Lincoln is rolling in his grave. So LC compares herself to Grant as well?

And the Civil War comparisons are unhinged hyperbole

She’s a loser like no knees Knappercrap

Colin Kaepernick 2.0

While Cheney’s self-indulged fantasies about becoming the country’s next Lincoln is great comedy, there is one figure throughout American history that the Wyoming representative measures up to quite well: former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

Much like Kaepernick, who made a Civil War era comparison of his own by relating the NFL draft process to a slave auction, Cheney has always been a washed-up nobody that was never good enough to make it in the pros. Rather than engaging in serious self-reflection as to why her popularity plummeted among the Wyomingites she swore to represent in Congress, Cheney decided to play the victim card and cast her work in the disgraceful Jan. 6 Committee as necessary for the future of the republic. From that point forward, anyone who refused to go along with her one-woman war against Trump became the enemy, while the bitter resentment intended to drive the rest of her political career completely divorced her from reality.

Imagine sharing Federalist trash and not having any shame.

Being compared to Kaepernick is a positive. Liz Cheney is no Kaepernick. She has done the bare minimum of trying to stand up for democratic norms, which is better than 99 percent of what the fascist GOP has become today. but in no way deserves applause.

Wrong on both accounts. Keepernick took a team all the way to the Super Bowl, which is literally the entire point of being an NFL quarterback, and Cheney was not “hired” to provide mindlessly, fanatical support to Donald Trump.

Oh, and Lincoln would DESPISE Donnie Draft Dodger and his cultists.

Number of black coaches in the NFL = ?

And please don't try to claim that black people do not know the game.

These obedient trump worshipers like the OP are trained to get their daily dose of bullshit from sites like the Federalist or ZeroHedge, then they come here to spread the hateful propaganda and ignorance. 🤡

Kaepernick did nothing wrong, he did nothing against America, and I agree with him and applaud his actions. 🇺🇸

Trump has violated his oath, the office of the Presidency, America and Americans. Cheney is standing up to hold him accountable for the deadly insurrection he incited on January 6, 2021 and all of his violence inciting lies surrounding that attack on our country. For only that reason, I give Cheney credit.

I for one encourage Cheney to run.

Every vote she as an independent pulls away from the Republicans might as well be a vote for Democrats.

I liked her on the Jan 6 committee. But her references to Lincoln were absurd.

Depending on her opponent, I'd vote for her. Policy is important (and I'd likely agree with some of her fiscal ideas), but character is far more important to me.

Policy goes back and forth. That's how the system is supposed to work. Democrats do things, then Republicans do things. It should balance out in the long run. Character is something that has become so rare in politics, it supersedes anything else the candidate brings to the table.

The reality is that she is a much better speaker than you. She gets her point across. You don't

She's 1000x better than Trump. There wasn't a single um or eh in her whole speech. There were no awkward pauses where you could tell she was struggling to figure out or remember her words.

And the best part is it's totally believable that she actually wrote it herself.

Her absurd assertions serve to show why she got her ass kicked. She's entered the liberal bubble and believes their delusions. She should spend more time in Wyoming and away from DC.

Liz Cheney owns the cult. It's hilarious. She is the reason millions of idiots have tripped over their own mushroom dicks pretending they despise her when they only despise her because she dared put country over Trump. I love it. Great share. Watching those idiots at The Federalist make fools of themselves is icing on the cake.

Which policy positions has she expressed that match liberal values?

She’s a level headed, reasonable Republican. If she had the nomination, she’d trounce Biden because most progressives and a lot of left-leaning independents would stay home.

But she won’t get the nomination, because the extremist far-right controls the Republican Party.
