Yes, the idiot Trump withdrawing from the nuclear deal gave them the green light to do whatever they want. Deals work both ways and the IAEA confirmed that Iran had been in full compliance with all aspects of the agreement until Trump reneged. Why should they keep their side of the bargain when America didn't?

What are those numbers? They don't seem to match the 1900+ deaths per million in the US, or 1400+ in Sweden. Also, Denmarks death rate is more like half of Swedens rather than almost the same. What about Brazil who also used a no lockdown style policy?? Check out their death rate.

Today? US cost to educate each student is STILL top 5, usually top 3, in the world, but the quality of the education purchased is mid 20's overall and mid 30's in the STEM disciplines.

When I was about 20 years old, it was considered a point of pride to be self sufficient in the world.

Today? It seems like that goal is not even a consideration. Honesty is regarded as a quaint and useless vestige of a quaint and useless, by-gone era.

Perhaps not to YOUR life or freedoms. If you never wanted to be responsible for either in the first place, the changes would not be noticed or may actually be welcomed.

The changes are obvious and the costs are ongoing and mounting.

SWEDEN, a country that shunned lockdown, is approaching close to zero daily coronavirus deaths.

It comes as the Nordic country's chief epidemiologist played down fears over the deadly Delta variant.

In the last 14 days, Sweden has recorded an average of 0.6 Covid deaths per day. In comparison, the UK has recorded an average of 74 deaths per day and the United States 329. Sweden's death rate per capita is several times higher than that of its Nordic neighbours but lower than some larger European countries.

So far, Denmark has recorded 2,550, Finland 982, Norway 799 - a far cry from Sweden's 14,620 recorded deaths.

In April, the king of Sweden blasted the country's anti-lockdown strategy.

King Carl XVI Gustaf told the state broadcaster SVT in an end-of-year interview that the number of deaths in Sweden was "terrible" and "the people of Sweden have suffered tremendously." Unlike the rest of the world, Sweden followed an unorthodox approach of not going into full lockdown.

But instead, the Government relied on voluntary measures in the hope of reaching herd immunity.
