Thing is that really was not the biggest issue, that was trump having a WH/CDC set of guidelines that we should be following and then he promptly ignored them himself and even publicly made fun of those that did, that Sir, in NOT Leadership and as a result there are deaths of Americans that can be directly attributed to trump. You will never see Biden do anything as stupid, count on that.

Do you believe they produced it and spread it intentionally? Some folks on your side of things seem to. What do you say to them?

If they just took advantage of the situation and used it as leverage against Trump, sure yeah it's politics. Frankly, COVID was the 2020 MVP for the Dems because they were not on track to win before that, I don't think.

If Trump had successfully managed that response he'd probably still be in office, but he didn't have it in him to even just be quiet and get out of the way of the experts. Instead it was what it was.

I wish it was hilarious but knowing that over a third of the country has this mindset is actually frightening, because that is what one encounters in third world countries. Most third world countries REMAIN that way no matter what because a third to half the people refuse to extricate themselves from belief in hocus pocus.

You can feed them all the scientific fact you want and they will just return with blank stares and tell you with a straight face that some witch doctor told them science is what evil satanists believe in.
Substitute "satanists" with any number of words and the nuts and bolts are the same:

I thought the idea in the cartoon that Bernie tagged with the economy tanking for his "Socialist" views standing right next to Mr Wall St was telling. Trumpism is such confused nonsensical horse shit that you end up with crap like that. The cartoonist was so anxious to get all his little meaningless points in there that he forgot to check if there was any logical to them AT ALL.

Sure, there's an obvious point that Biden will be the slave of various interests, that's clear, although the reasons why are a complete mystery. I'd wonder the same thing if Trump were in the same spot. Each cartoon would make the same amount of sense.

Looking at it more closely-- "Deep State," which most dismiss as a rightwing conspiracy theory, the weirdness with Bernie, and all--normal people would likely conclude that the cartoonist was either deranged/delusional or was making cartoons for the deranged/delusional.

But just as there aren't many successful conservative comedians, there also aren't many well-drawn cartoons for rightwingers either, and so I wish this guy well.

He's filling a need.
