Y'all wanted mail in voting. Don't start crying, now.
Universal mail-in voting is NOT backed by most states. Absentee mail-in voting is.
Not the same thing, and liberals know this.
When it comes to possibly being shot, no.
Tell that to Mr and Mrs Trump, both of whom will be voting absentee. Or are some people more equal than others...especially, you know, the white ones?
We want our rights
We want our rights
“What I decided was instead of waiting for continued legal analysis, was to move forward to say we are not going to allow additional drop boxes for this election,” LaRose said at a Wednesday news conference. “With under three months to go until Election Day, I don’t think it’s time to change the way we have done things here in Ohio and add new drop boxes and questions about the validity of that."
Early voting in Ohio begins Oct. 6, and the election is Nov. 3. Voters in Ohio do not need to have an excuse to request an absentee ballot, and under the CARES Act, each of Ohio’s 88 counties are required to offer a secure drop box for completed ballots and ballot request forms outside their board of elections headquarters.
Democrats and voting rights activists have advocated for more drop boxes in community centers and have accused LaRose of suppressing turnout in an election that is expected to see increased interest in mail-in voting due to concerns about the coronavirus.
“This has nothing to do with the legislature, who LaRose likes to blame for everything he doesn’t want to do,” Ohio Democratic Party Chairman David Pepper said on Twitter.
“This is his decision to artificially limit drop boxes to one per county. It’s a terrible decision, totally disregarding voter safety,” he added.
The federal government doesn't oversee elections.
It's a state affair.
You have your rights. There's no right to mail in voting.
The process of removing those machines has stoked fears that President Donald Trump and his allies in the executive branch are intentionally sabotaging mail operations in order to diminish the capability of the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) to sort and deliver mail-in ballots in a timely fashion for the 2020 general election.
“Tampering with the mail and federal elections are crimes no matter who does it,” federal criminal defense attorney Tor Ekeland told Law&Crime. “Just because you run the bank doesn’t mean you get to steal the money. This reeks of mail and election fraud–the scheme to defraud using the removal of mail sorting machines without reason as a means to inhibit mail in voting. These are felonies and should be investigated and prosecuted appropriately.”
You haven't lost any rights.
In-person voting, in booths with curtains, is the NORM.
Liberals want to CHANGE THE NORM.
There is no reason why polling locations can't be held open for two weeks, to prevent overcrowding.
Trump has the responsibility to prevent liberals from overhauling our entire election system. We tried to be patient, it didn't work.
The letter, and it's implications, are deliberate voter suppression and consistent with Trump's efforts to delegitimize voting. If people are not confident their votes will be counted...
Then we have this: Ohio rules out extra ballot drop boxes for November election (The Hill).
You have your rights. There's no right to mail in voting.
Because, for the 100th time lol, TRUMP CANNOT SAFELY VOTE IN PERSON.
He is not opposed to absentee ballots BTW. He has stated this.
Y'all wanted mail in voting. Don't start crying, now.
We want our USPS to be able to handle it too. Is that too much to ask? We will not stand for this subversion of our Constitution. Congress is granted the right to control the post office not the Executive.
Factually incorrect.
The USPS couldn't handle it before.
