By Timothy Meads -- On Friday January 25, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced that 95,000 individuals registered to vote in the Lone Star State have been identified as "Non-US Citizens," meaning they are illegally registered to vote. Further evidence brought forth by Texas Secretary of State David Whitely confirms that 58,000 of these individuals have broken the law and voted in "one or more" recent elections.... “Every single instance of illegal voting threatens democracy in our state and deprives individual Texans of their voice," AG Paxton said in a statement. "My Election Fraud Unit stands ready to investigate and prosecute crimes against the democratic process when needed." According to a press release issued by the Attorney General's office, while non-US citizens are legally allowed to obtain driver's licenses and other forms of ID, "only citizens are eligible to vote." Furthermore, the Sec. of State's office notes that "Voting in an election in which the person knows he or she is not eligible to vote is a second-degree felony in the State of Texas. "
"Nothing is more vital to preserving our Constitution than the integrity of our voting process, and my office will do everything within its abilities to solidify trust in every election in the state of Texas. I applaud Secretary of State Whitley for his proactive work in safeguarding our elections," AG Paxton added.

The Texas investigation is just scratching the surface. What are the odds that 100% of them voted Democratic? And how many are in the States of CA, NY, IL, FL, WA and OR?

It's as the name implies. A person that is not a citizen of the US. This can include both people that are here legally and illegally.

edit- Just for context, if the worst-case were true, it would mean that about 1/2 of 1% of votes in last year's governor election were ineligible.

The phrase “non-US citizen” is the opposite of a US citizen. The term is used throughout official US government paperwork and websites.

Every big city in Texas is blue as far as I'm aware. Not red. Which is why the "experts" have been predicting that Texas will soon be turning blue. There was even a whole campaign about it...

My guess is that the non-citizens most likely to be voting would be those here legally. Those are the ones most likely to have valid ID such as a driver's license to use to register.
 

Rather conspicuously missing from this report is why, with alleged evidence of 58K felony violations, there were no prosecutions mentioned. Registering voters and allowing them to vote (supervising elections) is a government function. It would seem that those doing the "illegal" voter registration (and/or allowing those "illegally" registered to vote) are complicit in, if not directly responsible for, this criminal activity.

Texas remained true to the GOP in this week's general election, but the blue spots on the map that represent Democratic votes and mark many of the state's biggest cities are getting bluer. We know that Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Laredo and Houston have turned blue. Meanwhile towns along the border with Mexico are now blue.

When a vote can come down to just a few hundred actual votes does the percentage of total votes that they make up really matter?

Note: I know that in this last election Cruz won handily by a margin of 200k plus votes. But this is not always the case in all States or even in Texas. Bush's election against Gore for example came down to just a few hundred votes cast.

That is a deflection.

Isn't one of the primary arguments about election voter fraud that illegals don't vote?

So extrapolating from your own figure of .69% applied nationwide to just Democrat totals in 2016 that would make nearly 500,000, but actually more like over 1 million if applied to the total of the 2016 national vote, and IMO almost all would likely have been voting Democrat.

But even then the concentration would most likely be in those "sanctuary" States with the largest populations of illegal migrants, including California, and other once "Red" States. Easily enough to affect local Statewide elections, not to mention adding numbers to the national elections.

That is only one example of possible voter fraud. Not even touching on things like possible mail-in voter fraud (valid voters, like the elderly or disabled who allow a "trusted" caretaker to vote for them), etc.

You can bet your bottom dollar that if they are voting illegally, they are also users of stolen or forged documents; green cards, drivers licenses, and social security cards
