The extremist GOP traitors

Damn. We're back to the idiotic dog whistles and terrorists crap. It looks as if the political left must resort to a collective mind because they're incapable of forming a single cogent thought individually.

They do not control Congress at all.

They control one of the houses, and voting to defund something is entirely within their authorized powers. It's one of the checks and balances purposely baked into the Constitutional cake.

Yes and they have tried forty times, after the house passed it, Senate passed, President signed it, and the Court upheld it. So what the Republicans ar doing is insane and hostage holding. If their plan had any merit Romney would have won, and they would have taken the senate and that didn't happen.

 You asked what "gives them the right?" Answered.

The term "Obamacare" has been a dog whistle since day one. Surveys even show that people who hear "Obamacare" are twice as likely to want it repealed than those who hear "Affordable Care Act".

Probably Republicans. Since they are the epitome of low information voters. And, seem to be the only ones wanting to defund the new law.

Well it would seem your own graphic belies your inability to see the facts clearly.

You're absolutely wrong and I really can't go much further than that. You've chosen to single me out for silencing and you certainly ignore the vitriol coming from what you call "the other side". I'm well aware of where you might want to take this and I'm not going there with "your con" friends.

I feel like we're having two different discussions. I have no power to "silence" you or who you think my "con" friends are. I just know that no matter how off the wall something is, if it bashes the right you're on board. You're Harry Reid's wet dream.

I don't know why you think you need to be careful what you say to me, but you see eveything as "us vs them" and "they're evil and pretty much not even human or Americans" etc. It's very elementary thinking.
You gotta admit though, it is consistent.

FWIW - this has to be one of the most hilarious "gotchas" of this whole boondoggle, and one that inadvertently belies attitudes like theirs: http://dailycaller.com/2013/10/03/n...-****yo-to-reach-obamacares-national-hotline/

This extremist fringe group says the plan is to kill the ACA. Why? Because its author is a black man!!

This statement is a pile of horse****. I don't agree with how the GOP is handling it, but they are hardly against it because Obama is a "black man". If Obama lost the election in 2012, the GOP would STILL be against the ACA. So the reason isn't racial.

These extremist are marginalizing the Republican Party by making it the party of the irrational, the party of the stupid, the party of the nonparticipants. What these extremists are doing amounts to a conspiracy. Perhaps they should be taken to court for breach of the contract for America. Or charge them with a crime such as endangering the security of the nation. Their behavior is attempted obstruction of justice for all.

What crime have they commited and I'm sure you can show me the EXACT law they are breaking. No, they are actually following the law and procedures they have at their disposal. You may not like what they are doing (I sure as hell don't), but this is all perfectly legal.

Your comments are no different than when conservatives on boards would tell people they were traitors for not supporting Bush in the Iraq war.

The Republicans are "racist criminals " ???

LOL !!

THIS is the best the left has to offer up ???

"Yeah." A little word that says so much! It should be used more in DC!

Greetings, EdwinWillers. :2wave:
:2wave: ....as long as it's used for the right things.

:2wave: ....as long as it's used for the right things.

As rare as it is, and thus scarcely used, lessons will doubtless have to be given as to the correct pronunciation and proper times to use it. That shouldn't take more than a few years though, and would be money well spent! :2brickwal:

Removal from office is the only way to deal with the freakish tea partiers and their utter nihilism. I've gotten dozens of emails showing that recall elections are going to start brewing in a number of districts to get rid of them and their collaborators.

When the GOP forces a default (as they will in a couple weeks) and a million people are thrown out of work, the pressure will be unstoppable to remove these traitors from office.

feel better now.... after getting that off your chest?

Problem is the VAST majority of the Tea Party caucus is from states without recall elections:

Try again...

Nope, you watch too much television. Normal people find the tea partiers freaks. When their havoc on the economy is finally exposed, normal Americans will remove the freaks one way or another. It's Democracy, baby

Too much TV indeed...Did I miss the part where you addressed that 'state recall' is not universally available in all 50...or that the VAST majority 68% of those currently in the Tea Party caucus come from states without recall?

We don't have to remove all the freaks to defeat them. Just enough.

Bye bye tea party., Let the recalls begin!

Used to that extremists were people who threw bombs and kidnapped people, stuff like that. When did the definition of an extremist become "anyone who disagrees with me"?

They believe their ideology is more important than anything else. The vast majority of these people tend to be older white males.

A group of Republicans trying to gain favor with insatiable tea party types, all of whom are the beneficiaries of nationalized pensions and health care, are taking money away from hard working government employees. And eventually the rest of the people.

They are drawing their own solid salaries while making it harder for government employees to make their house payments and to put food on the table.

This extremist fringe group says the plan is to kill the ACA. Why? Because its author is a black man!! They know it won't work but this is about pandering. Let's hope they notice that millions of Americans are scrambling to sign up for the new insurance system.

I don't care for the extremist ideology of either the left or right. I also do not know if the ACA will be good or bad for the country. But I do know when passed 58% of Americans were against it and according to CNN those who oppose the ACA today is at 57% vs only 38% in favor, ABC/WASHINGTON POST has it 52% oppose 42% for, USA Today 52% oppose 41% favor and FOX news has it 54% against, 35% for. If the ACA was put to a vote by the American people, it would lose big time.

Like it or not, the ACA or Obamacare has become a symbol of going against the peoples wishes for a political party's agenda. Having said all of this, I do think the Republicans are the stupid party for shutting down government over defunding the ACA. If they were smart, they would let the law kick in full fledge and let the people decide on it come November 2014. I do think as of this moment, Boehner and the tea party Republicans are the Democrats and the ACA best friend.

People seem to be signing up at a brisk rate. So it appears the opposition to the ACA, ginned up by the rightwing noise machine, is predictably diminishing as people actually see how it works rather than just hear the agitprop against it.

We will see. Personally I do not believe it is as bad as the Republicans say it is or as good as the Democrats say it is. The truth as usual is somewhere in the middle. All I am say is if the people had a vote on the ACA today, it would lose and be repealed. What happens tomorrow or when it is fully implemented, who knows. The people may end up liking it or hating it. Time will tell and I am more than willing to wait and see. I also think the Republicans should have adopted my philosophy on the ACA. Especially if they think it is that bad that it will drive voters into their rank.

Have at it hoss...we'll just sit back and watch...as I said previously you probably shouldn't use OWS' tactics...;)

Can you provide a reliable source for this?
