Trump tells Iran ‘make a deal or it’s war’

I did take the time to read it because it was an outlandish headline

Trump tells Iran ‘make a deal or it’s war’

and I doubted that Trump would ever say such a thing, so I went to your article:

Donald Trump has given Iran 60 days to agree a nuclear deal or face military action.

The US president’s demands were set out in a letter to his Iranian counterpart Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Politico reported, citing multiple sources.

Steve Witkoff, Mr Trump’s envoy, is in Oman this weekend to begin negotiations with Abbas Araghchi, Tehran’s foreign minister, the first such talks between the US and Iran in more than a decade.

Iran said on Friday it was giving the high-level nuclear talks “a genuine chance”.

In a sign of the difficult road ahead for negotiators, the White House reiterated Mr Trump’s threat on Friday, saying he wants Iran to know there will be “all hell to pay” if it does not agree to abandon its nuclear programme.

Mr Witkoff was quoted by the Wall Street Journal as saying the administration’s “red line” is to stop Iran from being able to produce a nuclear weapon and that dismantling its nuclear programme is the opening demand. But he suggested Washington would be open to “other ways to find compromise.”

The Iranian foreign ministry said on Friday the US should value the Islamic Republic’s decision to engage in talks despite what it called Washington’s “prevailing confrontational hoopla”.

“We intend to assess the other side’s intent and resolve this Saturday,” Esmaeil Baghaei, foreign affairs spokesman, said. “In earnest and with candid vigilance, we are giving diplomacy a genuine chance.”

Majid Takht-Ravanchi, Iran’s deputy foreign minister, was quoted by the semi-official news agency ISNA as saying: “Without threats and intimidation from the American side, there is a good possibility of reaching an accord.”

In his first term, Mr Trump scrapped the deal reached by the Obama administration, which would have required Iran to limit its stockpiles of enriched uranium.

The Obama deal, which was dismissed by Mr Trump and Iran hawks in Washington, would have also subjected Iran’s nuclear installations to inspection and verification.

It ends with

If the Iranian regime does not want a deal, the president will pursue alternatives.

Now then, you have seen firsthand as is everyone else seeing why the great and famous Paradoxical insists on excerpts. Here you posted a headline and logically all should presume you read it because you took the time to make a whole thread about it. NOWHERE in the article does it say anything close to what the headline says of "Lets make a deal or it's WAR! He did say military action but that is now "war" and everyone knows this because a war requires an act of Congress and targeted strikes are not war. I am only bothering to take the time to expose this article as typical of the left ALWAYS spreading fear and hate which are the top two indoctrination tactics. That aside, I also wanted to prove I was right in demanding excerpts. Had you included an excerpt everyone could see the article was just trying to get clicks.

PS. I hope this helps.

wow. Iran never talks like thatt,, maybe they will deal

The world knew Biden and Blinken were globalists and appeasers and fakers. The world also knows Trump means what he says. I doubt Iran wants to find out what he can and will do.

Means what he says lolololololol
Tariffs on... Off..up...down

And yet you whined bitterly when I pointed out the fact that the U.S. military twenty plus year later still hasn’t won in Iraq. Hmm….

The insurgency was run by Iraqi military officers from Saddam’s forces. Trying to pretend they were distinct is hilarious.

They are still standing…..far from reclaiming the land they lost ;)
That’s simply your imagination. It has no bearing on reality. As usual.

You not understanding the difference between a military and an insurgency is no one problem but your own.

Still a far cry from where Saddams government is. In fact last I checked they are still in control of some Russian territory.

Iran has offered the complete de-nuking of the ME! Including Israel of course, the only ME nation we KNOW has nukes.

You still can’t face the reality Saddam’s officers were heavily involved in each insurgency at level I see.

The Iraqis certainly aren’t. As for the Ukrainians, they never managed to take anything of note....and they
lost most of what they did take 😂

Is that assessment based on you vast military experience
It’s an assessment based on the fact the US military was defeated and humiliated by a far weaker enemy in Afghanistan.

But I get learning from its failures is something the US military doesn’t do....which is why it keeps getting its ass kicked.

The “great” American military failed in both Cuba and Mexico, much less Afghanistan.
Again that you think something that happened over 100 years ago has any bearing on modern events or similar to an event that the US military barely put any effort into is hilarious and just shows how desperate you are to defend the ineptitude of your hero’s.

Taking the capitol doesn’t matter, especially when you flail around for the next couple decades getting embarrassed by guys who don’t even have a tank to their name.
Only you think crushing your enemy in virtually every single engagement is embarrassing.

But we both know stems from your hatred of the US military not recognizing your greatness when they kicked you out of basic, not reality.

The US needs an ally. They never win on their own.
Cool story. I am not sure what you think that has to do with anything but cool none the less.
And me and would like are not the same thing.

Gee, what in the last century gives you the impression the US has improved at such warfare? Because the Afghanistan debacle unequivocally proves it hasn’t in any way, shape or form.

The US Army sent roughly ten percent of its entire strength into Mexico. Pretending it “didn’t care” is laughably ignorant.

The US military is indeed deeply inept, yes. No wonder it repeated loses between that and its refusal to learn from its failures.

Yes that often happens in an insurgency. Shocked that I have to explain this to a person with such vast military knowledge as yourself.

Still doesn’t change the fact that the US military completely destroyed the Iraqi military as a fighting force in months while Russia is still unable to claim the same in Ukraine after years and taking vastly more casualties.

But hey I know you have to defend your heroes no matter what.

Winning battles that don’t accomplish anything doesn’t impress anyone but morons.

But we both know you can’t bear to face even basic historical facts....hence why you endlessly humiliate yourself.

Well, how about it Trumpists?

This what you want?

And before you go claiming that “it’s just a negotiating tactic”.

Understand that Iran understands that The American Public, even his own supporters, will not support going to war in that region.

That is the one real bipartisan thing that exists.

Trump and Trump alone is responsible for there not being a deal in place.

And if by some miracle he does get a “deal” it will be a million times worse and useless as the one that Obama got that Fox and Republican politicians tore to shreds.

Guaranteed.

This is the ultimate self dick suck bluff.
Mother****er is still pissed off over not being able to strong-arm them last time he was President, so he's going back to try harder, and fail harder.

Shocking that you clearly didn’t know that the officers of a former regime leading an insurgency is a clear sign said regime hasn’t actually been defeated...actually , given the utter ignorance you’ve continued to display regularly, it’s not shocking at all 😂

The US military couldn’t destroy Iraqi resistance in multiple decades of trying.

It did rape and murder plenty of Iraqi civilians though in its flailing efforts to do so, on the other hand.

Gee, no wonder it failed so pathetically.

I am beginning to think that DJT wants a war simply because it will put him into the history books as America's GREATEST Leader and Defender -- well, it would in his mind anyway. Such a war against Iran will be viewed as a positive by those Americans who claim Christianity must not only reduce the influence of Islam but also to 'prove' that Christianity is needed to improve the lives of all humans.

Would an attack on Iran cause Russia to provide military aid? Iran has been selling enriched uranium to Russia for several years and the two countries have signed various commercial agreements including one in January of this year.
Looks like Donnie Boy's doubling down on all sorts of dumb in his 2.0 iteration. There's only so much military strikes are going to do in order to prevent Iran from developing these weapons.

Again there is that alternative reality you live in again.
The US military not only took control of the vast majority of the country while driving the Taliban to go hide in Pakistan in a matter of months they won virtually every single engagement.

That the US government was not willing to put in the effort to sustain that is not either embarrassing nor humiliating to the US military.

What would be humiliating is that Russian military has not been able to achieve even a fraction of that in years while taking vastly more casualties.
And what would be embarrassing is anyone trying to pretend like that wasn’t true. Like yourself.

The US military spent multiple decades supposedly in control of Afghanistan, yet couldn’t defeat the Taliban.

The Russians crushed two separate insurgencies during that exact time period.

More squealing about irrelevant battles that changed nothing on the ground. Who cares?

That the US military is too cowardly too learn from its mistakes and prefers to blame shift at all costs shows why it continues to lose wars.

The Russians not only did better in Afghanistan than the US, they’ve taken and held vast amounts of ground while supposedly shaking off losses that would have the US on its knees.

Reality. I know you and that are not in close terms but it what it is.
But then I see we are back to you claiming that virtually every single military expert in the planet is wrong and you are right. That you don’t see the stupidity in that is hilarious and I honestly feel sorry for you.

Yes 10%. Only someone desperately pushing an agenda would think that is a major effort.

And you reach that conclusion from your vast experience right? Just know that virtually every single military expert on the planet disagrees with you.

Reality: the US forces in Iraq routinely committed atrocities and were rarely, if ever, punished for them.

As shown by cases like Haditha, where not a single Marine involved went to jail.

Oh, and now we are back to caring about the supposed experts after you backpedaled away from them 😂

Ten percent of an entire army is a significant amount of troops dude. Hilarious that you can’t face that reality.

But humiliating yourself is status quo for you.
