Let me ask you directly, you know trump's history, you know he's gone bankrupt several times and brags about being 'the king of debt', why would you want a person like him in charge of making monetary decisions for America? Why? You can try to deflect like you already have by saying it's not trump, correct, it's one of his brain trusts and of course it's secretive. Trump wants to be a dictator, put him in charge of our money and voila, you have Donald Putin.

I think the We the People should have a say in the Federal Reserve and our money by our government. Right now the rich and powerful are in control of our money with We the People having no say whatsoever.
Not a bad idea.

We do. The Senate confirms the Fed chair and ensures oversight. All Fed profits except a few % go to the treasury.

Rich and powerful billionaires (like Trump) are currently in charge of our money. It would be nice if We the People had a representative from our government to make our opinion heard on how our money should be handled.

I can't believe the number of people, who call themselves American, would be okay with the Donald dictating every nook and cranny of the US government.

They, appearantly, want to put the US right up there with Trump Steak, Trump Vodka, Trump University, Trump Sneakers, Trump Casinos, Trump Trading Cards, Truth Social. All thriving, successful businesses, making money, hand over fist. We could even re-brand the US as "TRUMP America." (Branding is everything, right?)

Man, wouldn't that make America great again?!? And, if not, the US can always just file for bankruptcy. No worries. Right? I mean, by then. all the fat money has already been skimmed off the top and securely squirreled away in the Caymans, (or Mar-a-Lago). "Let the freakin' peasants pay that tab! Bwahahahaha!!"

Why not let the fox loose in the henhouse? What could possibly go wrong?

All that being said, the idea is so preposterous, methinks this just might be another one of those bullshit, fabricated "issues" so often put out there, just to keep the state of turmoil between fellow Americans at a controlled fever pitch.

Of course he does. I've been saying he will confiscate the U.S. Treasury among every other vile possibility. At least the polls are beginning to side with sanity. The people control the fate of this nation now more than at any other time in it's history with their vote on November 5, 2024.
