I'm not a huge Musk fan, he is just a tad to whacky for me, however, he is one very smart businessman who knows how to get things done. I have no thought one way or the other on his takeover attempt. He will win or lose and he will thrive with Twitter or he will fail.....that's how it goes in the corporate world. He was literally ousted from Paypal by Peter Thiel's team (the guy who actually made Paypal a success) for being grossly toxic and incompetent, and only scored the windfall that made the rest of his fortune possible because of his existing stake in the company from daddy's blood emerald money. This has largely established the guy's MO going forward: throw tons of money at people far more technically capable and competent than you and hope they make you rich, then generally try and take all of the credit. Let's not forget this is the guy whose spaghetti code he spent days and nights working on had to be thrown out and replaced wholesale by the work of actually competent coders because it was unsalvageably bad... something he threw an absolute bitch fit over because he's a childish narcissist.
