The status of your NFL team thusfar

KC Chiefs allow 2nd most rushing yards of all time to a dude that wasn't even supposed to start the game. And two Kickoff Returns for TDs. Plus they blacked the game out locally because only about 20K were there.

KC Chiefs = EPIC FAIL!!!

Just a correction here, it was the third highest rushing total.

1. Adrian Peterson: 296
2. Jamal Lewis: 295
3. Jerome Harrison: 286

Even though playoffs are still a very slim chance, the fact we just beat the Colts makes me happy!
just a slight correction...you beat the colt backups....if the regs would have played, the jets were toast.

If the Bears don't fire Lovie Smith and Ron Turner and hire Mike Shannahan I'm going to boycott them next year.

guess you won't be watching any games...shanahan will be in washington.

You're probably right. Hiring Shanahan is the right decision, so the Bears will most likely opt against it...:(

No, they'll let him make personnel decisions.

Jerry Angelo should go. He hasn't brought a number one receiver here yet in how many years?

This team needs to be gutted. The roster is over-paid, over-rated, and aging.

We should trade or cut Olin Kruetz, and we should try and trade Urlacher, Tommie Harris, and Hester.

This will put us comfortably under the salary cap and can help bring some young talent to the team, but since this requires being aggressive and taking risks Jerry Angelo won't do it because he is a huge *****.

There's no cap next year, yet. Unless there is one in place befor March 1st, I wouldn't bother with the trades and just try to sign some young talent in free agency.

I thought there was no salary cap next year.

I'm in a football pool in which I have the opportunity to win the week. I am 1 behind the leader, and I'm guessing he picked Minnesota to win tonight. I'd love to go with Chicago, but there is nothing that I see that makes me think they have a shot. Can anyone give me some points that I might be missing (short of an intervention from god, LOL)?

Just get a coach who is worth a ****, and sign a decent receiver. Christ, if anybody underachieved with their talent this year, it was the Bears.

Minnesota's second string is better than Chicago's starters.

I thought so.

Even with 2 bad losses in a row, Minnesota is still my pick.

Even with the crap that's happening between Favre and Childress, Minnesota is still my pick.

Even with faggy purple uniforms, Minnesota is still my pick.

Yup, I should go with Minnesota. I'd rather lose this week, than a point in the overall race, as I am sitting in 3rd and poised to make a few bucks.

They have some talented players, but there's no talent on their o-line at all. That needs to be as big of a priority as a receiver if not moreso.

the pack is back

Now that the undefeated crap is behind us, we can concentrate on who will win the whole enchilada (sic).

I say the Colts are the team to beat unless SD decides to put a sock in LT's month, and they tell him to play ball instead of whine.

The NFC is a toss up. But, I'll root for AZ. Hopefully, they will be disrespected again and go to the SB under the radar. The only obstucle (sic) I see is GB, they scare me. NO is not playing good, Philly and Dallas can be beat by AZ, and Minn was already beat by AZ.
