Trump's North Korea Policy Is Falling Apart aka A FAILURE

Dude! I gave you your "win" points.

Enjoy the glow for awhile!

And I gave you confirmation that you can soon cheer on Trump again after he takes a ****. Enjoy it!

I cheered nothing. I always figured that Kim would fail to deliver but it was worth the effort just in case he could be made to see the light.

That's not what Trump said. Trump said Kim was trustworthy and that they are no longer a nuclear threat. Seems you are admitting Trump is a liar, good for you.

Obama couldn't get it right because his entire worldview and his understanding of the US was dictated by his youth where he was mentored by a Communist and then hanging around with domestic terrorists like Bill Ayers. Obama sees America as the problem. That's why he was a weakling and a failure.

Trump can't get anything right because his entire worldview and understanding is dictated by his slick, conman persona and dominated by his egomania. Plus, who's trying to make friends with all the Commies? That seems to be Trump. Trump sees America as the Chump. That is why he does his best to take advantage and to leave things in shambles. He doesn't care about the US, he cares about Trump.

Another deflection, that's all you have with Trump's NK failure.

I've already addressed NK. You said we'd cheer Trump taking a dump so I reminded you of the cult of personality surrounding Obama.

I wouldn't call it lying as much as wishful thinking. I'm not here to defend everything Trump says or tweets and that is not the issue. The issue was whether the effort was a worthwhile one. If we only did things that were guaranteed to be successful, we wouldn't do anything.

Well, I must say it looks like you have chalked up a win. Congratulations!
If it all goes to hell, we will have one more nuclear adversary pointing nukes our way with China on the button to get the trade concessions it needs to plunder your economic world. I don't feel very "win like", but that's just me. MAGA and all that ****.
Hopefully, Kim can get sold on the "Vietnam Miracle", and will pay less attention to China. But I'm not holding my breath.
If you are true winners, the talks will disintegrate and we will be back where we started, but this time more sanctions will be levied on China, too.
Maybe you will win the trifecta and shooting will start! Yipeeeee for youuuuu...!

When our president is a total dip**** that fails at every foreign policy maneuver he attempts, we all lose, so I'm not sure why you think that's magically a win for me.

As one of the more rational of the bunch, how is it you guys get so divorced from the real world of flesh and bone, and the blood and guts of war, that you fail to see the gravity of the threats facing is. Right now, the world's military forces are facing each other off playing chicken with loaded guns with real consequences when someone makes a serious miscalculation. Yet here it is all distilled down into sound bites as if somehow if the **** hits the fan, it won't hit you.

As Winston Churchill said, "jaw jaw is better than war war".

I guess I'm just a whuss.

Yea, we need more "victories" like the Iran deal. I especially liked the pallets of cash flown over in secret all while the Iranians cheered "Death to America". Yes, a proud moment.

You do know that was their money. Right?

Of course you don't.

Of course you don't.

You know that was money paid to the US by the Shah for military equipment, right? Then, the Shah was overthrown by the Mullahs before the equipment was delivered. I guess if Weimar Germany had paid for something and then the Nazis took over, you'd suggest we should give the money back to the Nazis.

Hey, did you sing Hmm...hmmm...hmm...Barack Hussein Obama! yet today?:2razz: The only people who have demonstrated messiah like worship are the lunatic left with Obama. He was their god.
Please, you guys are more cultish than Heavens Gate.

Ah, eh, MAGA ... BLAM! Eh, aye, oh.

Please, you guys are more cultish than Heavens Gate.

Let me know when young school children are being coached to sing to Dear Leader. The only things missing were green tunics, caps and the little red book.

You can try and warn them until you're blue in the face, it will never work.

They are cultists, which makes them incapable of being reached by reason.

Because you cannot stomach the idea of Trump being successful at anything.

Let me know when young school children are being coached to sing to Dear Leader.
And that teacher was promptly fired.

Let me know when you guys show such principle.

It's not that we can't, he just isn't, which causes us to go down with him.

That is the issue

To many people and by the looks of it Trump went into the meeting expecting a full deal would have been made and that NK would have committed to denuking based on one short meeting. NK is going to want something other than vague promises, hard guarantees and items to give up something it has spent over 20 years trying to get. Just to come close to a deal will take months if not years of negotiations, to get rid of NK's nuclear capabilities will take years on top of that, done in stages as it gets what it is promised in exchanged for getting rid of its nukes.

Going and talking in my opinion was a great idea by Trump, I disagreed with Obama's stance on not to talk to NK directly as talk is cheap and does not cost much ( when done well) but can set things up for the future. Pompeo I believe was just in NK trying to set up a time frame of 1 year for NK to get rid of nukes. That is setting things up for failure, and makes people look incompetent

I wish Trump were successful in a way that benefited the Republic. But he doesn't seem to be able to quite pull that one off.

Wrong again, it was Trump touting that he trusted Kim and that he denuclearized NK. Even Trump's fanboys were praising the "success" of ending the Korean war and denuclearizing NK on this board.

There is a reason that the US has for so long decided NOT to recognize NK and give them the world stage that they have now. Trump and his fanboys have proven themselves to be idiots of the highest order. But no, Trump wouldn't listen to anyone and all he ended up doing was get played by Kim and look like an idiot worldwide, especially with the ****ing coin he had made. Trump's ego is the problem.

Into the time machine we go...
Trump on Tuesday called North Korea's leader a "very honorable" person and expressed hope their meeting will occur "as soon as possible."

“He really has been very open and, I think, very honorable from everything we're seeing," Trump said of Kim Jong Un during a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron at the White House.

The president expressed high hopes for his meeting with the rogue leader, which could happen as soon as next month.
"So we're having very good discussions," he said. "Now, a lot of promises have been made by North Korea over the years, but they've never been in this position."

Trump's rhetoric on Kim has shifted significantly from last year, when he called the North Korean leader "Little Rocket Man" and boasted about the size of his nuclear button.

The tone was striking coming from any U.S. president.

The U.S. has blamed North Korea for ordering the execution of Kim's brother with a banned nerve agent. The reclusive government has faced persistent criticism from human-rights groups that say it starves its own citizens.

LOL. Kim got wonderful propaganda, an elevation to first world status, and a stand down re war games in the area.

Trump got the same deluded supporters that he had going in.

Hahahaha, and just a few weeks ago there were so many dip****s on here talking about Trump's big win in North Korea and how he achieved denuclearization. I swear to god the only people more idiotic and gullible than Trump are his dumbass supporters.

Won’t you just be so happy that America tried but it didn’t work out.
Hey at least we didn’t give pallets of cash to NK, thats a good thing right?

Is it over yet, aren’t they still negotiating?

Ah the Trump Defense Syndrome is strong here today from his supporters with worthless deflections from Trump's failures with NK.
