The cult called islam was founded by mohammad. He was a servant of a very successful and wealthy lady named kadijah. Later kadijah married him, he being a very young man of 25 and she being an older woman of 40. At that time before islam, women such as kadijah were able to achieve power and success but that soon changed after the rise of islam in which women had to hide behind curtains and veiled.

Before islam, the town of mecca was a pagan center for pagan pilgrimage to the kaabah. The kaabah is a black cube structured erected by the meccans to house their 360 rock idols for worship. At that time pagans, Jews and Christians were living together in mecca and nearby towns such as Khaybar and Yathrib (which later became Medina). But, that would soon change after the rise of islam. After mohammad took over, all pagans either accept conversion or die. Jews and Christians were considered as “people of the Books” and at first were given the options of conversion or pay a jiza tax and to live a humiliated life of third class citizens. Soon, they were done with altogether and as such there is none of them even in the whole of saudi arabia up to this day. The sad part is that Yathrib was a town where the Jewish and pagan Arabs gave refuge to mohammad and his followers when they flee from mecca. In times, mohammad became powerful through raiding meccan caravans. Then, he and his followers turned on their backs and attacked the innocent people of Yathrib. They were some muslims who saw this and knew it wasn’t right. But, they were tagged as “renegade” by mohammad and were eventually destroyed. This “renegade” stuff was coded in the quran by mohammad to justify his action as sanctioned by allah. This is also how modern day islamic terrorists who migrated to the west justify their evil act against their host country as sanctimonious.

According to Islamic tradition, the cult came about when one day mohammad decided to go into a cave to meditate. In the dark of the cave, there he suddenly felt a spirit holding him very tightly from behind and telling him to read. Mohammad told him he couldn’t read. The spirit then sqeezed him very tight until he was in great pain and was about to faint. Again, he said he couldn’t read and the spirit squeezed him even harder. The third time he was squeezed he was about to die and then the spirit told him to repeat after him the verses that became the first part of the quran.

At the beginning mohammad thought he was visited by a demon or an evil spirit. He ran to his wife who sought help from her cousin who was a well versed Christian. This cousin told mohammad that the spirit is Gabriel. That’s how the tradition of Gabriel being the angel who revealed all the quranic verses to mohammad (from here on refer as “mo”) came about.

With that confidence, mo decided to preach in the city of mecca. Mecca at that time was a tolerant pagan city that accepted Christians, Jews and Zoroastrians from the east. But, mo was intolerant of other religions, especially against the idol worshipping pagan religion. He began to mock the pagan gods until the keepers of the kaabah was concerned because it drove the pilgrims from coming to town for the rituals. They tried to get him to be civil but mo won’t give in. They tried to negotiate with him by offering money, power, or even sending him to counseling if he was suffering from some mental illness, but he won’t accept. They tried to arrest him for trouble making but he was protected by his uncle who had power and influence in the city.

At one point in mecca, his elderly wife died. Soon his followers suggested he married a woman they think would be good for him. After this marriage, mo had his eye set on a 6year old daughter of his companion, abu baker. At first baker was reluctant, but mo convinced him it’s allah’s will. According to the child bride’s (ayeshia) own account, mo consummated the marriage when she was 9. Further down the road, mo married again several wives, some were Jewish teenagers captured during mo's attack on their villages that killed all their family members.


When his uncle also passed away, mo knew he could no longer stay in mecca, that’s why he decided to emigrate to a nearby town. At first he went to Taif to ask for refuge, but the town chief wouldn’t accept him. On his way back, he rested in garden from the heat. A Christian man saw him and offered him some grapes and water. But, that would soon changed after the rise of islam. The kindness of the Christian man won’t be repaid in kind, but with evil from mo.

Then mo went to Yathrib, which happened to need a mediator to resolve a tribal conflict, and thus mo was asked to settle the dispute for them. Unfortunately, after the rise of islam, mediation is no longer an approach to settle a dispute, but violent bloodshed and terrorism was and is the weapon of choice for Islamic way of settling any dispute.

In Yathrib and nearby town, Jews and non-muslim pagans were slaughtered and all their possessions and properties were confiscated by mo and his followers. People who wrote poems about the evil ways of mo’s dealing were brutally slaughtered in the homes just as is practiced today by devout muslims to non-muslims who dare to criticize islam, mo or draw cartoons. The whole town of Yahrib and nearby town such as khaybar were sacked and slaughtered. In one town, some 600 men and pubescent boys were beheaded. Women and children were raped, sold or divided among themselves as slaves and sex slaves.

This is just a tip of the iceberg on the evil of mo’s Islamic way. To know more about islam's great evil, read ishaq, tabari, the ahadith and quran. The quran itself doesn't make any sense since it is all jumble up without any context. Ishaq and tabari and the ahadith put the quran into context and timeline.

Remember, a cult that masquerades a religion is not a religion just as a blackhole masquerading a morning star is not a star.

Simply, a cult is an organization or establishment masquerading as a religion to achieve a political or other insiduous motives.

A true religion doesn’t kill a renegade, a cult do. In islam, a deserter must be killed according to its sharia law.

A true religion can withstand criticism, a cult can’t and will kill for their pride. We all know how extensive the violent mayhem occurred en mass in Islamic countries when some one drew a cartoon of mo, or burnt a quran, or merely criticize the cult of islam. At least the cult practice usually go after the ones who did the offense, but in islam, muslims go after innocent people who had nothing to do with the offense others caused. So, in this regard, islam is worst than a cult.

A true religion does not set an example and approval for an old man with one foot in the grave to take a 6 or 9 year old little girl as wife, some cult might, such as David Koresh’s Branch Davidian. David Koresh took little girls for wives but just for him and not for his followers. In islam, many old muslim men took young girls in their early teens as wives according to the example set by mo.

A true religion does not condone a man taking many wives; some cults do, such as David Koresh who married several women besides young girls. In islam, muslim men are allowed to many up to four wives, though mo had more than four ( more than 19). His excuse is that allah gave him special privilege.

Okay here goes. Let's look at Muhhamed words. Here is a few letters he wrote or actually had transcribed for him since he was likely illiterate.


“This is a message from Muhammad ibn Abdullah, as a covenant to those who adopt Christianity, near and far, we are with them.



Verily I, the servants, the helpers, and my followers defend them, because Christians are my citizens; and by Allah! I hold out against anything that displeases them. No compulsion is to be on them. Neither are their judges to be removed from their jobs nor their monks from their monasteries. No one is to destroy a house of their religion, to damage it, or to carry anything from it to the Muslims’ houses. Should anyone take any of these, he would spoil God’s covenant and disobey His Prophet. Verily, they are my allies and have my secure charter against all that they hate. No one is to force them to travel or to oblige them to fight. The Muslims are to fight for them. If a female Christian is married to a Muslim, it is not to take place without her approval. She is not to be prevented from visiting her church to pray. Their churches are to be respected. They are neither to be prevented from repairing them nor the sacredness of their covenants. No one of the nation (Muslims) is to disobey the covenant till the Last Day (end of the world).”

Here is a second letter. Granted these conditions aren't perfect, but they are no harsher than other such treaties at the time and better than some.
God has told me in a vision what to do, and I confirm His command by giving my solemn promise to keep this agreement.



To the followers of the Islam I say: Carry out my command, protect and help the Nazarene nation in this country of ours in their own land. Leave their places of worship in peace; help and assist their chief and their priests when in need of help, be it in the mountains, in the desert, on the sea, or at home. Leave all their possessions alone, be it houses or other property, do not destroy anything of their belongings, the followers of Islam shall not harm or molest any of this nation, because the Nazarenes are my subjects, pay tribute to me and will help the Muslims. No tribute, but what is agreed upon, shall be collected from them, their church buildings shall be left as they are, they shall not be altered, their priests shall be permitted to teach and worship in their own way-the Nazarenes have full liberty of worship in their churches and homes. Almal. A common man shall pay one denar (piece of money), but the merchants and people who own mines of gold and silver and are rich shall pay twelve denars. Strangers and people who have no houses or other settled property shall not have taxes levied upon them. If a man inherits property he shall pay a settled sum to the Baitulmal treasury. The Christians are not obliged to make war on the enemies of Islam, but if an enemy attacks the Christians, the Muslims shall not deny their help, but give them horses and weapons, if they need them, and protect them from evils from outside and keep the peace with them. The Christians are not obliged to turn Muslims, until God’s will makes them believers.



“The Muslims shall not force Christian women to accept Islam, but if they themselves wish to embrace it, the Muslims shall be kind to them.



“If a Christian woman is married to a Muslim and does not want to embrace Islam, she has liberty to worship at her own church according to her own religious belief, and her husband must not treat her unkindly on account of her religion. If any one disobeys this command, he disobeys God and his prophet and will be guilty of a great offense.



“If the Nazarenes wish to build a church, their Muslim neighbors shall help them. This shall be done, because the Christians have obeyed us and have come to us and pleaded for peace and mercy.



“If there be among the Christians a great and learned man the Muslims shall honor him and not be envious of his greatness.



“If any one is unjust and unkind to the Christians he will be guilty of disobeying the Prophet of God.



“The Christians should not shelter an enemy of Islam or give him horse, weapon or any other help. The peace of God be over them all! This agreement is written by Moavijah Ben Sofian, according to the dictates of Muhammad, the Messenger of God, in the 4th year of the Hegira in the city of Medina.

Now let's look to the Quran itself: “Let there be no compulsion in religion. Truth has been made clear from error. Whoever rejects false worship and believes in God has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that never breaks. And God hears and knows all things.” (2:256)

“If it had been your Lord’s will, all of the people on Earth would have believed. Would you then compel the people so to have them believe?” (10:99)

“So if they dispute with you, say ‘I have submitted my whole self to God, and so have those who follow me.’ And say to the People of the Scripture and to the unlearned: ‘Do you also submit yourselves?’ If they do, then they are on right guidance. But if they turn away, your duty is only to convey the Message. And in God’s sight are all of His servants.” (3:20)

To understand why these things occur, you have to go beyond what your media is telling you, once you start getting behind all that stuff, and realising just how closed wrapped the American media actually is, you'll see you've been deeply misinformed, one has to look at history and the geo-political realities on the ground to understand why this stuff occurs.

There is some truth to that, but ultimately Islamic jurisprudence never suffered the kind of intellectual defeats that Catholicism and orthodox Christianity did in Europe. The climate is a factor, but so is the foundation of the religion itself -- the Koran is not merely a holy book. It was written by a man who acted as the head of a government when he wrote it, and acted in his role on the authority of god. In that sense, it is really more like a constitution by a founding father than a document.

If the OP had been a long diatribe against Christianity, Islam would likely never even come up. Islam is no more or less a religion than any other. It should be lauded or criticized on it's own and not have to rely on comparisons to defend it.

You can bring all the quotes you want, but the fact is that the Koran has rather conflicting verses, just as any holy book does...not to mention to body of saying attributed to Mohammed outside of the Koran. It's not really a strong point. People choose which parts of religion they want to believe, and Muslims must make the more cosmopolitan choice.

Again, I never once disputed that the Torah could not be used negatively or literally. Nothing I said constitutes that denial, and I am against political religion in general. I am merely saying that the Koran was written by a man who acted as the head of a government at the time of writing, with divine permission. It is the record of one man's commands to his people....so really, it's more like a constitution than even the Torah or the Bible, which were written by several different writer over a wider range of time. And again, I reiterate; Islamic jurisprudence never suffered the kind of intellectual defeats that Catholicism and orthodox Christianity did in Europe. It simply did not happen. Not until the 1950s did we see secular self-rule in the Middle East...and even then it was premature, and allowed Islamism to retake the upper hand.

If the OP had been a long diatribe against Christianity, Islam would likely never even come up. Islam is no more or less a religion than any other. This mindless false comparison has been regurgitated so many times already on the internet and yet some people just seems unable to do a basic reading of the scriptures of each religion or “religion” in question, then look at the behavior of its followers to see whether they conform or not conform to its teaching to make the right conclusion.

The outcry about violence done by Christianity is an oxymoronic point when you read what is really taught in Christianity. Christians are told to take up the cross and follow the example of Christ. The core teaching of Christianity is:

1) Love God with all your heart, mind and soul
2) Love thy neighbor as thyself
3) Turn the other cheek

Jesus even taught that there is no greater love than a man who lay down his life for another. Martyrdom in Christianity means willing to die when you're attacked for your belief in Christ. On the contrary, in islam devout muslims will kill you for their beliefs and will be idolized as martyrs when they were killed in the process of committing mass murders. Nowhere had there been violence done by so-called “Christians”where the perpetrators screamed out in the name of Christian God like the homicidal muslims did. If they did, they didn’t follow the tenets of Chrisitianity.

In islam, however, muslims were taught to:

1. fear allah and emulate mo
2. Instill terror in infidels (Qur'an:8:1 "I will instill terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them.")
3. War against the "House of War" (i.e. infidel land) until all religions belong to allah

Ordinary people who committed violent crimes were simply criminals; their faith is merely incidental and had nothing to do with their act. If they had truly become Christians they would not have committed any crimes. Criminals who accepted Christ will turn from their evil ways.

Normal human beings converted to islam and when religiously devout will turn violent. John Walker Lindh, Richard Reid, and others such as Zachary Adam Chesser who threatened violence against attack “South Park” writers and adulhakim mohammad who went on a killing rampage against US soldiers at a military recruiting center. He himself had written letters to justify his killings on islam’s religious principles.

When muslims did violence against innocent people they followed exactly to what was done by mo when he attacked a Jewish tribe of Khaybar:

Ishaq:511 "When the Apostle raided a people he waited until morning, and then he attacked. We came to Khaybar by night. When morning came and he did not hear the call to prayer, he rode and we rode with him. We met the workers of Khaybar coming out in the morning with their spades and baskets. When they saw the Prophet and our army they cried, ‘Muhammad with his force.' They turned tail and fled. The Apostle yelled, ‘Allahu Akbar! Khaybar is destroyed.' When we arrive at a people's square, it is a bad morning for them."

Then the inhabitants of Khaybar came out running on the roads. The Prophet had their warriors killed, their offspring and woman taken as captives. Safiya was amongst the captives, She first came in the share of Dahya Alkali but later on she belonged to the Prophet . The Prophet made her manumission as her 'Mahr'. Muhammad was sixty (60) when he married Safiyyahh, a young girl of seventeen. She became his eighth wife.

Notice that these Jewish victims of Kaybar were innocent farmers going about their daily business of getting up with their spades and baskets to go to work. This is exactly what modern day islamic terrorists are doing when they strike terror at innocent civilians by killing them en mass. You may say that this is just a historical account, but in islam it’s different. The followers of islam were told to emulate the examples of mo and that’s exactly what devout islamic terrorists are doing. Remember years ago when muslims were protesting in UK en mass with sign held up high to the camera that said, “Remember Khaybar?” They proved to us that the islamic actrocities in historical past transcend all times and can happen again anytime in the present at their whims.

Ishaq:511 "When the Apostle raided a people he waited until morning, and then he attacked. We came to Khaybar by night. When morning came and he did not hear the call to prayer, he rode and we rode with him. We met the workers of Khaybar coming out in the morning with their spades and baskets. When they saw the Prophet and our army they cried, ‘Muhammad with his force.' They turned tail and fled. The Apostle yelled, ‘Allahu Akbar! Khaybar is destroyed.' When we arrive at a people's square, it is a bad morning for them."

Narrated by Anas:
The Prophet offered the Fajr Prayer near Khaybar when it was still dark and then said, "Allahu-Akbar! Khaybar is destroyed, for whenever we approach a (hostile) nation (to fight), then evil will be the morning for those who have been warned." Then the inhabitants of Khaybar came out running on the roads. The Prophet had their warriors killed, their offspring and woman taken as captives. Safiya was amongst the captives, She first came in the share of Dahya Alkali but later on she belonged to the Prophet . The Prophet made her manumission as her 'Mahr'. Muhammad was sixty (60) when he married Safiyyahh, a young girl of seventeen. She became his eighth wife.

Bukhari:V4B52N220 "Allah's Apostle said, 'I have been made victorious with terror.'"​

Notice that these Jewish victims of Kaybar were innocent farmers going about their daily business of getting up with their spades and baskets to go to work. This is exactly what modern day islamic terrorists are doing when they strike terror at innocent civilians by killing them en mass. You may say that this is just a historical account, but in islam it’s different. The followers of islam were told to emulate the examples of mo and that’s exactly what devout islamic terrorists are doing. Remember years ago when muslims were protesting in UK en mass with sign held up high to the camera that said, “Remember Khaybar?” They proved to us that the islamic actrocities in historical past transcend all times and can happen again anytime in the present at their whims.

Did you totally ignore the verses I posted and the the letters of Muhammad wrote? Oh, don't try and deny and weasel your way out of the violence done by Christianity. It has the blood of thousands on its hand. It no better than Islam. Humanity will be better when both are gone. You do realize that during the Crusades when the Christians took Jerusalem they put every man, woman, and child to the sword regardless of belief. The crusaders horses waded their blood as high as their knees. How about the Lord's Resistance Army in Uganda? The Inquisition? The various religious wars between Catholics and protestants? The fact that Christan Rome forced the pagans to convert. or die This myth that Christianity wasn't spread by violence is a nothing but historical falsehoods. Oh, and if you want to quote violent go the the Old Testament. That God is nothing but a murderous tyrant. Face it your religion is no better than Islam. The sooner they are both regarded as the myths they are the better humanity will be.

Okay here goes. Let's look at Muhhamed words. Here is a few letters he wrote or actually had transcribed for him since he was likely illiterate.


“This is a message from Muhammad ibn Abdullah, as a covenant to those who adopt Christianity, near and far, we are with them.



Verily I, the servants, the helpers, and my followers defend them, because Christians are my citizens; and by Allah! I hold out against anything that displeases them. No compulsion is to be on them. Neither are their judges to be removed from their jobs nor their monks from their monasteries. No one is to destroy a house of their religion, to damage it, or to carry anything from it to the Muslims’ houses. Should anyone take any of these, he would spoil God’s covenant and disobey His Prophet. Verily, they are my allies and have my secure charter against all that they hate. No one is to force them to travel or to oblige them to fight. The Muslims are to fight for them. If a female Christian is married to a Muslim, it is not to take place without her approval. She is not to be prevented from visiting her church to pray. Their churches are to be respected. They are neither to be prevented from repairing them nor the sacredness of their covenants. No one of the nation (Muslims) is to disobey the covenant till the Last Day (end of the world).”

Here is a second letter. Granted these conditions aren't perfect, but they are no harsher than other such treaties at the time and better than some.
God has told me in a vision what to do, and I confirm His command by giving my solemn promise to keep this agreement.



To the followers of the Islam I say: Carry out my command, protect and help the Nazarene nation in this country of ours in their own land. Leave their places of worship in peace; help and assist their chief and their priests when in need of help, be it in the mountains, in the desert, on the sea, or at home. Leave all their possessions alone, be it houses or other property, do not destroy anything of their belongings, the followers of Islam shall not harm or molest any of this nation, because the Nazarenes are my subjects, pay tribute to me and will help the Muslims. No tribute, but what is agreed upon, shall be collected from them, their church buildings shall be left as they are, they shall not be altered, their priests shall be permitted to teach and worship in their own way-the Nazarenes have full liberty of worship in their churches and homes. None of their churches shall be torn down, or altered into a mosque, except by the consent and free will of the Nazarenes. If any one disobeys this command, the anger of God and His Prophet shall be upon him.



“The tribute paid the Nazarenes shall be used to promote the teachings of Islam and shall be deposited at the treasury of Beth
Almal. A common man shall pay one denar (piece of money), but the merchants and people who own mines of gold and silver and are rich shall pay twelve denars. Strangers and people who have no houses or other settled property shall not have taxes levied upon them. If a man inherits property he shall pay a settled sum to the Baitulmal treasury. The Christians are not obliged to make war on the enemies of Islam, but if an enemy attacks the Christians, the Muslims shall not deny their help, but give them horses and weapons, if they need them, and protect them from evils from outside and keep the peace with them. The Christians are not obliged to turn Muslims, until God’s will makes them believers.



“The Muslims shall not force Christian women to accept Islam, but if they themselves wish to embrace it, the Muslims shall be kind to them.



“If a Christian woman is married to a Muslim and does not want to embrace Islam, she has liberty to worship at her own church according to her own religious belief, and her husband must not treat her unkindly on account of her religion. If any one disobeys this command, he disobeys God and his prophet and will be guilty of a great offense.



“If the Nazarenes wish to build a church, their Muslim neighbors shall help them. This shall be done, because the Christians have obeyed us and have come to us and pleaded for peace and mercy.



“If there be among the Christians a great and learned man the Muslims shall honor him and not be envious of his greatness.



“If any one is unjust and unkind to the Christians he will be guilty of disobeying the Prophet of God.



“The Christians should not shelter an enemy of Islam or give him horse, weapon or any other help. If a Muslim is in need the Christian shall for three days and nights be his host and shelter him from his enemies. The Christians shall, furthermore, protect the Mohammedan women and children and not deliver them up to the enemy or expose them to view. If the Nazarenes fail to fulfil these conditions, they have forfeited their right to protection, and the agreement is null and void.



“This document shall be entrusted to the Christian chief and head of their church for safe keeping.”

The peace of God be over them all! This agreement is written by Moavijah Ben Sofian, according to the dictates of Muhammad, the Messenger of God, in the 4th year of the Hegira in the city of Medina.

Now let's look to the Quran itself: “Let there be no compulsion in religion. Truth has been made clear from error. Whoever rejects false worship and believes in God has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that never breaks. And God hears and knows all things.” (2:256)

“If it had been your Lord’s will, all of the people on Earth would have believed. Would you then compel the people so to have them believe?” (10:99)

“So if they dispute with you, say ‘I have submitted my whole self to God, and so have those who follow me.’ And say to the People of the Scripture and to the unlearned: ‘Do you also submit yourselves?’ If they do, then they are on right guidance. But if they turn away, your duty is only to convey the Message. And in God’s sight are all of His servants.” (3:20)

Obviously, the muslim treatment of Copts in Eygpt and other Christians in the M.E., Pakistan, Malaysia and Indonesia weren't consistent with the principle laid down by your document. Tell me, if this document is true, whatever happened to Christians in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and other Arab lands?

How about the Quranic verses then that lay out religious freedom? How don't you just admit that historically your religion has been just as bad and has just as much potential for violence as Islam? Islam might be more violent now, but to deny that Christianity has been just as violent and doesn't have the potential to this day is insane.

Do you not know that in islam, muslims were told to follow the principle of abrogation or substitution? Those so-called preaceful or good verses were abrogated or substituted by the violent militant verses that came at a later period in mo's life at medina when he gained much money and power as a warlord through highway robberies, raids and trerrorism.

Qur'an 16:101: "When We substitute one revelation for another, — and Allah knows best what He reveals (in stages), — they say, ‘Thou art but a forger’: but most of them understand not."
