Trump’s Running Tab in the Abrego Garcia Case

Inaccurate information can be corrected, and paperwork can be filed late. This just isn't a problem.
Right. All one has to do is correct the paperwork for millions of people whose first language isn't Engish. So, is it correcting trivial errors, or is it catching fraud?
If you are going to deport someone who has lived here for years, who has a family, it should be because they are a danger to the community, not because of paperwork errors.
Again, is it just mistakes, or is it fraud?
No, it's never a "good" idea. See "Smoot Hartley" if you are still confused.
It's a good idea if there are serious imbalances in tariffs between countries, such that some markets are closed to international trade.
Wow, you are a trusting soul! The problem isn't Congress's lack of action (they should have shut it down the first day a scammer invented "imaginary money".) It's that so many people have bought into an imaginary currency with nothing to back it up.
No, I'm not. I think the whole idea of cryptocurrency is a scam. But I don't control it. Congress does.
Because they knew what they were doing, Trump, not so much.
Biden is the cause of this huge problem. He obviously didn't know what he was doing, unless you want to admit that he was just malevolent.
People in Texas asking where FEMA is are realizing that right about now.
People in Texas know exactly where FEMA is and it;s doing the best that can be done in a flood zone while it's still raining.

Right. All one has to do is correct the paperwork for millions of people whose first language isn't Engish. So, is it correcting trivial errors, or is it catching fraud?

Nope, it's about intimidating immigrants. A decent person would say, "Whoops, you made an error, please fix it."

It's a good idea if there are serious imbalances in tariffs between countries, such that some markets are closed to international trade.

Nope. Imbalances are caused because industries are inefficient. Rewarding inefficiency doesn't fix the problems.

No, I'm not. I think the whole idea of cryptocurrency is a scam. But I don't control it. Congress does.

Congress should do more. But it doesn't help when Trump is participating and investing in the scam.

Biden is the cause of this huge problem. He obviously didn't know what he was doing, unless you want to admit that he was just malevolent.

Um, sorry, blaming Biden for everything is kind of silly.

He's responsible for the Epstein Files, too, right.

People in Texas know exactly where FEMA is and it;s doing the best that can be done in a flood zone while it's still raining.

Yeah, you were probably one of those people saying what a great job Trump was doing in 2020 when the country was in flames.

And you'll probably get a second chance to do it.

Nope, it's about intimidating immigrants.
It appears to be the view of people on the left that it - like most things - is about feelings. That's baloney. Neither of us knows what happens in offices when an error is discovered at the time documents are meant to be reviewed. But when docs are years late, it adds to the suspicion that the "error" may be more than that.
Nope. Imbalances are caused because industries are inefficient.
How can you be so wrong, so often? One function of tariffs by any country is the protection of home industries. At your age, one shouldn't have to explain to you that has nothing to do with the efficiency of the same industry in another country.
Congress should do more. But it doesn't help when Trump is participating and investing in the scam.
Congress should do more. And you should get over the feeble notion that everything bad is Trump's fault. That's a major weakness of the Democrat Party.
Um, sorry, blaming Biden for everything is kind of silly.
Biden, among the flood of EO's he released in his first days, reversed what Trump had done (such as, "remain in Mexico") that were cutting down on illegal immigration. To make matters worse, he then implemented policies such as "catch and release," that allowed millions of illegal aliens to come in every year. Within a month of the end of Biden's term, those policies were scrapped, laws began to be enforced and illegal immigration dropped to near zero. Even a hard left ideologue should see how that demonstrates that Biden caused the problem of millions of potential and actual criminals and terrorists being here.
He's responsible for the Epstein Files, too, right.
Since I don't give a damn about Epstein or any files about him, I simply couldn't care less.
Yeah, you were probably one of those people saying what a great job Trump was doing in 2020 when the country was in flames.
Nope. I was saying to bring in the guns and run those liberals assholes out of their commandeered parts of cities. Funny, though, that you criticize Trump for not stopping your terrorists. If he had, you'd be bitching about him being mean to the rioters.
And you'll probably get a second chance to do it.
L.A. makes it look like you won't get away with it again. Trump has the troops and the USSC agrees that he has the power to use them.

You can't defend how Democrats have callously exploited Abrego Garcia for partisan political gain and now abandon him to deportation or a US prison followed by deportation. Oh and, Democrats have set him up to be deported to a country completely foreign to him. No wonder you've devolved into refusals to debate.

Please source and quote where the Democrats have done so. We're backing the judicial system and supporting proper process. Period. We dont claim to or claim to want to control what happens except the proper legal process. If he's guilty, prove it, thru the courts. It's the right that wants to deport him without him "facing justice" for the crime that they are accusing him of. Do we want to expose the bullshit this administration tried to pull ignoring the courts in the first place? Sure...that's also demanding justice. If he's guilty of a crime...then the appropriate sentence for that crime is justice and deserved.

Now...post something that proves what I asked.

The reason why it's years late is because Trump dismantled much of the bureaucracy that reviews them. It's why Aslyum claims take 7 years to resolve when they should (by statue) only take 180 days.

Someone should have told you at a young age about the Smoot-Hawley Act. This information was deviously hidden from you inside things called "Books".

Congress should do more. And you should get over the feeble notion that everything bad is Trump's fault. That's a major weakness of the Democrat Party.

No, it's kind of emblematic of the problem of Trump in general. Everything is a scam to enrich him personally, whether it be $5000 watches made in China, or $60 Bibles, or his bullshit

reuters.com/business/trumps-world-liberty-crypto-tokens-become-tradable-2025-07-16/

You know, we used to call that "counterfeiting"

Biden, among the flood of EO's he released in his first days, reversed what Trump had done (such as, "remain in Mexico") that were cutting down on illegal immigration.

Except it really wasn't. The problem with MMP was that Trump lied to the Mexicans about processing asylum claims. So the Mexicans just stop playing along.

Since I don't give a damn about Epstein or any files about him, I simply couldn't care less.
Right, you've been told "nothing to see here". Too bad the rest of your MAGA cult disagrees.

Nope. I was saying to bring in the guns and run those liberals assholes out of their commandeered parts of cities. Funny, though, that you criticize Trump for not stopping your terrorists. If he had, you'd be bitching about him being mean to the rioters.

Trump is why those riots happened.

He failed to contain Covid
He openly encouraged police misconduct
he wrecked the economy

And then he wondered why people got fed up.

L.A. makes it look like you won't get away with it again. Trump has the troops and the USSC agrees that he has the power to use them.

If you have soldiers beating up Americans, that's a bad look. Trump is already standing down the troops.

Demanding links is your second favorite tactic of desperation. Convenient amnesia erases the temporary 24/7 Democrat loving media obsession with the Maryland Dad. The pilgrimage of publicity hungry Democrat politicians to El Salvador demanding a sovereign nation bend to their partisan political stunt is conveniently forgotten. But the discussion must start anew from ground zero by your demand. Nothing but an attempt at deflection.

The reason why it's years late is because Trump dismantled much of the bureaucracy that reviews them.
Nothing Trump did causes people to file their documents years after they're supposed to.
It's why Aslyum claims take 7 years to resolve when they should (by statue) only take 180 days.
And that's why Trump has suggested using qualified JAG's to act as immigration judges, to increase the capacity and reduce the time.
Someone should have told you at a young age about the Smoot-Hawley Act. This information was deviously hidden from you inside things called "Books".
Someone should tell you that 1930 was a great deal different from 2025, and the use to which tariffs are being put today are a great deal different than during a Depression.
Except it really wasn't. The problem with MMP was that Trump lied to the Mexicans about processing asylum claims. So the Mexicans just stop playing along.
Look at the numbers instead of parroting your leaders.
Right, you've been told "nothing to see here". Too bad the rest of your MAGA cult disagrees.
I haven't been told anything. Sex scandals have never had the appeal for me that they seem to have for Democrats.
Trump is why those riots happened.
And so you regurgitate the only things Dems know how to say; "Trump bad." The L.A riots happened because of the Mayor of L.A. The 2020 riots happened because local authorities did nothing to stop them. In fact, they painted the rioters slogans in huge letters in the streets.
If you have soldiers beating up Americans, that's a bad look. Trump is already standing down the troops.
No troops beat up any citizens and, FYI, the troops are being partially withdrawn because the rioting has died down.

You should be embarrassed that you need to have this basic stuff explained to you. But, WTH, you're a Democrat.

Nothing Trump did causes people to file their documents years after they're supposed to.
Which isn't what happened, but never mind. Point was, the Danish father kept showing up for his hearings, and no one during those times thought the paperwork that wasn't filed was a big deal until Trump started demanding a quota of people to deport.
And that's why Trump has suggested using qualified JAG's to act as immigration judges, to increase the capacity and reduce the time.
Not their job. Also, how is an expert in military law going to know anything about immigration law?
Someone should tell you that 1930 was a great deal different from 2025, and the use to which tariffs are being put today are a great deal different than during a Depression.

Nope, still the same problem. Everyone throws up tariffs, the world economy clogs up.

Look at the numbers instead of parroting your leaders.

I did. Almost no people who "Stayed in Mexico" got their cases heard. This is why the Mexicans said, "Nope".

And so you regurgitate the only things Dems know how to say; "Trump bad." The L.A riots happened because of the Mayor of L.A. The 2020 riots happened because local authorities did nothing to stop them. In fact, they painted the rioters slogans in huge letters in the streets.

No, the LA riots happened because the ICE Jackboots went around arresting innocent people.
The 2020 riots happened because black people finally got fed up.

Which isn't what happened, but never mind. Point was, the Danish father kept showing up for his hearings, and no one during those times thought the paperwork that wasn't filed was a big deal until Trump started demanding a quota of people to deport.
Got it. Trump knew that a Danish guy had problems with his paperwork and that he had filed required documents late, so Trump figured, "I'll get this guy" and raised the quota for removals then had him arrested.
Not their job. Also, how is an expert in military law going to know anything about immigration law?
They're lawyers, and they know how to read. Maybe in multiple languages.
Nope, still the same problem. Everyone throws up tariffs, the world economy clogs up.
Look, you guys have been predicting doom every day since Trump first mentioned tariffs. The only outcome has been $27 billion collected by the CBP, right into the Treasury, and businesses expanding their facilities and jobs. Seems like you'd get used to the idea that this isn't 1930, but maybe not.
I did. Almost no people who "Stayed in Mexico" got their cases heard. This is why the Mexicans said, "Nope"
Mexico didn't say "No" until Biden was inaugurated. Know why? Biden has no balls.
No, the LA riots happened because the ICE Jackboots went around arresting innocent people.
The 2020 riots happened because black people finally got fed up.
You're just wrong on both counts. The riots, in both cases, were bought and paid for by liberals.

Got it. Trump knew that a Danish guy had problems with his paperwork and that he had filed required documents late, so Trump figured, "I'll get this guy" and raised the quota for removals then had him arrested.

No, Trump raised the quota and told them to find any lame ass excuse to violate people.

It would like if the cops just arrested anyone who was jaywalking or littering.

You might be happy living in that kind of dystopian police state, but most sane people aren't.

Look, you guys have been predicting doom every day since Trump first mentioned tariffs. I'm dealing with Tariff problems every day. Because supply chains are all fouled up right now, I can't get components from vendors to complete jobs. And only about 10% of our components come from China.

I'm dealing with Tariff problems every day. Because supply chains are all fouled up right now, I can't get components from vendors to complete jobs. And only about 10% of our components come from China.
A temporary blivit. If you're good at your job, you'll deal with it. If you're not, well....

The pilgrimage of publicity hungry Democrat politicians to El Salvador demanding a sovereign nation bend to their partisan political stunt is conveniently forgotten. If you cant debate it, then dont. If you just want your baseless opinion to stand for you, works for me.

You cant back up your statements. If you could, you would. ;)

A temporary blivit. If you're good at your job, you'll deal with it. If you're not, well....

I shouldn't have to deal with it.

I shouldn't have to paying more for parts and waiting longer times for them and wasting time resourcing them when the part we were getting was perfectly fine until nitwit started holding them up in China because there isn't enough product to fill the cargo container.

I shouldn't have to deal with it.

You're so right President Trump is responsible for China's shipping policies. LOL

If you cant debate it, then dont. If you just want your baseless opinion to stand for you, works for me.

You cant back up your statements. If you could, you would. ;)
There you go again, it's my baseless opinion because I won't fulfill your demand to research the well documented facts of Abrego Garcia’s dilemma.

What "works" for you is evasion, strawmen, and claiming I am the problem.

There you go again, it's my baseless opinion because I won't fulfill your demand to research the well documented facts of Abrego Garcia’s dilemma.

Correct. If it "had a factual base to it" it wouldnt be baseless. You made accusations against Democrats and provided no substance but your personal bias.

So without that substance, it's just your sour grapes. Enjoy!

I shouldn't have to deal with it.
Why not? Isn't that your job?
I shouldn't have to paying more for parts and waiting longer times for them and wasting time resourcing them when the part we were getting was perfectly fine until nitwit started holding them up in China because there isn't enough product to fill the cargo container.
Business conditions change. If you're not able or ready to deal with that, you may want to think about doing something different.

You're so right President Trump is responsible for China's shipping policies. LOL

No, he's responsible for disrupting trade.

You see, here's how it works. Joe has ordered a bunch of widgets. Those widgets need a part from China. But the manufacturer in China doesn't ship the part until they can fill a container. So it sits on a dock and waits.

A lot of companies that could preordered their widgets before the tariffs could kick in. This is a problem is that inventory eats up capital. So a lot of companies are sitting on stock they can't use while others are waiting longer times for parts they are paying more money for.

Why not? Isn't that your job?
No, my job is to place orders and maintain inventory levels. Chasing down expedites is not a constructive use of my time, and paying tariffs is not a constructive use of my boss's money.

Business conditions change. If you're not able or ready to deal with that, you may want to think about doing something different.

Business conditions change because Republicans fudge things up. Every time.

10 of the last 11 recessions happened when Republicans were in charge.

Soon to be 11 out of 12.

But the manufacturer in China doesn't ship the part until they can fill a container. So it sits on a dock and waits.
That happens quite usually when things are ordered from China. It doesn't have to be anything about tariffs.
Chasing down expedites is not a constructive use of my time,
Sounds like a problem you need to talk to your boss about.
paying tariffs is not a constructive use of my boss's money.
It is if you buy parts from China.
10 of the last 11 recessions happened when Republicans were in charge.
Recessions don't happen overnight, or the day of the event that caused them.

That happens quite usually when things are ordered from China. It doesn't have to be anything about tariffs.

It has to do completely with tariffs. Trump screws up the supply chain whenever he gets in.

It is if you buy parts from China.

Why should I be penalized for buying from China. Instead of hating on China, we should probably be looking at what they are doing right. (It's usually my suppliers who buy from China, BTW, not me directly.

Recessions don't happen overnight, or the day of the event that caused them.

I agree, recessions often occur due to years of poor Republican policies. That and the One Percenters know they can use recessions to screw over the working class when Republicans are in charge with no worry about reprecussions like higher taxes or regulation.

Recessions aren't a bug of Republican Governance, it's a design feature. Crush the working class to benefit the investor class.

get the working class to vote against their own best interests by playing on their racial, religious and sexual fears.

So you're unaware of Senator Van Holland's cocktail party with Garcia? Never heard of the gaggle of Congressional Democrats who endured the hardship of a taxpayer funded tropical vacation to demand the Maryland Dad's release? Somehow you avoided the synchonized false claims that Garcia was given no due process along side the media retrial of his multiple immigration court proceedings?

Are you truly unaware of the Democrat instigated chain of events that led to Garcia’s extradition to face charges in the US? The frantic pleas of Garcia’s defense team to retract the bail they fought to obtain because it would open the way for his deportation escaped your notice?

Oh yes, the dilemma Garcia now faces is a completely unsupported fabrication on my part because you feign ignorance of the Democrats massive media blitz. Absurd.

So you're unaware of Senator Van Holland's cocktail party with Garcia?

Be specific on how that supports your point. If we wanted TACO to try and comply with the SCOTUS order to facilitate Abrego Garcia's return...why not see the situation "in real life?"

Never heard of the gaggle of Congressional Democrats who endured the hardship of a taxpayer funded tropical vacation to demand the Maryland Dad's release?

I am unaware of this, please provide a link. And what was wrong with their demand?

Somehow you avoided the synchonized false claims that Garcia was given no due process along side the media retrial of his multiple immigration court proceedings?

Well I go with what SCOTUS said on the matter, which is that he didnt. So...what do you have to dispute that?

Are you truly unaware of the Democrat instigated chain of events that led to Garcia’s extradition to face charges in the US? The frantic pleas of Garcia’s defense team to retract the bail they fought to obtain because it would open the way for his deportation escaped your notice?

Again...why wouldnt Democrats fight for justice for someone? And why wouldnt they continue to see that he faces justice by trying to prevent his deportation?

Oh yes, the dilemma Garcia now faces is a completely unsupported fabrication on my part because you feign ignorance of the Democrats massive media blitz. Absurd.

So...you still did nothing but ask questions...you failed on an even bigger scale. Your posts are a MAGA embarrassment.

Are you truly unaware of the Democrat instigated chain of events that led to Garcia’s extradition to face charges in the US? The frantic pleas of Garcia’s defense team to retract the bail they fought to obtain because it would open the way for his deportation escaped your notice?

Interesting that you don't mention the Republican politicians that took "vacation" trips to El Salvador on the tax payer time including:

DHS Kristie Noem
REP Jason Smith (R-Mo)
REP Riley Moore (R-W.VA)
REP Claudia Tenney (R-NY)
REP Mike Kennedy (R-UT)
REP Carol Miller (R-W.VA)
REP Ron Estes (R-KS)
REP Kevin Hern (R-OK)

It has to do completely with tariffs. Trump screws up the supply chain whenever he gets in.
Well, the only thing I can suggest is that you find another job, where you don't have to depend on a supplier in China.
Why should I be penalized for buying from China. Instead of hating on China, we should probably be looking at what they are doing right.
"What they're doing right" is paying their workers almost nothing.

That's just all too much "class warfare" crap for me to want to deal with.
