True, some troops adopted AK's along with most of the Afgan troops, but none of us fly Mig 29's.

When they screw up, don't defend them, condemn them or just STFU, it makes some believe you may not be a true Patriot.

He doesn't even need to condemn something, because this was just some marketing person not checking a stock image for accuracy. It's not a big deal, but it's kinda funny. Laugh and move on.

After this story was published, the creator of the image, Arthur Zakirov, confirmed in a Facebook message that it shows a 3D model of a MiG-29, and that the soldiers were Russian models. He said it was a composite photo created five years ago and taken in three different countries showing Russian sky, Greek mountains and French ground.

I got an educated guess as to what it is. It looks a ****load like the MiG-29 its been alleged to be. That would make it a Russian aircraft.

I know a couple other things....its DEFINITELY NOT an F-15. Its also DEFINITELY NOT an F-18.

So I ask you again, what US plane would fit the bill?

did an image search of the mig 29s and found out the photo was also used in a news article about the US military using biosensors

Look at the forward end of the gas rail and the flash suppressor on the troop to the far right. It's an AK-74. I saw the gas rail and I knew that was not an American or even a NATO weapon.
