Surprise, Surprise (in voce Gomer Pyle).....the new AL Senator's (R, of course) a complete idiot.

Hitler unleashed his fanatical thugs to attack and murder anyone seen as being part of “the left“. The fact that the American conservative movement is laughably historically ignorant doesn’t change the facts.
They got their start in the Freikorps, far-right groups of war vets who literally fought socialists in the streets, and socialists and communists were the first guests in the concentration camps.
But there's that 'S' in the name of the party they hijacked to get a presence in the Reichstag. A nice little bonus for those laughably ignorants.

Yeah, Hitler was a big promoter of communists and communism in the 1930s. WTF are you talking about? Hitler hated communists almost as much as he hated Jews.

Hitler's message was a populist one:
Your troubles are cause by those "others." Elect me and I will Make Germany Great Again!

Sound familiar?
Hitler hated the communist party and their leadership. The policies that communist implemented were not too far from what Hitler did in Germany with the Nazi's.
Here are the Communist plans for America, many were very similar to things Hitler did and the democrats today are doing.

It's no laughing matter. The reason for the myth of Hitler being a leftist is very important.
The Republican Far Right is desperate to INOCULATE themselves against being outed as the democracy hating fascists that they are and will stop at nothing to keep the smokescreen going until their grip on power is such that it cannot be stopped.

If Trump goes to prison, and it is likely he will, he will hire another ghostwriter, this time to write his sympathy novel, about the felling of a great patriot engaged in a struggle against globalist leftists, "the kind that inspired Hitler" and he will use this novel to rehabilitate his brand and his family.

That cannot possibly happen if the American people finally learn how similar his methods are to those of the Third Reich and how closely aligned with authoritarian fascism they actually are.
The Trump far Right would be labeled as murderous fascists and the whole lumbering machinery of the Trump Republican Party would come crashing to the ground.

By the way, you can now see just how important Qanon is in all of this.
They found another weapons grade Big Lie and glommed onto it with all their strength....and sold it to the evangelicals, who also were in the market for a new enemy....Democrat pedo child traffickers!

There are no communist plans for America.
And lathering up yet another disinformation website is not going to help you in your fight against history.

Unless you can link to a rant and ridicule against Nancy Pelosi for saying stupid things we know you don't give a damn about this, just typical Democrat fake outrage and sneering.

Thanks for NOT answering a very simple question and going into full BS deflection mode once more.

What outrage?

🤔

I have far more reason to care about Nancy Pelosi being an idiot than a Senator from Alabama.

You have responded twice to my post and so very simple question, yet you have not answered it, but have further deflected twice.

Interesting?

🤔

My reply is that I don't care - and clearly neither do you.

This is your third opportunity to answer that so very simple question and you blew it once again.

One more deflection and a mistaken opinion regarding what I do or don't care about.

Why did that so very simple question toss your salad so bad?

Interesting?

🤔

Not to trump supporters.

Furthermore, Himmler, well before the Wannsee Conference, and after the "Night of the Long Knives", which eventuated the disposal of any and all left-sympathizing party members, including Ernst Roehm, about 1938, enunciated to a mass meeting of the SchutzStaffel (S.S.): "We are of the right and of order. We shall sweep away Jews, Bolsheviks, and liberal democracies as one sweeps away flies."

When the Enabling Act of 1933, which effectively made Hitler dictator of Germany, was voted on in the German parliament the only party to vote against it was the Social Democrats.

Hitler had most of the Strasserites, the wing of the Nazi party that actually had some socialist leanings, killed off in the Knight of the Long Knives in 1934.
Excellent post. I have to laugh when I hear the right saying some of the things they do. I have watched many, many documentaries about the second world war and hitler. The similarities to hitler and trump are scary. Trump even has his own version of the brownshirts, his base.

The Proud Boys are most definitely his brownshirts, at least in spirit.
Too bad for them that most of them wouldn't last five minutes if a real war actually broke out.

This reveals more ignorance than people realize. The Marshal Plan was instrumental to introducing and creating social welfare states in Western Europe. It was the only way to instill confidence in capitalism and democracy among Europeans, who had forsaken both during the Interwar years.

But, per the norm for today's American conservative, they use the ignorant right-wing propaganda of the day and improperly apply it to the past. In the meantime, their GOP hands out bail-outs to mismanaged banks and corporations, while their President hands out free welfare and unemployment checks. That's a crap load of socialism for a people who like to denigrate Democrat over socialism.

@MSgt your prior post was university level teaching, I'd love to see it made part of a FILES section here at DP on fascism.
