Let's see here -- at one end you have some grandstanding morons saying a tee shirt is part of a "rape culture" who have no sense of proportion because if they did, they would be trying to combat some real injustice like all the Female genital mutilation or honor killings, instead. On that, they are strangelky silent because it isn't P.C.
At the other end, you have some serious misogynists using terms like "feminazi" to describe anything THEY don't like.
What has happened to the sensible middle ground, anyway -- you know, like just being a responsible parent who raises daughters with the sort of self-esteem that is dependent on their actual accomplishments instead of needing to be somebody else's trophy, but who doesn't get all hyperbolic over a silly tee shirt when there are much bigger issues to contend with?
It trivializes the work of people who are trying to combat serious issues regarding women's rights when those looking for a safe cause decide to focus on a tee shirt, instead.
