I am not yet a supporter but will be if it comes down to Trump-Clinton. And the number 1 reason would be to keep the most corrupt, incompetent, destructive, politician out of office.

It's about that evil, evil "establishment" that parties on Wall Street, floods the country with illegal immigrants (legal ones are not much better), cynically trades with foreigners, etc, etc - in other words, about the indisputable truth that if I am dumb, drunk and miserable, it is all "their" fault - never mine. (And no, it is not just a class thing - obviously, there are plenty of Trump supporters among "highly educated" and financially (but not psychologically) secure).

"The central belief of every moron is that he is the victim of a mysterious conspiracy against his common rights and true deserts".-H.L.Mencken

In regard to my support for Donald Trump, my top reason for doing so is my support for the freedoms to make taboo speech, and to support taboo policies, without being widely demonized for it. The witch-hunt mentality against Donald Trump, and thus against those freedoms, has gotten way out of hand. Some crazed fanatics are even baselessly and slanderously comparing Trump to Hitler, as if this were the middle ages and Donald Trump were a heretic, who the fanatics slanderously call a devil-worshipper. How long will it be until people are literally burned at the stake for suggesting something as heretical as banning the immigration of muslims and/or mestizos? Donald Trump is the only one who will uphold those freedoms against the tyrannical fanatics.

So - to clarify: You think Trump is the cat's meow because he is defending our right to say publicly things that are considered ugly by the majority. But saying ugly things about him is a sign of extreme intolerance and tyrannical fanaticism? Hmm.

I am all for freedom of speech, and all against political correctness, but this guy is not running for a position of Howard Stern substitute, he is running for President of the most powerful country in the world. Other than the readiness to boldly produce verbal farts, what virtues or qualifications does he possess that fit the requirements of the office? I see none.

List 10 things but dont include "fixing Washington"?

Tells me what I need to know.

BYE.

Because that is what a lot of people want Trump to do, more than anything else, that is what we care about.

How do you imagine him - the ultimate crony capitalist, the man as arrogant as he is ignorant, oblivious of Constitution and individual rights, incapable of understanding even the simplest issues at hand - doing a systemic reform of our whole democratic system (if I understand at all what you are talking about)? OK, he could shout puerile insults at the Congress and the Supreme Court. Then what?

Obviously your evaluation contains great errors.

Nice job lying by putting words into my mouth.
I never used the word "ugly", which is subjective and meaningless when it refers to speech, nor did I use the term "extreme intolerance". The word "ugly" is YOUR word, which you use to deliberately conflate taboo and heresy with demonizing slander.

If you ask that question of the nation you will apparently find that 61% of ALL Americans think Immigration is pretty damned important.

Americans Really Don't Like Immigration, New Survey Finds - Bloomberg Business

Actually the article doesn't claim "that 61% of ALL Americans think Immigration is pretty damned important." What it does report are survey results claiming "Sixty-one percent of Americans agree that "continued immigration into the country jeopardizes the United States," according to a new poll commissioned by management consulting firm A.T. Kearney in partnership with market researcher NPD Group." Last year a Harris Pole found that 19% of Americans ranked immigration as a top issue for government to address. That's up from the 2002 result of 1%.

Immigration is how most of got here and immigrants always face resistance.

OK, let's say I am wrong about him, on all counts. What is it you expect him to do, actually, in the way of "fixing Washington"?

it's the economy, stupid. illegal immigration is an economic issue and should not be its own category.

Trump supporters aren't motivated by the issues; the vast majority of them are motivated by a desire to see those who disenfranchised them getting disenfranchised themselves. This is precisely why their support is unwavering and all efforts to dissuade them on grounds of Trump's malevolence and hypocrisy are laughable. They win either way: if Trump delivers on any of his demagoguery, they're the beneficiaries, and if he doesn't, they'll see those who patronized and marginalized them joining their ranks.

Because that is what a lot of people want Trump to do, more than anything else, that is what we care about.

How is he going to "fix Washington"? I'd like to see some specifics. Not platitudes....specifics. Where is he going to start, what are the specific "broken" items, what are the individual steps he plans to take, who will be on the team leading the project, what are the milestones, how long will it take him to "fix" it? It sounds like you're convinced he can do it, so I'm sure you have done your homework and have bought into his plan.

I am guessing that empty promises, delivered skillfully, must be the draw.

Please let me know when you are ready to put aside your feelings and start getting honest about the matter of race.

Okay I'll be honest: blacks are far more racist than whites, and whites are so concerned about appearing racist that they'll hand out every kind of advantage to blacks and then still feel guilty about not doing enough.

I cannot support Trump due to his uncaring inconsiderate attitude towards the disabled, minorities and his supporters in general.
However, bar Sanders, he is our best chance to expose the Bush-Clinton Crime Syndicate for the monster that it is.
I used to hold the belief that Hillary was the lesser of two evils between he and Clinton, but I've found out otherwise.

What was it that exposed how corrupt this system is?

On a related note, I remember on Twitter when some important guy in Saudi Arabia attacked Trump, but not Clinton or anyone else. I found that to be very telling.

They're not coming here for food stamps, despite the usual Republican lies to that effect.

They just happen to frequently collect them, but that's not WHY they come here.

Flipping the bird to the establishment, and their **** bag candidate options.

Jeopardizing the country....thats pretty damned important, wouldnt you say?

I know of no one that thinks there should be no immigration. Im sure there are some...but most fully support and embrace legal immigration. When people mention immigration as a problem, that usually pertains to the 30 million illegal immigrants and now the prospect of this administration and others bringing many thousands of improperly vetted refugees into the country.

Okay I'll be honest: blacks are far more racist than whites, and whites are so concerned about appearing racist that they'll hand out every kind of advantage to blacks and then still feel guilty about not doing enough.

If you had the choice, would you be reincarnated as a black person so you could capitalize on all those advantages?

I think the list needed another category, Not a Washington insider/not Hillery
