Trump says Iran and Israel agree to a ceasefire

In the event of long-lasting success (TBD) it could result in your comments being totally irrelevant to the success of the military action.
RTBS - remains to be seen.

We must just carry on with faith in a politician
and his plan despite any problems and issues we see in the plan now
because one day, that politician's plan just might just work out.

More nonsense. Are you for a lasting ceasefire or not? Yes or no?

If not, you could join Al Green's side. It's clear he needs some friends after today's impeachment vote. Lol
Doubling down with nothing else to say.

You might have been better served with an actual rebuttal, but perhaps you know your limitations. If so, kudos on that self awareness.
:)

Ah. Sure, that would be a landmark peace deal. The question is how it gets there given the massive chasm between both countries. I'd love to have world peace and zero conflicts, but what one wants versus what's achievable are two different things. Now with increased animosity between Iran and Israel, that seems father apart than had the US negotiated a new nuclear arms agreement with Iran that Israel would be ok with. Of course a part of the problem is Netanyahu's been against that from day 1.
Great…we both wanna see Trump succeed in Peace deal

Nobody can convince me that some are hoping the new ceasefire fails. The hateful glee and anticipation for failure drips from their posts.
You can tell by how much they gloated this morning. On this thread and another B/N thread, the usual trollish anti-Trumps with serious cases of TDS actually went after Trump supporters, falsely accusing them of "doing victory dances" or some such nonsense. The thing is there were no Trump supporters who wrote this truce was going to succeed. We all wrote that we are hoping it succeeds, remaining optimistic but realistically cautious. They are lying about us, and lying to themselves. That's some serious TDS.
Says the person who literally posted that they were gloating about Trump's announcement.
Every accusation ...
I live on the left coast. I have a few more hours of daylight left to gloat.

If you can't honestly dispute current facts, insult the voters. You lot if anything is so predictable. Right, @butterfly?

As of right now, this moment....
The ceasefire appears to be holding with both sides signaling compliance.

How long it will last, nobody knows.
How is pointing out what you're doing, an insult?

These are two separate issues.

It’s quite possible that Trump’s actions were illegal and also the best possible strategic move for the U.S.

The fact he ignored the Constitution and violated the law still means he should be impeached and removed from office.

Trump took an oath to the Constitution. If he isn’t going to abide by the oath he took he must resign or be removed from office.

And if Trump supporters don’t care about the law and want Trump to be a dictator they should have the intellectual integrity to admit it.

Let’s assume it’s a lasting Peace. Let’s start there.
Hopefully, it does last. I think it has a chance given Iran has declared victory over Israel and the U.S..

Because you're lying about Trump voters.

Jagged said:
Well they have to say it now because Trump said it. Echoing his thoughts of the minute are required.

It’s 100% true.

Support for Trump has devolved into a cult.

What a load of bunk.

According to @Apocalypse, neither of these places have airports, Bodi.

😅😅😅
You're obsessive towards having a win, which is very unfortunate for you as it tells you are lacking it in real life. There is no airport in Tel Aviv. It's not Tel Aviv Airport, it's called TLV because Tel Aviv is the biggest thing next to it. If you'll say "Tel Aviv airport" people would have to think for a moment to understand you're talking about Ben Gurion, nobody here refers to it that way. 😕

What a load of bunk.

The constitutional powers of the President as Commander-in-Chief to introduce United States Armed Forces into hostilities, or into situations where imminent involvement in hostilities is clearly indicated by the circumstances, are exercised only pursuant to (1) a declaration of war, (2) specific statutory authorization, or (3) a national emergency created by attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces.

The Islamist nations always declare victory no matter the blow they are given.

344-79 says you're wrong.

No, they're all wrong. All 344. Every single one of them. They have all failed to do their duty. They have failed to abide by their oaths just as Trump has failed to abide by his. All 344 of them. And so has Trump and so have Trump supporters. Weak-willed. Weak-minded. Unable to see reality as it is, and unable to comprehend basic English words. Trump violated the Constitution and the remedy is impeachment.

It was aggression not retaliation
It was a retaliation to Iran's violation of the ceasefire launching missiles at Israel 3 hours after the ceasefire started, but your support for a regime that murders women for showing their hair in the street is admirable.

Yeah, you go with that but thanks for making my point, Post 846.

What a load of bunk.
Imagine existing in a world where an election makes you immune from Constitutional boundaries.
You simultaneously argue the Constitution that created your position is a thing you can ignore.

Bizarro world.
