In Trump's press conference today, he was asked if he feared that the woman accused of recruiting most of Jeffery Epstein's known child sex victims (ages ranging from 11 to 16), might start to turn in powerful men". And for the 1st time in the HISTORY of this country, a sitting American president said "I wish her well" about an accused sex trafficker.

Trump on Ghislaine Maxwell: ‘I wish her well’. Maxwell, a friend of the late Jeffrey Epstein, has been charged with recruiting girls into a circle of sexual abuse.

Obviously, Trump might be one of those "powerful men" that Maxwell might be tempted to "turn on". And, clearly, Trump understands that as well. Hence the odd and awkward signal he sent to her. It's almost the exact same thing Trump did when Michael Cohen was arrested...and when Roger Stone was arrested....and when Paul Manafort was arrested.

Americans are embarrassed about our current President. The last 3.5 years have been featured so much corruption and incompetence, and so many disgraceful rhetoric and behavior from this president that it will take a generation for the U.S. to regain its reputation and standing in the world.

The ONLY people who are proud of this president are his White Nationalist and/or Evangelical base.

It's very simple. He doesn't want her saying what she knows that can hurt him, so he says nice things to her. That's all he knows. It's why he protects all the people who have information that can hurt him and hide it, while he attacks those, like Cohen, his niece, Bolton, Vindman, and many others who tell the truth.

In a trial yes, which is coming. It is however an undeniable fact that she helped procure children as prostitutes for Eppstein.

Has the lady been convicted yet? Last I checked she hasn't. I am asking a simple question, thats it. Is she innocent until proven otherwise? You and I have very little idea what has actually occurred? There has been no trial. This is a far cry from defending a convicted trafficker. Even you should be able to discern that fact.

You're doing this because you want to defend Trump and to you it is completely irrelevant if she's guilty or not. He should not be wishing someone well who's being tried by authorities for child sex trafficking. Look at what you're choosing defend because of your love of Trump.

The international reputation and standing of the US as leader of the free world were already pretty badly damaged by the Bush Jr/Dick Cheney years. Trump was just the final shot to the head, execution style.

Uh huh. Trump was good friends with Eppstein, a child pimp, and now he's praising Eppstein's procurer who is currently being federally prosecuted for those crimes.

The problem is you don't actually care if they did those things or not, they're not deal breakers for you and Trump. If and when Maxwell is found guilty you'll make up more excuses because you put Trump over even basic morality. Totally scummy, you can't even agree Trump shouldn't be praising child traffickers.
