Trump says Iran and Israel agree to a ceasefire

Correct, the airport is in Narita not in Tokyo.

Lmao, the airport is literally called Tokyo-Narita International Airport. It is Tokyo's airport, it is in Narita.

Nobody would say this is Narita's airport and Tokyo does not have an airport. The same way, people call TLV, Tel Aviv's airport because nobody gives a **** about Lod, and nobody thinks Tel Aviv doesn't have an airport, except you, the LoCaL.

How embarrasing this must be for you. I warned everyone not to tell ya, and you kept pushing. Now you look like a guy who has never even been to an airport.

😅

I'll say this again because you are having a hard time.
IATA uses the acronym of the largest city closest to the airport to refer to an airport for the convenience of travellers.
Obviously nobody gives a damn about Lod for example or Narita and thus want to know they're heading towards Tokyo or Tel Aviv.
That doesn't mean, my confused friend, that the airport is Tel Aviv Airport. It's not. And I have no idea where you came up with that "it is serving Tel Aviv" nonsense.

The distance between Tel Aviv and TLV :

The distance between Munich and MUC (Freising) :

@Apocalypse : Tel Aviv has no airport! Freising is in the outskirts of Munich! I am a local! You all believe in propaganda!

😂😂😂

I was out for a few hours; it seems that the ceasefire was broken one or more times after the supposed 4am cut-off but since then logic has prevailed and both parties have agreed to it? If so, that's a good thing and I hope it holds.

mutual statements of agreement. live breaking updates (no paywall)

Israel said it had agreed to a cease-fire early Tuesday with Iran, bringing a halt to 12 days of fighting that had raised fears of a wider war in the Middle East. Iran said it had agreed to the deal, first announced by President Trump, a few hours before Israel.

Investors cheered the news of the cease-fire. Markets jumped in Asia, where countries need energy imports to power their economies. Stocks in South Korea surged the most at 3 percent. S&P 500 stock futures were about 1 percent higher, signaling an expected rise when trading begins in New York. The price of oil has fallen back to around where it was before Israel first attacked Iran nearly two weeks ago. (more updates)

IATA is not determined by the biggest city nearby, it is dependent on how airport management wishes the airport to be identified per their standards.

For example, Montreal's airport, while in Montreal, has the abbreviation of YUL. Quito has the abbreviation of UIO. Toronto uses YYZ. New York, uses JFK, the initials of a person's name.

Guess what they were trying to do when it was they decided Ben Gurion's IATA was going to be TLV, all letters found in Tel Aviv? Do you think they were trying to get people to say "Tel Aviv doesn't have an airport"?

You are way out of your depth here and it is becoming increasingly obvious that you were trying to have a gotcha moment with someone on a subject you are pretty ignorant on.

So far, per the very silly arguments @Apocalypse has presented :

- Munich has no airport
- Frankfurt has no airport
- Tokyo has no airport
- Washington DC has no airport
- Brussels has no airport
- Zurich has no airport
- Chicago has no airport
- Tel Aviv has no airport

Someone, please, please pray for these cities without airports.

😂

We already know from recent history in Gaza cease fires mean very little to Israel, why should this be any different.

Okay, okay.

Just because I feel like exposing @Apocalypse 's severe case of never ending yappanitis one last time, imma cap this off by just asking an AI (ChatGPT) that has never taken a flight, if Tel Aviv has an airport :

Tel Aviv has no airport though, you heard it here on Debate Politics folks, from a LoCaL.

😂

Tel Aviv is the closest big city next to it hence they named it TLV. People want to know they're heading to Tel Aviv. It's not called 'Tel Aviv Airport' however and it's a matter of fact really so you can bark at the clouds.

I do hope you're making yourself laugh at least since nobody else does.

Apparently Iran had just broken the ceasefire launching missiles at northern Israel. We'll see what it leads to.

You have managed massage the claim from "Tel Aviv has no airport", which it does, to "It's not called Tel Aviv's airport" which it doesn't have to be named as such, in order to be Tel Aviv's airport.

Lmao, did you know Montreal's airport isn't called Montreal's airport? Like Tel Aviv's airport, it has a person's name. Did you know Havana's airport is not named Havana's airport? That one also has a person's name.

This must be an incredibly embarrasing moment for you being a local and all.

😅

Good news. If the cease fire is broken it will be by Iran. The Islamic government is riven by dissent.

Well then start explaining! Or are you just trying to make chit up to feel better about things?................

No, Iran has a lot of rockets and Israel has limited capacity to defend against them.

Stopping a psychotic country from getting the Nuke is GOOD FOR THE WORLD !....
Says all normal folks with functioning brains.

Says the country that commits genocide.

While there's no shortage of examples of Israeli lies regarding ceasefires, it is possible the extent of damage from Iranian missiles to the Israeli homeland makes this recent conflict different?

We already know how Israeli/US deception initiated the latest round of violence in the Middle East:

https://americanprospect.bluelena.i...d840d.3397&s=f389cabe473e78e98aff6ddda5d5eaaa

"It’s now clear that Trump and Netanyahu, despite deceptions signaling a U.S. preference for diplomacy, were in cahoots all along.

"The first deception was a planned negotiating session between the Iranians and Trump special envoy Steve Witkoff, scheduled for Sunday, June 15.

"The Iranians reasonably assumed that, with negotiations pending, no Israeli attack was imminent.

"Netanyahu then launched his attack early Friday."

NBC: Israel claims Iran "completely violated" ceasefire.

Bibi has a pattern, and he sticks to it.

Israel will react to Iran's violation, we'll see if it ends there.
