The Ill-Informed Might Tend to Vote for Obama [W:118]

I mean why not bring Hitler into it?

Obama... Hitler they're all the same right? Well... except that small business of trying to conquer the world and the systematic extermination of an entire people... but yeah just about the same.

So these few folks on Howard Stern... the pinacle of Political shows by the way... is suppose to... what Exactly? Do they represent all Obama voters?

Do you want me to find some videos of ignorant Tea Partiers and Romney Voters?

There's plenty out there.

Might I remind you that The Howard Stern show once had a small penis contest.

That's really all I need to know.

Carry on Partisan.

I have to chuckle at the Obama is like hitler crowd....its so weak that the only impact it has is a laugh or two

It's just downright disrespectful to the people still alive and to the memory of those who suffered because of what Hitler did.

It's bull**** whenever a democrat or a republican does it and anyone who does do it should be ridiculed mercilessly.

Absolutely...the thought of hitler brings to my mind full contempt for a very evil man....I wouldnt compare anyone to hitler. Ive gotten some emails from friends that compared obama to hitler it seems to be the far right blogoshpheres thing to do ...I just delete them...

Howard Stern Interviews Obama Supporters 2012 | RealClearPolitics

This video doesn't surprise me at all. People wonder how Hitler rose to power so quickly. Can you say ill-informed?

OK. Seeing as you are so well informed. Why don't you tell us why to not vote for Obama. Oh, and you can't use any of that "he's the worse...... marxist........socialist..........yadda, yadda, yadda." BS. Lets go policy by policy, what has he done that makes him comparable to Hitler?

I'm so sick and tired of hearing folks like you go on and on over complete BS.

You want to do this. Let's do this. Otherwise, you just make those people look like Harvard Graduates.

States that are among those considered firmly in Romney's column: W. Virginia, Kentucky, Arkansas, Alabama. Not exactly a whos who of culture and intellectual achievement. The GOP today consists of the Odd Couple alliance between silver spoon wannabe aristocrats and Bible thumping rednecks.

Because the reasons not to vote for him...are hard to find unless your one of the richest americans that stand to benefit VASTLY by a romney/ryan win....because if your just a middleclass guy...romney/ryan are going to strip your future nicely so the rich can get richer in the present

I get why some people would not vote for this President. When it comes to the social issues, Republicans will vote for Republicans, and dislike the policies set forth by this President or any other Democrat. Republicans also disagree about how and where government spends money, even though both sides spend like drunken sailors.

What I can't stand anymore is the over the top, drama queen baloney that is being thrown around. First off, there isn't a person on this planet who could have turned the economy around to being successful in just a short amount of time. Our economy (along with the rest of the worlds) has gone into the toilet. Do intelligent people REALLY think it should have been OK within a year? Do intelligent people REALLY think it should be good by now?

Enough of the ****ty little schoolyard name calling and lets grow up here.

It's a given that there are ill-informed idiots who will vote for Obama or Romney without knowing anything more that the people who Stern's people interviewed. There are also those who will vote based solely on the campaign ads they've seen. One can only hope that these people cancel each other out if they go to vote.

btw, to those of you who started barking at the Hitler dog whistle, you guys are almost as dumb as the people in the video. The OP made no comparison between Obama and Hitler. He was comparing the people interviewed with the people who elected Hitler.

Not quite buying that attempt to backpedal on the Hitler reference. The OP is saying these people would vote for someone as bad as Hitler. How did he reach that conclusion? Why because they support Obama of course. The link may not be A=B, but it is a lot less tenuous than you are making out.

Jay Leno does the same basic thing for his Jay Walking segment. They interview probably several dozen people, pick out the most ignorant, and string them together to provide the image of idiocy...all for laughs, mind you.

I've run into plenty of uninformed voters who were leaning left and plenty who were leaning right. I really don't think either party has the market cornered on ignorant voters.

Ummm...

You are going to have to explain how you got the highlighted statement out of the OP's remarks.

And please...try to keep the spinning rationalizations to a minimum, eh?

Come on now, LPast. Don't recite the same old tired DNC talking points and hyperbole. You're better than that.

There are PLENTY of middle class voters who languished under Obama and who do not feel likely to benefit from his policies in the next four years. And they'd have good reason to feel that way. We can talk about "the mess he inherited" or how much of the current situation is on his shoulders (both positive and negative), but at the end of the day, you can't speak for the entire middle class and sing Obama's praises to them.

Ah see we disagree Tess..The middleclass that languished the past 4 yrs wasnt because of anything obama has done...they would have been in the hole from outsourcing decreased benefits and lower pay by the big boys anyway.
If Romny/Ryan gets elected future middleclass will take it on the chin with SS and Medicare and even less benefits to feed ryans tax cut for the rich.
People dont realize just how many middleclass seniors NEED medicaid at the end after nursing homes suck every dime they ever made out of the....what romney/ryan wants to do to medicaid senior care is obscene

Just click on the link in my signature where it says the world according to republivision and you will find how dumb/racist some republican truly are (I know they are just a majority, but still, they are out there).
That is a great link. It's sad to think that so many people haven't progressed past the racial divisions and religious intolerance. It looks like these people was in the minority, which gives me hope. But, they do tend to be the loudest.

To be fair, a lot of people did vote for Obama because he said he would improve lives, the government, bipartisanship, stability, etc., etc., etc. They believed he was going to fundamentally change the country (that was his campaign buzzword, even).

Actually, Obama said he would work hard to get those things done. He never promised to be a miracel worker. He also said it would be hard work and we must be in it for the long haul. He spoke about how it would take all of us working together to bring this bad economic situation around. He doesn't speak like the typical politicians that vowes they WILL get these things done. That's one of the reasons I like him.

What ACA does to Medicare (medicaid is for the poor, not seniors) is "obscene". How about some balance, here? The ACA bill takes significant funding away from Medicare and claims to recoup the losses through cuts to provider payouts. The same payouts that have not increased in nearly a decade. I know you're smart enough to follow that issue to it's logical conclusion, but I'll say it anyway: Decreased payouts will lead to decreased providers, which will lead to decreased availability of care for seniors.

That's the democrat/Obama plan, not the Romney/Ryan plan.

So again, I respectfully disagree with your generalizations.

lol, this thread is Godwinned right off the starting line.
