That's moot because some (if not all) were below the age of consent and that does, in fact, matter and we should all care. Only blind partisans wouldn't care.
The thing is -- we don't know if the accusations are valid, but, just for the sake of argument, let's say they are. They're more than 30 years old, which indicates that if Moore did have a problem back then, he no longer does. We also don't have any accusations that rise to the level of a true crime having been committed.
Compare that to Obama's confession that he smoked pot. That would have been a crime at the time he did it. Should voters have judged him based on that? Or, should they have done exactly as they did and judged him based on the fact that what happened 30 years ago wasn't indicative of the man he was when he ran for office?
