It's the feds.

It's what they do.

Literally how they do their jobs.

There's a reason the feds have an almost perfect conviction rate and its almost all pleas.

I've seen a couple of this guys threads and figuring out our legal system is the least of his problems....Rob has a hard time with reality so he lets Fox News (Trump propaganda machine) dictate it for him..

The poster is not the topic of discussion. So how about addressing what he made the topic about. Sweating Manafort.


As for sweating Manafort?
I doubt Manafort is worried about that or that he has anything to flip on.

Though he may take a plea to get it over quicker thinking it is likely Trump will either commute or pardon.

My question is why all of these people are worried about a man who has broken so many laws it takes two trials to cover them all. Manafort can only turn on Trump if Trump has broken the law. So if it is as Trump says, no collusion, no obstruction, then why should Fox News, the GOP and even Trump worry about what Manafort says?

Thanks - and some good points there. Trump can indeed pardon, though of course it would give the anti-Trump media another nothingburger to rant about for months.

The point about sweating someone is often so they confirm some false claim for you.

"Just say Trump made you do this, or told you that, and we'll make all this go away."
"No, I ain't gonna do that."
"Suit yourself, but now look what's going to happen to your family..."

"Okay, okay, I'll do it. Just leave them the hell outta this."

I am a law and order type of guy. If Manafort committed crimes then he needs to pay dearly for those crimes. If he cooperates with law enforcement and tells them what he knows he might be able to reduce his sentence. If not then he needs to go to jail if guilty like anyone else caught committing a crime. We all need to cheer when justice is being served.

No one but Putin can confirm the golden shower thing. But Manafort is privy to everything Russian and knows what Trump knows about it too.

Unless Putin witnessed such an act he can not confirm it happened.
If it happened (and that is a big if), the supposed girls involved could confirm.
If it happened (and that is a big if), the maid could confirm wet sheets.

Oh I think Manafort is sweating pretty hard right about now. If he REALLY trusted a lawyer hinting at a pardon he would have plead long ago. But Guiliani screwed that pooch when he dismissed another lawyer's statements about Trump not dictating the Kushner response as this is why you have lawyers speak, to disavow any statements found out to be outright lies.... :roll:

I do believe Manafort doesn't trust Trump and until Trump says pardon Manafort ain't diving on any sword (I also don't see Manafort as ever taking one for the team) I also don't think Manafort believes Trump (he lies way too much way too often) so unless a written contract for a pardon is signed I think Manafort eventually ends up flipping.

Sacrifice for others just doesn't seem to be in any of these guy's make-up... :peace
