'This has to stop.' Trump's tweets bashing 'Morning Joe' hosts draw the ire **W:152*

Re: 'This has to stop.' Trump's tweets bashing 'Morning Joe' hosts draw the ire of Re

It is a shame we have a POTUS that can't behave like a decent human being, despite everyone on both sides knowing he shouldn't continue to behave this way.

But blame the media, it's the mature thing to do.

Who said I was blaming the media?

Re: 'This has to stop.' Trump's tweets bashing 'Morning Joe' hosts draw the ire of Re

It won't stop. I think that is obvious by now. We have a toddler in the White House. The best we can hope for is to distract him from playing with anything dangerous.

LOL he's got the world's most dangerous football following him, I think its a bit too late for that. :2razz:

Re: 'This has to stop.' Trump's tweets bashing 'Morning Joe' hosts draw the ire of Re

Simply because he responds in kind. If you are respectful, he will be. If you are disrespectful, he will be.

All part of that "brash" persona he won votes for. (I ignored the rest of the list because factually, despite the opposing narrative, personal opinion isn't "truth," just your way of looking at the evidence).

What did Kristen Stewart do against Donald Trump? That back in 2012 he tweeted over ten times about Kristen Stewart. That for some reason he was mad at her for cheating on Robert Pattison while Trump himself admitted of cheating against his previus wife. Also this is just one of many examples.

Re: 'This has to stop.' Trump's tweets bashing 'Morning Joe' hosts draw the ire of Re

Phycology 101: Are you stating you've never noticed that on many occasions Trump acts & responds like little boy--possibly a 9 or 10 year old boy--and today's tweets are a prime example of that. He is not replying to their criticism, and or addressing it in an intelligent adult manner--he is actually attacking them personally. They're looks, they're stupid, etc. etc.

We develope our root personalities at a very young age. Respect, honesty, integrity--whether or not you're considerate of other people's feelings, etc. etc. etc. These root personality traits stay with us the rest of our lives. What things you adopted as your signature root personality traits at 9 or 10 years old stays with you the rest of your life--including 71 year old men.

I have often seen comments that people believe Trump is on cocaine. I don't necessarily believe that--but he sure does act like it. He has this brain to mouth or tweety finger immediate response like children do. Never really thinking about the consequences of his behavior and what he says or tweets. He is a textbook example of a narcissist--and with it he is also a pathological liar. A narcissist world centers around him protecting himself--and to do that he has to blame others for his own actions and or behavior, and they have to lie a lot. He was never Presidential material, because he is too easily offended by others. You saw this every day on the campaign trail and during the debates. Many thought he was just joking, but he had no smile or smirk on his face. He didn't laugh when he made these type comments, he was serious.

PolitiFact awards Donald Trump its 'Lie of the Year' - POLITICO
A neuroscientist explains: Trump has a mental disorder that makes him a dangerous world leader

He's not going to change--this is ingrained behavior--and while it makes for great entertainment on late night comedy and SNL--it also spells disaster for the Republican party. They cannot work and get legislation done with them having to circle the wagons on Trump on a weekly basis which is what has been happening since he was sworn into office. He continually rolls his adminstration, he doesn't take their advice, and I am certain they have begged him to stop with the tweets. Being the narcissist he is---will insure that he will continue with his tweets in defense of himself.

Lol...no this doesnt " spell disaster " for the GOP.
The Demorats and the media's obession with bringing down Trump has produced how many Democrat wins in special elections so far ?

Dems are 0 - 5 for a good reason, and are the minority in both Houses for a good reason too

Trump hate and conspiracy theories dont inspire confidence in anyone but the Left. Your politicians and the media are just preaching to the choir.

The Democrats might make a difference if they switched over to policy base messaging but they have to get over their butthurt from losing the election first, and I havent seen any indication that thats going to happen anytime soon

Re: 'This has to stop.' Trump's tweets bashing 'Morning Joe' hosts draw the ire of Re

I don't have to defend anyone.

Look at what the libs/progressive/democrats are doing to themselves. That you don't see it reflected in the true polls, the elections, and not the proven wrong time and time again fabricated media ones is not only hilarious, but couldn't happen to a more deserving party and its failing ideology/credibility.

Aspired to, and achieved, irrelevance. Hear the people all around you laughing? Let me give you a clue, let you in on the joke, they aren't laughing WITH you...:lamo:lamo:lamo

Are you triggered today?

INSANE the word now being attached to the pigs name now and hopefully it will grow.

Re: 'This has to stop.' Trump's tweets bashing 'Morning Joe' hosts draw the ire of Re

It is truly entertaining to read through this thread and see that liberals and anti Trump repubs are upset at Trump for responding in kind to the horrible things spewed by Mika, yet they themselves respond in here in totally worse fashion to the oppo opinion in here....

Bunch of bald faced hypocrites if you ask me.

Re: 'This has to stop.' Trump's tweets bashing 'Morning Joe' hosts draw the ire of Re

The Dons briefings are no more than one page of bullet points, double spaced, with lots of colorful graphs. Reminds me of a few Colonels in the Air Force, low attention span unless she has beautiful eyes.

I bet they use single syllable words.

Re: 'This has to stop.' Trump's tweets bashing 'Morning Joe' hosts draw the ire of Re

Indeed. It shows that Trump is shooting himself, and his administration, and his agenda, in the feet, with his Twitter rants and Twitter slap fights.

If Trump would pass his Tweets past his communications staff, for a bit of polish before being Tweeted, I think all would be better, but, we'll see if the wisdom of this dawns on Trump or not. He is, after all, only a human being with human failings and frailties.

The 'news' (tabloid political propaganda) media, knowing and anticipating Trump's reaction, I'm sure are just egging him on. Sure, they lose, but I'm sure they want Trump to lose as well, and so far, seem they are the only ones on the losing end of this.

Has there ever been a time when the media didn't "Harass" presidents? Only now there's no policy beyond "It's going to be great, trust me folks."

I doubt too that any previous presidents identified the entire media industry as "the enemy", which may make some reporters lean a little toward letting his words kill him.

Third, you can't blame Trump's asinine comments on the worldwide left wing media conspiracy; he's the one insisting acting like a two year old.

Fourth, he is the president who has put limitations on the president covering him...another "GREAT" first for Trump.

So, if you think there's antagonism in the press corps, I am wiling to believe some reporters may be less professional than others, but they kind of fit for the most unprofessional person ever to enter the white house.

He reminds me of a politician here once, equally prone to idiocy and bad manners. He too got mad at the media, then a fellow member of parliament walked by and interjected "if you don't want to get covered in **** in politics, quit flinging it."

Whatever "hate" you people claim out there has been brought on by the actions of a president/mysogynist racist in the terrible twos. If he's going to act like a ****ing baby on everything, he has to be covered like a baby.

If ever he started acting like an adult and started actually answering questions, respecting others, others just might respect him.

Me, I have seen enough to know you can't put lipstick on a pig, and I am insulting pigs

"Has there ever been a time when the media didn't "Harass" presidents?"

Fair enough, if done on appropriately and on significant topics of policy and otherwise.

All the vitriolic and rank Trump name calling from the media certainly doesn't quality as legitimate.

Its truly entertaining to see that you have no standards for decency and behavior for a president of the USA.

Please show me where Donald has acted "appropriately" with the media. Show once where he has given them respect as working professionals at the top of their careers.

Meanwhile, are you suggested the media only report "significant" topic, and significant to whom? You see, that's the rub. Righties get angry when they hear of read something they don't like, and then attack the press. "significant to them is probably boring as **** to someone else. This is why the profession operates in a code called 'the five values" in determining what leads and what bleeds. Or do you think we just throw **** up in the air and lead with what falls first? And the rule of thump is the question: "what will they be talking about over water coolers at work?

In closing, can you name one rock star, resident, king, millionaire or other famous celebrity who has deliberately put themselves in the media even a third as much as Trump?

However "significant" to the right would be three months of coverage of how Trump "saved" Carrier, and no mention of the fact that many more jobs have gone to Mexico.

If an elected person to anything attacks the press, I start digging. Why? Because I want to get even?

No.

Because people who get angry over something they know to be 100% accurate are idiots, and they have made many mistakes and enemies, all of which is fair game the instant anyone files to run for office. Because they are more prone to shady dealings and screwing around on their partner.

And they are more prone to see the media, not as well educated and professional, but a gang of "enemies" who should be shot

He nailed Trump. This was in reference to an interview he did with Trump in 1996.. Read that again. 1996.

And because I live in NY and have known about Trump for 30+ years, I 110% agree. Back then, and NOW. Trump hasn't changed. He cares ONLY about Donald Trump and Donald Trump's wealth. THAT IS ALL!!

Again he nailed what Trump was about 21 YEARS ago. lol

Very, VERY bad deflection.

1996. LOL

Sucks to learn the guy hasn't changed in 20 years, he's been a conman, dishonest, wrong about almost everything and vain for 20 YEARS and he was elected president. Doesn't say much about the people who voted for him, does it?

Mica says there were FIVE lies in trumps tweet, as Trump has lied so often, and has zero credibility, I would lean towards Micas version. Its obvious the man has issues with women, and needs a therapist ASAP.
