Trump on Liz Cheney: ‘Let’s put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her’

Their penchant for an authoritarian who uses violent imagery against those who oppose him makes MAGA dangerous.
MAGA has not once held Trump accountable for anything. They cheerlead for their commander lord. What can we even say to these people?

Donald Trump suggested he would like to see how Liz Cheney would fare “with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her.”

Speaking at an event in Glendale, Arizona, after midnight on the East Coast, moderated by former Fox News personality Tucker Carlson, Trump called the prominent Republican surrogate for Kamala Harris “a very dumb individual.”

“She’s a radical war hawk — let’s put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, OK?” Trump said. “And let’s see how she feels about it, you know, when the guns are trained on her face.”

The fact that republicans are supposedly outraged by the language Harris is using proves they are total lying hypocrites.
**** Trump.

How many new wars did Trump start?
Why do you support Trump’s surrender to the Taliban?
Maga press won’t cover Trump releasing 5,000 Taliban prisoners.

He did. He could have chosen language that didn't single out his political opponent, but he didn't.

Gaslighting isn't gonna work. If Trump wanted to talk about foreign policy, he could have done so without the violent rhetoric. It's fascist. It should be disqualifying.

Bullshit. No candidate suggested pointing guns at anyone.

Liz Cheney isn't his political opponent.

Liz Cheney isn't his political opponent.
As bad a political take as you’ll read.
She’s been his political opponent since J6.
Every Republican is now just a disgusting coward.

My bad it is about Cheney and I was never a fan either. She is however doing the right thing in this instance and for that I thank her.
From my perch, Harris is the integrity of America.

As anemic as she is, she is all there is to offset the nightmare that is The Donald? What do you think is the reaction of the average west European to Trump's 'strong man' bullshit?

I have been to Eastern Europe as late as the late 1980's. The scars of both the Nazi's and the Soviets run deep; like DNA a fear/wariness/alarm runs in everyone's blood. As one immigrant who had come out in the 50's told me "You have never been an occupied country. You cannot know the scars that span generations, like the scars of the blacks, the descendants of slaves."

He had a point

He considers her an opponent. She has dared to criticize him. His opponents are the enemy of the people and need to be dealt with accordingly.

Everyone and anyone who has ever publicly criticized him, made fun of him, is his lifelong enemy.

He will go to what the average person would consider great extremes over the slightest provocation. The hole reason he has been creating chaos in the American political landscape is because Obama shamed him at the correspondents dinner in his last term.

I will wager my pension he has never forgotten a even the most minor of slights.

Liz Cheney isn't his political opponent.
Yes, she is. Remember, Cheney bucked trump and the GOP when she agreed to be a member of the House Committee investigation into Jan 6th.

That made her trump's opponent.

And worse - in the eyes of trump and MAGA - Cheney has endorsed Harris.

This from a Biden supporter.
Trump sold out our Kurdish fighters and a million Kurds to erDOGan in Turkey.
Over ten thousand Kurdish fighters died for Uncle Sam, only to be knee-capped by Trump.

Trump is just fine with Muhammad 🍖 saw, living down to being cowardly cadet 🦴 spurs.

Trump sold out the Uyghur minority in slave labor camps in China to his master Xi.
Trump’s bro Kim Jung un is now helping his BRICS master Vlad in Ukraine.

Did we ever find out what the hell happened in Helsinki?

He called her a Warhawk what wars did she vote for? She wasn’t in office until 2017
Trump himself fumed against Bush #2 Iraq invasion which was the stupidest war we ever initiated.
I voted for Bush #2 in 2000 but passed on voting in 2004 because of 1) Bush invasion of Iraq
turned the middle east into a firestorm with the Sunni/Shia hating of each other finally coming to the surface.
2) I was afraid that Wolfawitz, Kagan & Chaney would persuade Bush to start a war with Iran like they were able to do in Iraq.

Now, trump wasn't even in politics in 2004,5& 6 when he railed against that stupid war & like Trump;
Cheney's daughter though not in office until as you say 2017 had a position in that ill-fated Iraq indulgence,
if anyone would have asked her position of course she would have approved of her fathers position &
Cheney himself was the prime mover for that idiotic war.

Since the Lizzard only came to office in 2017 there was only one war she had a chance to vote for
& every time Zelensky came begging for money the Lizzard was all for it.

Liz Cheney was not involved in the decision to go to war. No matter how much you imagine she had some kind of made-up role, reality doesn't support your fantasy.

Trump targeted Liz Cheney because

1) She participated in the House Jan 6 investigation, and

2) She endorsed his opponent.

Trump the misogynist attacked Liz Cheney but not her father - who was involved in the decisions to go to war - because trump is a coward.

This is Melania in 2016.
This is Melania in 2024.
Edit for now.

@slick is lying about Trump not approving of Bush-43’s invasion of Iraq on Howard Stern.

After years of labeling Trump N*zis and Threats to Democracy and two ass*nation attempts — the media is suddenly concerned about escalating rhetoric.

Trump was making the point that Liz Cheney is a warmonger while knowing she, her dad or her family will never be the ones doing the fighting.

Which is undeniably true.

That is what propaganda hacks like Kasie Hunt are lying about.

Awwwwwwwww

How many links do you want besides these quotes by Trump?
President Trump blasted former President George W. Bush on Saturday over the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq, calling it “the single worst decision ever made.”

Speaking at a closed-door event with Republican donors in Florida, Trump mocked Bush’s intellect and compared his decision to invade Iraq to “throwing a big fat brick into a hornet’s nest.”

“Here we are, like the dummies of the world, because we had bad politicians running our country for a long time,” Trump said, according to CNN, which obtained a recording of the president’s remarks.

{mosads}

“That was Bush. Another real genius. That was Bush,” Trump joked. “That turned out to be wonderful intelligence. Great intelligence agency there.”

Trump has repeatedly attacked the U.S. intelligence community, once pointing to its faulty assessment that the government of former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction as evidence of its unreliability.
############################################################
He battled in the primaries in 2015-16 with Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio & Ted Cruz about this very subject.
Rubio & Cruz eventually came around to a position similar to Trump. But before those primaries and Trumps input the majority of prominent republican senators still were giving the benefit
of the doubt to the Bush/Cheney indulgences into Iraq!

So, your position is that trump never voiced support for the decision to invade Iraq?

Trump’s ten maga commandments in three categories later.

You forgot about this, which you refuse to address.

Why is that, @slick ??
You don’t get to pull the trigger and take the bullet back.
Nor start the Iraq war and blame Obama.
Or start the Afghan war and blame Biden.
Trump sold out America to the Taliban.

Trump mocking anyone else’s intellect is akin to an ant crawling up an elephant’s leg with rape on its mind.

So, your position is that trump never voiced support for the decision to invade Iraq?
Trump was always in the news in that era and among the many things he said & was stated on, without even giving the intent of your question a cursory glance - how may have stated invading Iraq may solve some problems it wouldn't surprise my if he gave a tempered OK for the move,

But without fear of responsible contradiction he was the first republican person of substance to voice the stupidity of that conflict. Kerry in the election of 2004 blasted Bush/Cheney for the Iraq folly, many democrats did!
