And if their home country won't take them do we just let them stay here? What happens if we return them and later they are "mistreated?" By whose standards? Just because they illegally entered our country doesn't mean that we took them to raise.
Only Abrego Garcia was sent to "the wrong" place.
He also violated it's laws. Let's see how the appeal works out. He has lawyers.
"Basic humanity" requires that we care for our neighbors who may be down on their luck. It doesn't require that we keep 12 million people here simply because they want to be here.
I don't think you understand the concept.
It was done by the right wing. Southern democrats were right wing. Northern republicans used to be fairly centrist, even liberal in some cases.
And I thought Dems couldn't get any dumber!
Why? Not genius satire, but telling, given the big beautiful bill. And I thought Dems couldn't get any dumber!
Not even telling, except for telling lies. And not even satire. Just dumb. Why? Not genius satire, but telling, given the big beautiful bill.
Why? The bill *does* cut food assistance and healthcare. Not even telling, except for telling lies. And not even satire. Just dumb.

To whom? Why? The bill *does* cut food assistance and healthcare.
I don't care if you're a registered vegetarian. That post was dumb. If I wrongly inferred that it came from a Democrat, it's only because it smacked of Democrat ignorance.“The insult dishonors the one who infers it, not the one who receives it.” -Diógenes the cynic
(Fwiw, I've been a registered Republican since 1980.)

No. We shouldn't reward unlawful behavior by giving them what the wanted in the first place.yes.
That's what's being done now and will continue for the next3 years, if necessary. You set priorities and you allocate resources wisely.
What was he charged with in his drug offense? Cite, please.Let's not. Let's do the decent thing.
This country has grown since the 1800's, and we now have immigration laws. Your wife and father are probably legal immigrants, as my wife is. If so, you know they had to prove various things about themselves to get into this country; a health check for communicable disease, a background crime check in their home country, a statement that they won't become burdens on the taxpayers, etc. There are valid reason for that, but the people you're so concerned about now did none of that. So we got some good folks, but we got some very bad ones, too. We got some that claim asylum, and they have to prove it to an asylum judge.I understand it perfectly well. This is a country of immigrants. My father was an immigrant, my wife is an immigrant.
Where do you draw the line? Be specific please, because that's the only way laws can be written and enforced.Or you can show compassion and common sense. An MS-13 gang member with multiple felonies? Yeah, toss him out
Just FYI:Again, never should have gotten this far. The man took a bullet for this country.
He qualifies to apply for an I 130 adjustment of status based on marriage to a US citizen. Why not just let him apply and remove the requirement he goto an interview at the consulate in El Salvador?Abrego Garcia was given a deportation order on March 29, 2019. He appealed that order and it was confirmed, with the provision that he not be deported to El Salvador. It isn't a question of guilt or innocence. It's a matter of due process. Deportation orders don't expire so, now that he is back in this country, he should be deported to some other country.
Garcia was ordered out of the country 6 years before Bondi got her job. Her role now should be just to insure that the order is executed.
That and the rest of your post have absolutely no bearing on the existence of the deportation order. It was issued by an immigration court and judge in accordance with due process. He should be released from jail and immediately deported.
I-130 has to do with the status of an adopted child, not citizenship for a person married to a citizen. I think you mean a form N-400.He qualifies to apply for an I 130 adjustment of status based on marriage to a US citizen.

Just FYI:
"Sae Joon Park's extensive criminal history includes convictions for possessing, manufacturing, or selling a dangerous weapon, carrying a loaded firearm in a public place, assault, and criminal possession of a controlled substance" and bail jumping.
:While Park received the removal order after his release from prison, he was permitted to stay in the country and do regular check-ins with immigration agents. As a Purple Heart veteran, Park was allowed to stay through "deferred action" as long as he stayed clean and sober, according to Hawaii News Now."
ICE ultimatum forced Purple Heart veteran to self-deport to South Korea
Sae Joon Park had lived in the U.S. for nearly 50 years.www.snopes.com
The question is, did he stay clean and sober?

So the known bad ones are the first to go. That's "basic humanity" for our fellow legal residents, to protect them..And those who can't prove their need for asylum as defined in the UN Convention on Refugees are ordered removed by an asylum Court; due process. That's "basic humanity."
Democrats keep saying that, but they don't know why it doesn't make sense.Naw, Trump is deporting less people than Biden did.
That's both untrue and dumb. But I guess it doesn't matter to people who call law enforcement officers, "Gestapo," and encourage them being shot. He's having to violate people who were granted legal status because the actual illegals are pretty good at living under the radar.
Democrats will see to that, won't you?The longer this goes on, the more ICE will be hated by the communities they go into.
They were litigated and he was, apparently, convicted. Drugs are legal, when legally obtained and legally used. Yes, most Americans have a right to a gun, but it must be legally purchased and legally used. I'm not sure why I say that, because the word, "legally," means nothing to many liberals.Again, the man took a bullet for his country, and his minor infractions (Sorry, drugs should be legal and every American has a right to a gun, according to you guys) were litigated.
Why? Or does that matter to you?Actually, coming here legally is such a complete burden. My wife was a resident alien for seven years (she claimed asylum because she was a Christian in China) before we married. Even though such cases are supposed to be resolved in 180 days, by law, she was still waiting for her hearing when we married.
I'm not going to question or justify any of that, but the subject(s) of those 200 pages should tell you why all that was necessary. When we got married, I had to pay $4000 in fees and legal costs, and submit 200 pages of documentation.
That statement tells me that you don't know jack. It's just the very simple-minded rant of a blind follower. But it does help to explain why you had so much trouble with immigration.Look, we get it, you hate brown people and you want to see Trump deport them
Your post convinces me that you don't know that. If someone says it, you believe it, and say it to everyone who'll listen to you.Except we aren't going after the "bad ones". We are going after people with minor paperwork violations and infractions.
The fact is that several people have reported and commented that Trump, despite his promises, is not focusing on criminals among the illegal immigrant population. To get numbers towards fulfilling his goals, Stephen Malignant Miller has reportedly suggested picking up people at places like Home Depot.Your post convinces me that you don't know that. If someone says it, you believe it, and say it to everyone who'll listen to you.
Several people have also reported and commented that the moon is made of green cheese. The fact is that several people have reported and commented
Trump has said that the priority is criminals AND people who are under Orders of Deportation. You know, the people who have been to immigration court. The ones who have had their Due Process? Some of them, years ago.that Trump, despite his promises, is not focusing on criminals among the illegal immigrant population.
That just makes me wonder who published the flyer you're probably quoting from.I repeat that Trump, like most all demagogues, needs a group to disparage and create fear of. Trump came along after a generation or more of significant immigration, including immigrants from countries shunned prior to the 1965 reforms which removed the previously existing bias in favor of Northern Europeans. Thus he had a ready-made, racially/ethnically tinged population to focus on as part of his Make America Hate Again theme. Most recent example is his importing of (only) White South Africans.
