The libruls real problem is that they lack the ability to look inward when they lose elections. That was true during the Reagan era and it's true during the Trump era. They are not for instance trying to work out why they lost working class Americans and bled minorities in the 2024 election. That is why Reagan ultimately expressed regret for signing that comprehensive energy bill giving that amnesty. That is why every comprehensive immigration bill since has failed. The American voters no longer trusted comprehensive immigration bills unless border enforcement came first.
