This is who Joe Biden is

Well, look at them in here. All of the vociferous Trump supporters seem to be cut from the same cloth. All they ever seem to talk about is gossip. Just bitter personal attacks. None of them seem to talk about issues anymore. They don't have any new ideas to discuss. It's just tearing other people down. That's the Trump Republican Party. Now compare and contrast that to the Reagan Republican Party. Back then, they actually had ideas, new ways of doing things... agree with those ideas or not, it was a positive message. We've got ideas and we're willing to put them up against your way of doing things. We don't need to engage in baseless personal attacks. They actually stood for something... nowadays, it seems like they're just against everything. They're like a bunch of faded old hags down at the laundromat gossiping about the neighbors. Maybe once upon a time they were beautiful and went out and did things and had a life and they lived it... but nowadays they don't - and all they do is spend their days gossiping about the people who do.

I figure people are either out their living their lives and doing things and making things happen... or they're the type of people who don't and just spend their time trying to tear down the people who do. I know which group I'd rather be in.

I'm telling you, the only thing the Trump GOP stands for is making "the libs" angry. Without that...they are a broken bunch of bitter people with empty slogans like "Make America Great Again!". There is absolutely no way for the party to remain competitive nationally in the long run with their current trajectory.

I guess H.W. Bush wasn't a Republican either, cause he didn't support Trump in 2016:lol:

You gotta love how these Trump trolls throw life long Republicans under the bus to defend some idiot who became a Republican just the other day. It's like the twilight zone.

It would be the equivalent if Ted Cruz woke up one day, decided to become a Democrat, gets elected president by Democrats, and Democratic voters throw former life long Democrats and Democratic president's like Obama, Carter, and Clinton under the bus, all to defend a guy who just became a Democrat the other day. The Republican voter base, most of them at least, are completely gone. No reasoning with them at this point.

All it does is confirm to me that they are a cult. A pathetic cult of followers of a man who spent his entire adult life voting for and donating to the very Democrats that make these people tinkle in their panties today.

They piss and moan about Schumer - and Trump helped fund and advance his political career. They carry on about the Clintons - and Trump was pimping Hillary to be POTUS in 2008, and donating to her campaigns and her husband's campaigns.

The ignorance that permeates Trump Fan Nation is astounding. He knew he needed to pretend to be a Republican because the Republican base, with a very few exceptions, was stupid enough to buy it.

They've been on this trajectory for a while now... if you wanted to trace it back to it's origins, it probably goes back to the whole Gary Hart episode. That's when they started turning away from ideas and toward personalities. You can plot the course... Gary Hart, the Willie Horton ad, Newt Gingrich making a name for himself with his baseless personal attacks on Speaker Wright.... doesn't take too long before they start losing the popular vote in 6 out of the 7 elections.

Lowlifes.webp

Here's the unholy trinity, right here... back around that time. Manafort, Stone and Atwater. Atwater died of a brain tumor shortly after he helped Bush, Sr. win in '88, but the other two have been at this game for a while now, for pretty much every Republican campaign. Find dirt, distort, hell, manufacture it if you have to.... whatever it takes, there was nothing too under-handed for these low-lifes.

Yep, and it was the Obama years, especially his second term, that drove them (Republicans) completely over the edge. Even in 2011 when Trump first became a birther, and was polling well in the beginning, his support dropped, when there was still some sane Republicans left that saw his "candidacy" as the gimmick it was. Even Andrew Breitbart in 2011 told Republican voters that Trump was a fraud.

But then Obama would go on to win re-election...and well that was it. At that point it became inevitable that the GOP base would flock to some lunatic race baiting con man as their next leader. And what better person for that than King Birther himself? The Trump presidency is the final nail in the coffin to the GOP's decades long ascent into far right wing radicalism..

no, he didn't. he took over an economy that was climbing for 6 years, claimed it as his own and a bunch of suckers like yourself believed the crook and con man.

shame you couldn't figure that out.

He took over an economy that was idling for 6 years.

^ and there you have a great example of why it was so easy for Trump to con a bunch of rubes.

The Leftists prove that "useful idiots" are a real thing.

yeah, because your post about our economy being idle before the con man was so accurate.

Trump didn't even need to try hard to con you people. Rush and Sean and Fox set you up like bowling pins and all Trump had to do was roll the ball.

It never ceases to amaze me how often people accuse others of what they themselves are guilty of.

Through projection, they call you what they are. They accuse you of doing what they’re doing or planning on doing. They throw all the uncomfortable feelings onto you because they don’t want to deal with them. They throw their shame on you so they don’t have to deal with it. They make you feel guilty for who they are and what they’re doing because they’re unable to feel that guilt themselves.

Do you still believe Trump is a Russian agent and removed mailboxes? :lamo

So you lie, just like Trump does. He will give you a cookie and a pat on the head.

I wonder how stupid you have to be to think that John McCain's campaign manager and Ted Cruz's campaign manager are leftists. Pretty damn stupid, I'd say.

Whats the lie? Whatever they used to be they are no longer. No one exemplifies that better than you do. Wilson and Schmidt are hardly the only examples of people who have gone from conservative to hate filled kook-fringe loons.

All this is a bunch of babble as to justify the so called party of "free thinkers" to sell their souls to a mobbed up orange con man because he currently has an R next to his name

You can be a Republican or Democrat, and not tow the party line every time. It's called having a mind of your own, which 95% of the GOP base lacks.

Thats false, stupid and evidence that even when I hold your hand through a discussion, you cant keep up.

Perfect example of you not being able to follow along. I explained this to you already but it goes in one ear and out the other with you.

Thats not whats happening.

That is a moronic analogy and evidence that no reasoning with you at this point.

Sure Fletch. Keep tap dancing to defend your indefensible position. Keep alienating everyone who doesn't worship your orange God, or tow the lousy agenda you want implemented.

Nobody buys your bogus explanation. Ironically, it's voters like yourself that's destroying the GOP. You must want permanent Democratic rule.

This ad from the Lincoln Project that came out today is one that shows who Joe Biden is at the core. For those that may not know, the Lincoln Project people are Republicans that realize that Trump is a negative to "our" country and want to get a better choice of person. Their objective is not political change to one extreme or the other, but simply to find the best person to lead the nation.

The other choice (Trump) has never shown any of this,

Nice stroll down memory lane. Not sure it applies now. Biden is not in control.

What is my indefensible position?

Nobody? You only get to speak for yourself, but I will allow you to speak for the TDS infected for obvious reasons.

That lifelong Republicans are no longer Republicans because they don't support some mobbed up conman and his "agenda".

These people are trying to save their party in the long term, because no way in hell will a Trump led GOP be viable nationally in the long run.

This was Joe in his first run for President, bad then, worse now.

What policies is Trump pursuing that a 'lifelong republican' would object to? And how does losing the White House, the Senate and the House 'save the party for the long term?'

Answer key: Nothing and it doesnt. The real con men are these leftist hacks at the Lincoln Project masquerading as republicans. As usual, the left is fooled by them but not the right.

Ah, so you admit Trump is pursuing a standard GOP trickle down agenda? Interesting, I thought he was supposed to be "different"?

Oh, and Trump losing does save the party in the long run. If you think the GOP will continue to be a viable party nationally while catering strictly to angry white conservatives and QAnon turds...I don't know what to tell you. The fact that you guys have lost the popular vote in the last 6 of 7 elections should be eye opening to you. Look at Bush and Trump. Both won their elections with razor thin margins. MUCH smaller victories than Clinton and Obama won. Hell, the last GOP president to win a presidential election with a strong mandate was H.W. back in 1988.

Trump winning in 2020 pretty much guarantees the Dems take the senate in 2022, and the whitehouse in 2024, and believe me, someone MUCH more to the left than Uncle Joe will get elected as a backlash to Trump.

But sure, as I said, completely shun anyone who doesn't worship your mobbed up orange God. They are all "leftist hacks" because they don't bow down to a con man who became a Republican just the other day. Whatever makes you sleep at night.

There is more to your basic GOP agenda than trickle down, but you just conceded my point. Thanks. The rest of your dopey post has nothing to do with the topic so...

LOL, no there isn't.

And my "dopey post" is just me pointing out your laughable partisan hypocrisy. You people are the ultimate "group thinkers".
