They are not just obstructing Congress!

I understand, you have no historical understanding of how we " used to handle them a little differently ".

Yeah, but the real reason he does this is to pretend that it means something to ask an irreleveant question after a genuine answer.
He splits hairs like Paul Bunyan axes trees.

I'm curious, can you tip your hand for me?
After they do this official inquiry vote that you are jonesin' for what will be your next request?
What is the next step in this dance of irrelevance you have going on?
Genuinely curious.

Nothing, because after there's an inquiry vote, the Republicans will also have subpoena power and Trump's defense team will have access to everything. That's when the wheels will fall off the Democrat wagon and that's why their won't be a vote on the inquiry, muchless a vote in impeachment. You people are getting played like a cheap fiddle, if you think there's actually going to be an impeachment vote.

Great! I can't wait to see you hold up your end of that.
Also, I don't care if the Republicans get the subpoena power too, that is all well and good for me.
I do think you are wrong about there not being a vote for impeachment. But time will tell.

I don't care how the Senate votes. I care about a trial. A trial is the way we mete out justice in this nation. Until there is a trial there is no justice.
Are you so stupid as to not realize that the "trial"....HAPPENS IN THE SENATE?

GOOD FRIGGING GRIEF!

You will after this bull**** falls apart worse than the Mueller report...lol.

If there's no vote then it isn't happening.

Can you cite the statute that says that she must hold a vote before beginning an inquiry?

If it’s the law, then it’s certainly somewhere listed in the bylaws.

Show it to us. Please.

And none of this, “But Nixon, but Clinton” nonsense.

Show me where the law says she is required to hold a vote before beginning the inquiry.

Uh, the "Trump team" ALREADY has access to "everything"......and......wait for it......they are trying to DENY the House inquiry from accessing it .

Congress is a joke.

DJT ought to use the full weight of his office and not comply with congressional harassment of him, his staff, and his cabinet. If the leftists in congress want an "inquiry" then vote on it. Otherwise they can pound sand.

There is nothing in the constitution that requires a "vote". It's up to the discretion of the speaker. Pelosi announced a formal 'impeachment inquiry' when she was damn good and ready, and she'll do the same on the vote. But one thing she won't do, is to allow herself to be baited by the likes of people like yourself.

What you don't realize is that attitude can work both ways. The left will get back in power, sooner or later but from the looks of things, probably sooner.

What you sew is what you reap, as the saying goes.

So, if there are no checks an balances, we have tyranny. Tyranny creeps, I call it Fabian fascism, creeping fascism.

No matter how inept someone in power is, it is better than a tyrant. With a tyrant, there is chaos, the good are bad, and the bad are good and the good are made bad ( to snitch on neighborhoods and friends, true or not, all accusations welcome ) Dictators are friends, allies are expendable if they don't pay up.

With a Tyrant, lies are repeated, statues are built, names are slapped on buildings, images and names ( the Tyrant's image and name, of course) and there are parades, strutting our tanks and missiles for all to see.

That is North Korea. Who is more amenable to that sorry state of affairs, any dem candidate or Trump? I know of no dem who would have declared he or she was 'in love" with KJU. ANd don't give me "he's joking" BS. This is the office of the President Of the United States, you don't get to talk like some moron barfly. With Trump, we are moving in that direction, in baby steps. Anyone who disagreees, you seriously as **** need to open your eyes.

Your reading comprehension is more than a little bit lacking. We've been arguing for hours about whether the House has any desire whatsoever to put this to the Senate...where we can have a trial. We've been arguing about that because the House is outright refusing to vote on impeachment. They want this "trial" to happen in the media, not in a place where the accused gets to defend themselves.

I'm done with all this "inquiry" bull****. Either there is sufficient evidence to effect impeachment or there isn't. There have been more than three years of "inquiry" and still no case is being formally proffered.

No they don't. Trump's lawyers haven't been able to cross-examine a single witness. We don't know who the whistleblower is (I'm waiting to find out he's a foreign national).

Trump accommodated congress for nearly 3 years. It’s high time he stands up against them obstructing him.

You don't really believe in American democracy. It doesn't matter what you feel. You're supposed to follow the rule of law.

The House has a right to investigate. It's been a Republican House and Senate for 2 years. Trump has never had any oversight and when he did he refused to comply with anything.

They should just vote to impeach him and stop wasting time. Throw in obstruction of justice as another charge.

It's disappointing how you have abandoned the principles your country was founded on for your cult leader.

Uh, the context right now concerns Sondland. If the "trump team" doesn't know what he has to say, they are lost.

Have you ever considered that they want to investigate before impeaching? Isn't that the responsible thing to do?

Again this is utter stupidity, this is twilight zone crap, it is the product of a completely confused argument.

Is it deplorable too? I mean, if all you've got is name calling then you may as will bring the big guns.

The inquiry began on 9-29-19. You ought to just chill, Winston.

The "inquiries" began in June of 2016. This particular "inquiry" may have just started but it's just the latest in a long series.

So impeach. You guys have the most provable proof anyone has ever seen. It's beautiful proof. Maybe it's the most amazing proof anyone has ever had. I won't say that it is but nobody has ever had better proof. Just ****ing impeach.

I'm sure you'd love them to impeach without completing the investigation. That way you could spin more pathetically dishonest conspiracy theories about how it's really a frame up, since why didn't they want to fully investigate, yadda yadda.

You'll say anything. Fortunately, your words mean jack **** to anyone who isn't a Trumpist.

What about all that "investigation" that started in 2016? This crap has been going on for more than 3 years!

Sure.

You can't even differentiate between criticism of argument...and ad hom. "name calling" is ad hom, describing the utter stupidity of an argument....is not. Try a little harder.

Baloney. They want to keep up their media narrative through the 2020 election and that's all this is about. The LAST thing Democrats want to do is open this up so that Republicans can present their side.

Still conflating FBI investigations....with House impeachment inquiries. We already went over this, your arguments are going in circles.
