He also lost his mother at a young age.

I think he's a good kid. I don't condone what he has done but it sounds like the people that have met with him personally have only good things to say. That's telling.

Both have cult-like followings and come from dynasty like families. I think both have a lot of similarities and I would love to see both of them meet to prevent war. Perhaps a Camp David like accord at Mar a lago?

We should reserve judgement. We don't know him. He's dealing with tough people in North Korean generals and some have tried to take power away from him.

Give him a break. This a product of a lack of understanding from the Clinton, Bush and Obama administrations. We need to talk to Kim. I don't understand the difficulty in having a conversation.

My Sympathy for Northkorea is based solely on an antipathy towards the bigoted public opinion in the West.

The opinion leaders in the international bodies have forbidden rocket and nuclear tests alright, but have achieved test results from their own rocket and nuclear tests since decades.

Now Northkorea is the evil empire provocing all the world, and not being obedient to the resolutions of the international opionion leaders.

That is symptomatic for human nature: talking of ethics, when in fact guarding own interests/influence/dominance by trying to bar others to gain means of power/force/whatever to supporting their own interests.

That falsehood is disgusting in my point of view.

The United States has already bombed North Korea before. North Korea has never attacked the United States once.

Luckily, Trump has established a solid relationship with China and they can help with the peace proceedings. Trump's impressive meeting with China (help from Ivanka's daughter) may have prevented war. Score one for the Donald.
 
How quickly we go from screaming about how the President is weak on North Korea for doing nothing other than attempted negotiation, to praising him for doing nothing and hoping he negotiates.

I guess that's what happens when the letter next to the name changes from (D) to (R).

Both Obama and Bush were weak on North Korea. Bill Clinton had mixed results but overall, disastrous. The Agreed Framework was a failure and billions of dollars were floated into North Korea from the behest of U.S lead negotiator Wendy Sherman who is reviled in South Korea.

The US bombed the North because the North attacked the South.

Still waiting on where these American death camps and secret policemen are.
