesia for 2 weeks

It's fine for Eisenhower to say that after his career as a military man and his success getting elected based on his military career but its just a political statement. That's all.

You seem to think that he was pandering and don't think that Eisenhower sincerely belived that?

Dood spent more time in the Chicago bathhouses than the state house. like his time in the senate he accomplished precisely squat. He voted present on moist legislation that would have required he take a stand on important issues. He was never a professor or even an adjunct. He was a lecturer. The closest he came to 'teaching' constitutional law was lectures given on the Constitution as it pertains to race. He was unpublished which is unheard of.

Obama was unqualified to hold the office. Biden actually described him best...a clean..articulate, well spoken black man...and that was good enough to win him the presidency and reelection.

Bath houses? Moist legislation?

From UC Law School. I suspect they have a better handle on what he did while working for them than you do.

UC Law School statement: The Law School has received many media requests about Barack Obama, especially about his status as "Senior Lecturer." From 1992 until his election to the U.S. Senate in 2004, Barack Obama served as a professor in the Law School. He was a Lecturer from 1992 to 1996. He was a Senior Lecturer from 1996 to 2004, during which time he taught three courses per year. Senior Lecturers are considered to be members of the Law School faculty and are regarded as professors, although not full-time or tenure-track. The title of Senior Lecturer is distinct from the title of Lecturer, which signifies adjunct status. Like Obama, each of the Law School’s Senior Lecturers have high-demand careers in politics or public service, which prevent full-time teaching. Several times during his 12 years as a professor in the Law School, Obama was invited to join the faculty in a full-time tenure-track position, but he declined.

Yep true. Going to Iraq and Kuwait was her idea of vacation.

LOL, yep she's a softie. Tell me again where Kamala Harris was sleeping while Tulsi Gabbard was deployed. Willie Brown's?

She's in the National Guard. She's going to summer camp.

Do you know how to post anything other than ignorant posts.

Gabbard served at Logistical Support Area Anaconda in Iraq, completing her tour in 2005.

The area was nicknamed "Mortaritaville", because of a high frequency of incoming mortars, at times every day, from Iraqi insurgents.

That's some summer camp. :doh

I'm sorry? Why do you think I care about Kamala? Willie? This is about Tulsi and nobody else. But your deflection has been noted though.

She was a REMF. So what? She was in the state legislature when she enlisted. Joining the NG was a political stunt.

You think she's attending drill every month? That would be something if she's been getting paid for drills that she isn't attending.

I don't know, that's why I asked. She wouldn't be the first politician that was excused from duty while they served in congress.

Tulsi Gabbard is just white noise in a very diluted field of unqualified candidates.

She needs to to remove herself from the race, and take about 20 more with her.

Too much at stake to be playing stupid games.

She's also not Hillary - the audacity!

I mean really: how DARE people run who aren't empty suit corporate slime like Harris, Biden, Warren and almost the entire Donkey field?

If so much was/is at stake, you shouldn't have supported a candidate as repulsive/sociopathic as Clinton in 2016.

Now you'll have Trump until 2025.

Oh well.

I would vote for her because I want to kiss a President of the US.

Why would you have a problem with that if it's true? Trump does many things for a political stunt and it works beautifully. It's what politicians do.

I am nostalgic for the last republican POTUS who wasn't a warmonger. He was intimately aware of the military and its cost in human lives.

Trump's no Ike, but despite Democrat pressure to start World War III, he's proven admirably reluctant to do so.

I admit to having to side-eye Tulsi Gabbard from the start. It was nothing specific, I just had a sense that something about her wasn't quite right. Maybe it's the way she speaks, she's almost robotic. But then I read more about her and decided she doesn't fit into this race at all. I think she's doing it strictly to get a particular agenda across to people and that agenda doesn't really fit in with U.S. foreign policy, as a matter of fact it's entirely inconsistent with U.S. foreign policy.

Tulsi Gabbard Thinks We’re Doomed - The New York Times

[snip]The threat from Russia is severely exaggerated, Ms. Gabbard says. Do not beat the drums of war with Iran. Make nice with North Korea.

She flew to Syria in 2017 and had what seemed to be a friendly meeting with Bashar al-Assad, shocking her colleagues in Congress, and voted against a House resolution condemning the dictator’s war crimes. More recently, she said Mr. Assad was “not the enemy of the United States.”[/snip]

How man men or women serving in Congress is allowed to fly to Syrian for a face to face 'friendly' meeting with Bashar al-Assad -- one of the most ruthless dictators and human rights abuser in the Middle East? In 2017, al-Assad was dropping chlorine gas bombs on his own civilians. Remember the little boy in the ambulance in Aleppo? He was injured by an air strike by al-Assad's air force. That incident came to the attention of the public in 2017 also. Tulsi Gabbard claims she went on a ‘fact-finding’ mission in support of ‘peace’ for Syrian people, but characterized US-backed rebels as ‘terrorists’.

The U.S.has no diplomatic relations with Syria. Gabbard’s trip raised alarms over a potential violation of the Logan Act, a federal statute barring unauthorized individuals from conferring with a foreign government involved in a dispute with the US. The US currently has no diplomatic relations with Syria.

It's all pretty stinky to me and I'd never even consider her a logical candidate for any party.

She's an admirable Democrat (!!!!) who opposes World War III.

She needs to continue being trashed as Assad's dirty slut by Putin's puppets in the MSM and Democrat Party.

Ike was arguably our greatest president; truly a man to be admired.

You seem to think that he was pandering and don't think that Eisenhower sincerely belived that?

It's ridiculous to suggest Ike was anything but honorable.

He worked incredibly hard to prevent our two criminal terror strikes on Japan as well.

Unsuccessful, alas.

Extraordinary man.

What war are you convinced Democrats are trying to start? You have made this same confusing claim on more than one occasion.

Number III, as stated.

The plutocrats - who own the Democrats - want a massive distraction & reset.

Plus they love death and destruction.

That's admirable, but her military experience and six years in the House do not remotely qualify her to be President.

Unlike a sociopathic reality TV show host

oh that's just hysterical. :lamo You're trying to take the narrative of 'Putin's puppet' that has been used exclusively to describe Donald Trump for the past 3 years and turn it around to the Democratic Party. :lamo
