So, what most Generation Z types are afraid of? Getting shot at school, work, a concert, the movie theater, etc.

Anytime one of these mass shootings occur, there's a swell in anti-gun reaction among voters.

Between mass shootings, guns are largely forgotten.

So, if you come up with a way to stop mass shootings, you'll never have to worry about someone taking your guns away.

There was a problem with automatic weapons back in the 1930s. They had too much firepower and crooks could overwhelm local police, robbing banks with impunity.

Congress passed a law restricting the ownership of automatic weapons. Everyone accepts it. It was just a common sense thing to do and it worked.

Why can't we come up with some common sense laws that will reduce mass shootings? The fewer mass shootings, the safer our guns are.

Because it's a people problem. In order to stop mass shootings we would need to concentrate on what makes people so eager to use a gun at the slightest perceived offense. That isn't a very good campaign slogan and it's not easy showing voters what kind of progress is being made. So instead of commonsense approach and taking a reasonable step to solve the problem, lpoliticians go for a bandaid scary gun ban that they can put in a 30 second then scratch their heads comming up with excuses why that didn't work.

you're absolutely wrong. The Dems attack gun ownership because gun owners are one of the GOP's largest voting blocs. Mass shootings are not what motivates gun banners

Mass shootings are not a significant threat to anyone. You're 100 times more likely to be killed by a drunk driver than in an actual active shooter incident. Yet somehow we don't see all the bleeding hearts telling us that drunk driving is a national epidemic or staging die-ins to promote national legislation making drunk driving a felony.

It's what generation Z worries about the most.

Every time a big mass shooting happens, people push for anti gun legislation.

Gun owners are mostly old, and dying off. Eventually they're won't be enough gun owners to protect the 2cd Amendment.

The "problem" was caused entirely by yet another idiotic progressive government law called the Volstead Act. The violence during the 20s was created entirely by government in general and progressives in particular.

Congress passed a law restricting the ownership of automatic weapons. Everyone accepts it. It was just a common sense thing to do and it worked.

It was the opposite of "common sense" and it didn't "work". By 1934 the progressive experiment in social engineering had been repealed and gun violence dropped like a stone, but the assholes passed the NFA anyway.

Then the solution is to teach Gen Z that they have bigger things to worry about, not pander to their irrational fears by restricting our rights.

Thanks for the post. That graph says it all. But now you're confusing the issue with facts and logic. That won't work here...they're on to you !!

Banning guns isn't going to stop mass shootings. If anything, it will cause them to occur more often.

The Leftists can't controll an armed populace and taking guns force, possibly triggering a civil war is counter-productive.

That must be why so.many happen in japan....oh....wait...

Despite the lies and hysteria you have been spoonfed, there has been a TOTAL of 112 mass killings using firearms going back to 1982. Only 17 have involved schools of ANY type. Do the math. There are some 300,000 language, trade, public, private, elementary, secondary and University schools in this country. ANNUALLY, you have a .0000015 percent chance of being involved in a mass killing at a school. Throw into that mix the number of legal gun owners we have and you will see you are seeking to attack the rights of over 140 million law abiding citizens over a .0000015% probability.

Are you REALLY sitting at home hiding under your sheets over that possibility? Is that REALLY what you think is driving the train behind gun bans, or do you think maybe just maybe the leftists that are in fact VERY MUCH for gun bans are using that to scare you into doing their dirty work?

Yeah.... Japan was well known for horrendous mass shootings prior to that big gun ban......oh...wait....
What year did the gun ban in japan take effect? Lol

That's the point. Japan never had a mass shooting problem. Gun ownership was never widespread. They do their killing with blades. They are a blade culture. And have one of the highest suicide rates in the world. But continue to compare apples and oranges, you amuse me.

So you are saying it works there

I thought so

Are you suggesting that the democrats will arrange for a mass shooting before the election?

I think I'll bookmark this just in case something does happen.

The commies are desperate to reverse the damage the Hunter emails have done, no telling what lengths they would go to.
