The huckster denies ever supporting Josh Duggar

Classic damned if you do, damned if you do not. AKA, a BS story designed to make political points off of a terrible event.

More like "damned when you do" and then "damned when you deny you did it"

And Huckabee's defense of Josh Duggar, though disgusting, was not a "terrible event"

What Josh Duggar did was terrible, and I have not seen to date anything where Huckabee excused his actions.

The issue is not whether Huckabee "excused" his actions. It's whether or not he is now lying when he says he never defended Josh.

Unclear myself if Huckabee "defended Josh" either.
