A Washington Post/ABC News poll released Sunday showed Mr. Trump trailing Mrs. Clinton, the Democratic nominee, by just 4 points, 47 percent to 43 percent — a margin that is relatively unchanged from a similar poll taken ahead of the first presidential debate.

That suggests the fallout from a 2005 “Access Hollywood” tape, in which the mogul speaks about women in lewd terms, and accusations of groping were largely offset by a string of leaked emails that portray Mrs. Clinton’s campaign in an unflattering light.

I think (if the poll is at all valid) that it reflects public backlash at the clear bias in reporting people are experiencing from the MSM.

I think people will believe what they want to believe, right now the Electoral College votes are going to go to Hillary and Trump does not look as if he is going to change that, heck he has to have Florida and he is not doing well there. But hey there is still a couple of weeks to go and until then people can still pretend their desired outcome is going to come true.
 
An 11 point lead for Clinton. And this line was special...

Given the fact that the Washington Post's editorial board has surprised no one and endorsed Clinton, the poll here doesn't seem to be politically biased. You're right about many people in this country feeling as though the MSM were in the bag for Hillary this whole time. This may be the election where liberals attempts at relaxing morality standards finally bites them in the ***.

Personally I'm not paying attention to any polls anymore. I'm just using math, 2+2. In 2012 Romney lost because he did very bad with the younger women, Hispanics and the Black vote. Every study, even Republican studies and reports pointed to these 3 demos as the reason Romney lost. This year Trump is CERTAIN to do worse with those 3 demos.

Simple math tells me unless there's some sort of catastrophic event between now and Nov., Trump has no chance.

Not only lose those demographics, but lose big. He cant be getting creamed by blacks, by Hispanics, by women, by millennials, not have the full support of his own party and be within ten points of Hillary.

WikiLeaks released emails from Clinton staffers who wrote in 2008 about investigating if Obama had sufficient ties to Islam to paint him as a Muslim in the press.

If Clinton staffers were going to pull the same stunt against Trump by exploiting something that the public would possibly believe, it would undoubtedly involve sex.

Let's all hope that Podesta was as careless about assassinating Trump's character as he was when he schemed against Obama. Could you imagine a WikiLeaks on November 1 proving that Hillary paid Trump's accusers to lie? :mrgreen:

They take the poll that Trump is doing the best in, which he is still down by 4 points (hint: not striking distance), and then claim it's close while ignoring that most polls have him down by double digits. The RCP average is 6.9 points and 538 gives him a less than 12% chance to win.

Unless there is a drastic change Clinton is going to win easily.

And that NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll they mentioned is even worse.


I don't know if Trump is within striking distance...and nobody else does either if they believe what these alphabet news orgs tell them.

That's funny to me, given that Trump is the candidate that has been consistently against military intervention and Hillary is the one that may very well take us to war, again. Not that I'm voting for Trump either, and I assume you're referring to Trump's unstable persona as your motivation, I just find it funny that this would be your reasoning for not voting for him given the facts in evidence about Hillary and her war hawk history and current stances.

If you were paying attention, you would know that they didn't just "happen" to surface "spontaneously"....they surfaced because of Trumps flat out lies about engaging in the kind of conduct that he was bragging about. It wasn't just a spontaneous coincidence.
