Taliban Kidnap 400 in Pakistan

Officials: mass abduction by Taliban in Pakistan - Yahoo! News

The Taliban abducted 400 students today in the North Waziristan area of Pakistan. The students are believed to be held in the Bakka Khel area, where top Al-Qaida and Taliban leaders are believed to be hiding, including Osama-bin Laden and and his deputy, Ayman al-Zawahri. As of now the Pakistan government has no plans to divert attention away from the Swat Valley.

I think that perhaps this is where the U.S. should offer to come in and help crush the Taliban and Al-Qaida once and for all. If we are able to cut the head off of the snake we can kill it. Thoughts?

I can't speak for the poster of the comment, but I do not advocate taking innocent lives regardless of the color. However, I feel that the Taliban and Al-Qaida should be eradicated with no apologies. If we have the ability to kill them, we should.

Well ****. I feel the same the same way about neocons. Dont think im prepared to carpet bomb washington to get it done tho. And neither would you be. But when it comes to the death of inoccent brown people. Who really gives a **** right? Moab that ****. Its all gravy. Collateral damage and all that.
 
Myself, I don't want to kill any brown babies. They are so cute at that age.

I wanna kill all the big brown Taliban though.

Then push them all in a big hole with a D-8 Catepillar.

Throw in some some lime dust too. (I figure they even smell worse dead. Maybe not though. I really don't know.)

Then cover them up with dirt, I suppose. That seems like the right thing to do.

Maybe say a few words over them.

Its nto so much about not wanting you to kill the taliban (all for it, really). Its more the idea that MOAB doesnt really discriminate between the 2.
And the fact that I dont really like the people doing the killing much more than the targets.

Easy fellows, no need to get so angry. The solution I think is for Pakistan to finish Swat Valley, while keeping an eye on the area where the kidnapped students are. I think that U.S. help would be crucial, but if Pakistan wants to do this themselves, then the U.S. should bump up their presence on the Afghan-Pakistan border to intercept any Al-Qaida or Taliban that may flee the Pakistani military.

The villages of the Pashtun border region who are giving quarter to AQ and the Taliban ought be eradicated, this is not a war crime the war crime has been perpetrated by those who hide behind "brown babies". The use of human shields does not make one immune from attack. Basic laws of war.
 

Well we did attack serbia for doing pretty much the same thing. According to your logic Serbia was merely eradicating the villages that were hiding the KLA.

I'm not talking ethnic cleansing here sport but a drain the well policy has been known to work in the past. Oh and I was opposed to the illegal unconstitutional war in Kosovo.
