I am not on his re-election committee. The fact that this question stumps you destroys your entire position.

Damn, he was talking about selling cars from China and what would happen to the auto industry in America. How about researching some facts sometime?
You were when you believed you could hide behind a thin veil of ambiguity. The instant you couldn't explain away his quotes to tell us what he "really" meant, you went into full retreat.I am not on his re-election committee.
How certain are you that they're "normal"? We all have family members and close friends who were "normal" before they turned Trumper. It can be argued that he's inciting violence again. I'm currently having trouble with how I feel about normal people who are going to vote for him anyway.
I know a number of people both on and offline who aren't cultists but who are also obviously going to vote for him. I have an embankment between how I feel about them and how I feel about cultists. It is starting to leak. How certain are you that they're "normal"? We all have family members and close friends who were "normal" before they turned Trumper.

??? I am quoting trump exactly.See above or read some real news and not some Politico clown.
All I know is what I read. He was talking about cars and Chinese and tariffs, I think. You were when you believed you could hide behind a thin veil of ambiguity. The instant you couldn't explain away his quotes to tell us what he "really" meant, you went into full retreat.
You know you're wrong, and you know that his bloodbath statement was exactly what it sounded like.
I quoted the whole thing. You didn't. Why would that be?“When he said "If we don't win this election, I don't think you're going to have another election in this country," during the same speech, I wonder if you can tell me what cars he was talking about. Can you?”
??? I am quoting trump exactly.
I came here to say this and his worshipers are all trying to explain it as out of context it’s like no it’s not out of context there is no rational explanation for calling another person not a real personThat's bad enough, but something that somehow manages to be even more chilling is his comment that immigrants aren't people. This is bad because you know what you can do to not-people? Anything.
And that brings up something else: I've been saying since 2018 that Republicans don't think immigrants are human, because if they did they wouldn't have justified the family separation policy. Republicans told me this was nonsense, then Trump went ahead and said exactly what I've been saying Republicans believe.

Because I am asking about the specific sentence I quoted. This is not that hard. What did he mean? Do you really intend to argue that it was out of context? Was he talking about cars? There is no mention of cars in that sentence. Can you explain that?I quoted the whole thing. You didn't. Why would that be?
He’s talking about a metaphorical bloodbaths for autoworkers losing their jobs. Please apologize and correct this false statement“Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole — That’s going to be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country.”
This is not normal.
He is calling for violence - again.
Are you suggesting he was talking about the auto industry? I assume not. But how do you interpret his remarks, especially in light of Jan 6’s events? And of course, I have to ask, when do you think Trump will first claim fraud this year?Do we really need another thread about this?
He was in the middle of talking about the auto industry and his plan for tariffs on cars made in Mexico. While it's possible that he blurted out an unrelated truth, the plainest explanation is that he meant "a bloodbath in the US auto industry" and didn't articulate it because he was having trouble with his autocue.
"Never ascribe to malice what can be adequately explained by incompetence."
Bullshit..He’s talking about a metaphorical bloodbaths for autoworkers losing their jobs. Please apologize and correct this false statement
It’s in the speech. In full context.Bullshit..
In order to get a lightened sentence, a jailhouse informant tells police that his cellmate said he killed that man. Knowing he is a former Politico reporter, the jailer is skeptical and takes the tape to an expert and gets a call. "Hey, you know those guys in prison have all the time in the world, Right? Well, he DID say "I killed that man, but that lying Politico reporter skillfully erased the first two words of, "They say....." and the entire sentence was, "THEY SAY I killed that man."Because I am asking about the specific sentence I quoted. I made no mistake.. He said the COUNTRY.. You're a cult... You're the mistake...It’s in the speech. In full context.
Please acknowledge the truth about the speech so I know youre acting in good faith
It’s ok to apologize and admit when you’ve made a mistake
Not at all. There are things you just don't say. "Bloodbath" as a prediction/threat is improper in any context.Obviously some in the media and some on the left need a lesson in "context"
So the answer is still no, you can't explain it. Ok.In order to get a lightened sentence, a jailhouse informant tells police that his cellmate said he killed that man. Knowing he is a former Politico reporter, the jailer is skeptical and takes the tape to an expert and gets a call. "Hey, you know those guys in prison have all the time in the world, Right? Not as I read it. ("for the country") There is nothing metaphorical there, nothing about jobs, nothing about autoworkers. He is trying to instill fear, as he always does. It is a threat. Trump is a wannabe mobster. "Nice country you have there...be a shame if sometime bad happened to it. Vote for me or something bad will happen." Simple stupid fear. He’s talking about a metaphorical bloodbaths for autoworkers losing their jobs.
I said nothing that is false. Trump called for violence previously, and is is doing it again. Please apologize and correct this false statement
If Republicans actually stated what they believe they would be in jail. Not all of them but a good chuck of them. That's bad enough, but something that somehow manages to be even more chilling is his comment that immigrants aren't people. This is bad because you know what you can do to not-people? Anything.
