That's essentially my point. Dealing with people like this is a losing strategy, and supporting people who demonstrate a willingness to act like this disgusts me to my very core.

I'd wager a bet that this is the exception, rather than the norm.

Not that I think we should be going to war with a bunch of countries half-way around the globe, but I also don't believe that something like this is representative of the normal attitude/ behavior of the Syrian Rebels.
