Why would the Biblical God issue a Commandment, he, himself, did/does not adhere to?
??????? I'll bite. Why would the Biblical God issue a Commandment, he, himself, did/does not adhere to?
Thou shalt not kill/murder.??????? I'll bite.
Which one is that ?????
Thou shalt not kill/murder.
He's a Democrat. Why would the Biblical God issue a Commandment, he, himself, did/does not adhere to?
I didn't say he did. Some theists go with "Thou shalt not kill"---Some go with "Thou shalt not murder"---Some go with either/or----So I offered up both. When did God murder anyone?
You may very well be in disagreement with @it's just me about that claim.----lolHe's a Democrat.
I didn't say he did.
"Broken" is 'your' word, not 'my' word. I believe God has not adhered to his Commandment of "Thou shalt not kill", and Biblical scripture clearly validates the Biblical God has killed millions and millions, including babies.Good so you agree that God hasn't broken any of his own commandments

It isn't murder or killing with God.
.
Having said that............................... God does not kill for no reason.

God doesn't break that commandmentThou shalt not kill/murder.
"Breaking" and "adhering to" ( see OP ) are two very different things. --- Exodus 22:24 ---> "And MY anger will be kindled, and I will "kill" you with the sword, and your wives will become widows, and your children fatherless."God doesn't break that commandment
Of course it does...Commandment #2
You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My Commandments.
Does this mean the statues in a church violate this and does a crucifix as well?
the Bible is not to be taken literally-------it was inspired by God but written by men. It is not a history book per se"Breaking" and "adhering to" ( see OP ) are two very different things. --- Exodus 22:24 ---> "And MY anger will be kindled, and I will "kill" you with the sword, and your wives will become widows, and your children fatherless."
I sure don't take it literally.the Bible is not to be taken literally-------it was inspired by God but written by men. It is not a history book per se

Because He is the only one who can give life, He is the only one who can take it .Thou shalt not kill/murder.
