Tim Walz abandoned his soldiers when they deployed to Iraq

It is the act of a coward to retire in response to being called to war for the first time.
It’s the act of a coward to run off to a doctor and hide behind Daddy’s money to dodge the draft.

🤷‍♀️

Trump served exactly zero days for this country.

Spare us the histrionics about Walz not going to an active war zone after 20+ years enlisted.

Was Muhammad Ali a “coward”?

When called to war he didn’t go, after all.

Your narrative has holes you could drive a tank through.
I don’t recall Muhammad Ali bloviating about military service and leaving out the part about fleeing 2 years early when asked to serve.

Reading your posts, I find it very hard to believe that you served as you claim. If you did, you left the military with no self-esteem or honor.
Well, I sure as **** am not going to post my DD-214 on a public discussion board.

You can believe what ever you want, but I never shirked my duty or abandoned my unit like Tim Walz did.

You need to do some research on the intrepid video game player tigerace. It is well know here that he was rah rah US until he was sent home from boot camp.
You accused him: "... failed to fulfill his commitment for attending the Sergeant Majors Academy."

When I asked how was he then able to be approved for retirement, you apparently have nothing.

So your smears have been identified as such, and you fit right in with the MAGA crowd.

What is Waltz a veteran of? Pencil pushing?

Without “pencil pushing” troops don’t get the stuff they need.

You know, like food, ammunition, medical supplies, fuel for vehicles, letters from home, replacements for KIA and badly WIA.......

Tim Walz is a coward. He did the safe deployments to Italy and Norway, but when his unit was activated to go to Iraq, he suddenly “retired” when still having 2 years left on his commitment.

In early 2005, a warning order was issued to the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion, which included the position he was serving in, to prepare to be mobilized for active duty for a deployment to Iraq.

On May 16th, 2005 he quit, leaving the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion and its Soldiers hanging; without its senior Non-Commissioned Officer, as the battalion prepared for war. His excuse to other leaders was that he needed to retire in order to run for congress. Which is false, according to a Department of Defense Directive, he could have run and requested permission from the Secretary of Defense before entering active duty; as many reservists have. If he had retired normally and respectfully, you would think he would have ensured his retirement documents were correctly filled out and signed, and that he would have ensured he was reduced to Master Sergeant for dropping out of the academy. Instead he waited for the paperwork to catch up to him. His official retirement document states, SOLDIER NOT AVAILABLE FOR SIGNATURE.

The bottom line in all of this is gut wrenching and sad to explain. When the nation called, he quit. He failed to complete the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy. He failed to serve for two years following completion of the academy, which he dropped out of. He failed to serve two years after the conditional promotion to Command Sergeant Major. He failed to fulfill the full six years of the enlistment he signed on September 18th, 2001. He failed his country. He failed his state. He failed the Minnesota Army National Guard, the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion, and his fellow Soldiers. And he failed to lead by example. Shameful.
Yes, he is running against a ticket headlined by a draft dodger. There is a an old saying about people that live in glass houses. You should check it out. Its great advice.

The objections of desperation are certainly entertaining. Good luck with your swift boat effort, he retired after serving 20+ years. This sounds like a stretch, but considering the source here, its not worth my time to take this apart, which likely isn't very hard.

No one cares but Trumpers desperate to find objections! Tell it to your friends, I am sure they will want to vote twice.

You are starting to stab me in the chest. My response was about tigerace, not Tim Walz.

Trump served in the girl scouts and retired without a single badge because he was caught stealing cookies,

You also likely didn’t teach for 20 years in public schools, serve as a Congressman and then as a governor and now tapped as a VP. In addition to military service.

🤷‍♀️

Except Walz served for over twenty years. Once again, this idea that peacetime military service isn’t service is really, really absurd.

That is not actually the way it works in the NG. It is points based. It is 20 years of ACTIVE DUTY.
Those points are for benefits purpose. You can still retire but the more points you have the more benefits you get. And he obviously had enough. I understand that you think this is an important attack on the guy, but it isn't what you think it is. I find it pathetic to question his service this way.

I served for six years and never saw combat. I didn't WANT to see it either. When my commitment was up I saw the writing on the wall and knew combat would be in my immediate future if I reenlisted. I had a wife, and we wanted to start a family, so I got out. Was discharged Honorably. Did I abandon my soldiers in my squad by doing so? Please...

Did you serve? Why did you get out? Who did you abandon by doing so?

You are starting to stab me in the chest. My response was about tigerace, not Tim Walz.
???

In other words, Mr. Hero, you can't back up your accusations.

Oh no….an NCO retired after more than 2 decades of service to run for Congress.
And decades as a teacher.

You couldn't get more of a selfless public servant if you genetically manufactured one in a lab.

They're grasping at straws. I can't WAIT for someone to bring up his DUI. I have Trump's criminal record ready to copy/paste into my reply.

Which is why you're gonna vote for Non-Private Bone Spurs
Hey, Donny bragged about "sex in the 80's" being his own "personal Vietnam" and how he claimed he was a "brave soldier" never contracting "STD's" while comparing women's vaginas to "a potential landmine."

Bravest man America has ever known, the bigliest brave man, no one knew a man could be so brave!

In fact, if Audie Murphy was still alive he would no doubt give all of his medals to Donny, saying, "Sir, I am honored, Sir, I never knew what real bravery was until I met you, Sir!"

What is Waltz a veteran of? Pencil pushing?
Well, he had to have surgery to fix his hearing from shell shocks so it appears he did a bit more than push pencils.

Walz did suffer health consequences from all those howitzer cannon booms. U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs records supplied by Walz after MPR News inquired about the scope and timing of the damage show he filed a claim for bilateral hearing loss and tinnitus with the agency in 2013.

In a benefits application, Walz spoke of blasts that "would knock us down and after firing I had ringing in my ears" and hearing loss that progressively worsened during his 21 years in the field artillery unit.

Medical records show that in 2005 Walz underwent stapedectomy surgery, a procedure in which damaged bones inside the ear are replaced with a prosthesis. He said it has improved his hearing.

Walz is about as “All American hometown hero” one could imagine.

The attempts to disparage him are quite amusing.

I actually hope JD Vance brings up some of this spin in their debate. I'd very much love to watch Walz run him over with a truck on this.

So you are a stalker? Good to know.....more that shows your untrustworthiness and lack of self-esteem.

It’s well known that not only did your hero not sign up, during a much bloodier war than Iraq, but he also went on to blather about how he liked people who “weren’t captured”.

Hmm.

Obviously, a p-bitch nancy boy coward who simped out and left his brothers in the lurch.
