It was unregulated capitalism that caused the 2007 Wall Street meltdown and the worst global recession since the 1930s. Ignore that and all the bankruptcies, jobs, businesses and homes lost as a result of greed. I am a capitalist and know how great it is versus S and C. I came from poverty, born here BTW, worked hard raising my kids and learning my trade and saving my money so that one day I might become a business owner. He just described what socialism leads to everytime. The social nirvana you kids find so attractive is but a dream. It sounds great.....I agree it sounds great BTW. Unfortunately it doesn't work like it sounds. Never in history has it worked.

The reason is simple. You remove reward and hard work is no longer justifiable. You will NOT work harder than your neighbor since all is going to be equal. Work should be equal. Trust me everyone does as little as possible under that system.

Waiters who provide great service and work hard do so for the larger tip. Remove tips and service will go to crap. No incentive to work hard.
