I agree. I think any reunification will need to be started by you guys, not the ones that designed it and nurtured it in the first place.

You ever see those dudes that train pigeons to respond to flags while flying? It's pretty cool to watch, the flock moves in unison in the direction the guy gestures them to go, performing intricate maneuvers with unfailing obedience and unison, always returning to their cages when they are told to.

To me, though, it's always a little depressing. I feel sorry for the birds... out there, flying, believing they are free because they are outside and in the air, no tethers or leashes. But the man flicks his wrist and they change directions again, over and over, until their master signals them to return to their cages.

Why do they do it? Is it for the free food, or the protection that the man offers? Or is it that they just can't imagine life any other way? All they'd need to do is just ignore the flags and fly away. That's all it would take for them to be free. But they return to their cages every time.

This is you guys right now. And us. And everyone. Well, everyone except those with the flags. And we're all fighting over who gets to hold those flags that keep us in cages, despite the fact that we could all be free if we just ignored them and decided ourselves where we want to fly.

Yeah... kinda depressing.

The comment about black people was racist.

Nothing is certain about the outcome of the coming election accept the fact that maga won't accept the results if they don't win. With maga it's: "We win or you lose." If maga doesn't win they will get all butt sore and go on the rampage. They will refuse to accept the results and show that they don't believe in elections, that all they want is one person. And there will probably be more maga violence.

graduated in 2012 w a degree in Women's Studies cried in 2016 when Trump got elected lost touch w the dems somewhere around MeToo discovered entrepreneurship updated my voter registration in 2018 but didn't tell anyone told myself i was a 'single-issue-voting Centrist' the last 6-12 months i've believed i was going to abstain from voting in the upcoming election because the options are equally terrible but watching Trump survive an assassination attempt and act like a total ****ing savage just shifted me into some strange, patriotic gear that my fancy-feminism-white-men-bad infected brain never showed me like, the dude took a bullet and stood up with blood dripping down his face, and rallied a ****ing crowd while fist pumping, yelling "FIGHT!"sorry, but i'm voting for that. and saying it out loud feels so freeing (2012 stepfanie would be so pissed but that's okay because 2012 stepfanie didn't know shit)

if he had been hit at all with that .223 it would take his ear off at that speed and size bullet. I am not saying the attempt was fake or staged, just that isn't how his ear was injured. His ear might not even be injured...the guy behind him died (blood spatter)

That is right. That Iwo Jima type photo encapsulates what America wants and needs. Not some doddering old Mr. Magoo who can't give speeches on his own and needs a teleprompter and thinks we defeated Medicare and capitulates to The Taliban, Putin and Hamas while waving in millions of job-taking illegals from blacks and struggling whites because he needs to keep his Bidenflation down.

Donald appears to be pumping his fist in defiance of something, but what? It's not like he has been some stalwart speaker against Republican domestic terrorism. Isn't the raised fist a symbol to physically fight against something?

If Donald is taking a stand against American gun violence, then yeah. I agree with that.

Oh, please, yes, let Donald all of a sudden turn on 2nd Amendment and agree that it is obsolete and needs to be repealed and replaced.

Let him please come out against Republican domestic terrorism.

OMG, you are trying to make this about gun violence??? He is pumping his fist that the hate filled rhetoric of the Goldmans, Mika and Joe, Cillizza, Hillary, Jen Psaki,. Joe Biden had nothing to do with the shooting of Donald.

Criticizing Donald is not hatred. It's criticism. There are so many red flag problem areas with Donald there is no lack of material he can be criticized on.

We do have a right to criticize wrong doing in America.

Enforcing the law in America is enforcing the law. If the laws are not to be enforced they should not exist. If we have overly restrictive laws then lawmakers should act to change them.

Making the case for liberal policy is not causing hatred. It is championing what is right and should be done for society.

Trump is fortunate to live in an era as civilized as this one. The Founding Fathers would have had him tarred and feathered for such actions.
