Trump Will Deploy 800 National Guard Troops Within D.C. To Combat Lawlessness - Is It Really Needed?

Is Deploying the National Guard within the District of Columbia really necessary?

  • Yes - crime is rampant in D.C., and the 800 N.G. troops are needed

  • No - the deployment is purely theatrics and authoritarianism

What I want is for Trump win.
  • With lowering crime in blue cities;
  • with drilling for more fossil fuels to give us an edge against Russia;
  • with the continuing deportation of illegal aliens;
  • with investments in powerful AI tools like advanced semiconductors;
  • with lower interest rates that helps spur investments in critical technologies;
  • with ever-mounting pressure against bullshit DEI programs that discriminate against non-black students; and
  • with keeping out Chinese students that come into our universities to learn advanced technical subjects and then return to China to use that advanced technology against us.
 
Smells like Fascism. I don't have a problem with cracking down on illegal behavior. But when the President has to make a video and act like a child showing his mommie the crayon drawing of a dog and a cat with green grass waiting for validation and a kiss, it proves it's all about him. It's not about the people. Trump is using force to step on local law enforcement, and claims it was his idea to send US Troops armed with automatic weapons into the streets. Solution is direct FBI resources to partner with state and local authorities to co-operate in a task. The problem is attempting to federalize the policing for thirty days and hoping congress writes a fat check ( Spend, Spend Spend ) on more militarization to strip freedom from US citizens. That is what I have been telling you about Trump’s actions. The more power he consolidates the more chance it will be used against all of us at his personal whim. We are in this together and our self interest dictates that we keep the powers of the president limited as was intended in our republican form of government. We have three branches for a reason and the Congress is where the people are represented, not in the person of any president. He is falsely claiming that everything is an emergency to invoke ongoing powers that the presidency doesn’t really hold. These powers should be used as intended, as a means to act quickly during real emergencies. He is abusing statutes meant to provide temporary power in very limited circumstances to act as if the president is a dictator rather than a concerned leader of our country.

The question is one of crime statistics, not how individuals feel about crime. We can’t constantly poll people for their feelings about crime as a means to run our law enforcement agencies. We use statistics. Law enforcement is not about overreaction to worse case scenarios.

So poor Trump can’t help himself. The mean Democrats hurt this great man and made him cynical and now he has no choice but to do this. Now he has no choice but to manipulate statistics to make himself look good. What a poor victim he is. So much potential ruined by the mean old Democrats. The democrats have attacked him relentlessly since the 2016 elections. Such attacks do tend to change people. Consider the fact at how well he survived the demonrats.

All of his business career, he has been lied about. Most certainly not a model businessman, but constantly slandered. Some things deserved, most not.

They the left, is too damn stupid as a whole, to understand why people on the right will grudgingly support him, or better. Absolute stupidity on the left.
