I have a business that is scrutinized by law enforcement. I don't do anything illegal, but all of us in this business know if a LEO wants to find something to ding us with he will. And some will go as far as planting evidence if they want you arrested bad enough. I respect most LEO's, as I have some in the family. But some are sociopaths and have no qualms about doing bad things for hire. A lawyer once told me lying by cops under oath is quite common if the want to nail someone.
