Per the recommendations of one of your helpful users, I had already gone to User Control Panel > General Settings and set my subscription method to instantly notify me in my email. I did this last night. Today, I manually checked for any replies to my posts, and there were 2 (so far), and I was not notified via email for either one.

What else can I do to effect this mechanism that is prevalently popular among other similar forums? I find it hard to continue posting without this feature working properly.

Thanks.

Moved this to feedback and will flag it so an admin sees it.

I didn't post under feedback because it implied non-response. I needed to get a response to this because this email notification feature determines whether I will continue to patronize this forum site or not. Oddly enough, I got an email notification of your moving my post. Now if only future replies to my posts will provide email notification as well.

We do respond to feedback here.

It should provide the notification for new threads from now on, but, I think, threads you have replied to are still under the old notification default you had and stay that way unless you change them individually.

Yes, I noticed. It's okay, I'm just glad this feature is working now. Thank you kindly for your assistance.

By the way, how do I change the notification setting for an individual post? Thanks.

I think you mean individual thread (rather than post). Once again, go to your user conrtol panel, then, at the bottom of your list of subscriptions there's an option to 'view all subscriptions', hit that, then a few columns come up. The column on the far right is for 'Notifications', check the boxes of the threads you want to change the default for, then, go to the button at the bottom called 'selected threads' and hitting that will give the different options for the threads. Let me know if you have any trouble. I'm doing this off memory. LOL

And you have an excellent memory! I got it, and thank you very much for all your assistance.
