Haven't you learned by not not to take anything the media asbliteral when they only use snippets? He could have specified violent or something else one time, and the media can omit it giving an incorrect context. The media frequently gives incorrect narratives to snippets.

Without the full context, expect the media is lying as a default.

I've never said that. I haven't ever put anything past Trumpolini to do or try to get away with.

Trump-Miller are trying workarounds to the fact there is no federal martial law in the USA.

Specifically Noem published something yesterday saying the federalized CA National Guard and active duty Marines deployed to LA need to ignore Posse Comitatus and arrest anybody they think looks like an immigrant.

This is not happening nor is it going to happen because the military chiefs and commanders know it is illegal and unconstitutional. Noem shows no indication of challenging the military in the courts of law or in any other MAGA or conventional way. Neither is Trump trying to push this. He left it to Noem instead who is a big bust on it. Noem is in fact a big bust on everything she tries and does.

i wasn't necessarily criticizing your post, just pointing out that while you may be legally correct, that means nothing to trump.

And I replied that I haven't ever put anything past Trump to do or try to get away with in his obsession to become dictatortyrant over all the land and against his political opposition that He calls His "enemies within."

Your presumption that I need to know that the law and the Constitution mean nothing to the Generalissimo Trump misses my history of posting entirely. All the same I look forward to continuing our posting relationship and interaction as generally I find your posts to be worth reading and considering.

They should give every solider the day off. No stupid flyovers or parades of ships of whatever like the 200th anniversary- just cut the working guys and gals and non binaries a break.
 
How Republicans spin this as non fascist is beyond me. We the people should have nipped this in the bud when Bush rolled out free speech zone requirements. We failed that test.
